M Prins: A hidden gem! So much packed in this little space! If you can, have a museum attendant around to ask questions—adds so much! The museum curator joined us and was a fount of knowledge on every bell and ship model and artifact. And he had personal experience! A short walk from The Forks, free admission, but hours are limited (closed for lunch, and close by 3pm. Museum is at the front of an active naval recruiting centre.
Joseph Cuddington (PepeLePewManchester): A good place to visit. The place is really clean and displays Naval Ships that we've had in our service as Canadians.

As an Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment, part of 38 Canadian Brigade Group, our role is to provide accurate tactical information on the enemy and ground to the Brigade. To do this we use light, highly mobile vehicles in conjunction with communications and surveillance equipment.

Co-located with us at the Armoury is 31 Engineer Squadron, part of 38 Combat Engineer Regiment. 31 ES was formed within the FGH, and became an independent unit on 14 April 2012. There is a historic connection between the Garrys and Engineers, detailed in the 1942-46 History section.

Miles Reid: Great collection of former candadian air force planes before you enter the base. Pieces of Canadian history. This is worth a stroll or at least a drive by. Some rare aircraft to see. There are two more off site on Ness and on Portage. Great hidden gem.

Fox Trot: Good place to make a quick stop and see some old war planes. They are mounted do you can't get to close.No facilities but does have a kids park near by.

Jeremy Boutin: This is a fantastic museum for anyone interested in aviation or mechanics in general.I visited with my wife and two young children for about two hours on a Friday morning. I could’ve spent a bit longer at the museum, as there is a lot to see. They have lots of restored planes, artifacts, and very professional videos available for viewing. It was a bit long for the little ones—they had fun checking everything out, including exploring the two planes you’re able to enter, and spent some time playing on the playground, but they enjoyed their time there.I felt we got good value for money. It was about $50 for our family of four to enter and another $5 for parking.Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful facility.

Fabi D: . The Museum itself appeared small in pictures but it is definitely bigger. Many amazing and beautiful planes and very nice staff too. You can even sit in some planes/simulators and press buttons or take pictures. If that's nothing for you, there's a corner right upstairs with a telescope which lets you see the runway of the YWG airport. We finished our visit at the Souvenir shop. Great experience in general and I would definitely recommend visiting the Museum if you are into planes.

I enjoyed the layout of the museum and also its invitation to think , instead of a strong agenda. Also want to give credit to including the history that many don't feel proud of. It is essential to be able to see and discuss history so it does not repeat itself.My only minor complain is the layout inside can be a little confusing. Maybe I missed the map or overview, or maybe the museum is designed this way as human right can be a confusing topic often without a clear right and wrong.
