My daughter really enjoys learning at Elite Martial Arts. Master Bañares is an amazing instructor. He pays attention to every kid and really care about them. Very welcoming environment for everyone. Highly recommended Martial arts club in Winnipeg.

My son had been attending for about a year and a half now and really enjoys it. Master Banares and the other black belts are very kind, knowledgeable and really care about the students. It’s not just a club, it’s more like a family. Everyone is welcome with open arms. I’m so glad we chose this Taekwondo club over others in my area.

Mr. Banares set such an amazing example for all of the Elite TKD members. He keeps it light and fun while the kids/not so kids learn self control, discipline and respect. Bringing my child to Elite TKD has been the best thing I have done as a parent. Highly recommended!


Everything about the school is awesome. The master is very positive, encouraging and supporting. The rest of the students are very positive and they support each other from age 4 to 54. Every time I leave class I feel uplifted. If all schools and workplaces had the level of courtesy and respect as Elite Tae Kwon Do, the world would be a better place.

My son has found so much confidence in himself and achieved things he didn’t even know was possible before Taekwondo. Ron and Kim are amazing and knowing they care so much about the growth of each student makes me feel proud to have my son be a part of this.

Coach Ron and the Pro Taekwondo St James has been a great benefit to my kids abundance of energy. When he started we were looking for a way for him to burn off energy and learn some new skills. After a month of training my kid's hockey coaches have noticed a difference in his agility, focus, and endurance. I can't wait to watch how he keeps growing in taekwondo and hockey. The programs with Pro are great and they really target the individual kids learning needs and abilities.

Hi, I’m a student in the dragons skill group here at Pro Taekwondo. I really like this school because they group there classes by age which i personally like because if You’re sparring you’ll be doing it with your own age level not younger kids where you might have to be more careful. They also teach you that taekwondo isn’t all just about punching and kicking, it’s about respecting yourself and other around you. Last but not least I really like the community, the instructors are always kind and there if you need help and there are a lot of students that you can get to know and become friends with. In other words Pro Taekwondo is like a big family and I definitely recommend it for people who want to learn martial arts.

By attending her regular classes, I can notice that she improved her listening skills, increased focus and self-control and she established her habit of enjoying physical activity wherein they do push up, and a lot of stretching. Thank you so much!


Pro Taekwondo has taught my children to be reliable and to stick to what they commit to. It has also taught them to be resilient. When they fall or get hurt, they get back up! Thank you Pro Taekwondo for instilling lifelong values for my children.


My son was really nervous to start classes but the instructors were kind enough to work with us until he was feeling more comfortable. He now loves going to taekwondo even though at first it was a new experience for him!


My child has been having a blast attending this school. The instructors are very good with kids and adults alike. They are fair and fun. They dont force the students to do things they feel uncomfortable doing and always encourage them to do their best. They make all the students feel safe and included.

I really loved the place it made me feel like home like where I belong.. is sad that I couldn't go there anymore because is to far from my place but yah master Cho was really kind to everyone and he will always tell us about good things!! I really miss that places . I want to thank you for teaching me and made me feel welcome

I remember many years ago there was an International style instructor and he left for greener pastures out east but Mr. Cho stayed and taught World style. I switched and never regretted it. He didn't abandon us and 40 years later he still has a school here. Thanks In response to Soccer Mom, it surprises me that she wouldn't address this incident immediately with management and instead make a negative review? or at least wait to see what happened once reported before making the review??
