The food is delicious, really amazing and fresh, and the service from Syd and the rest of the staff is top notch.We were traveling through Winnipeg and we always look for the best vegan restaurants wherever we go, and we found it here!On Friday, we enjoyed lunch so much, we ordered dinner to go... Both meals were superb. Saturday we stopped in for lunch, and came back for dinner, it was all so good!The pasta, mac & cheese, salad, tot-chos, soup, sandwiches and desserts were all amazing! And we love supporting small businesses and local owners...Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegan plant-based and delicious!
Magdalena Procknow: We are in Winnipeg for the weekend visiting family and were searching for a vegan restaurant to have lunch. We stopped by the Roughage Eatery and we are so glad we did! Everything is vegan and they make their seitan and vegan cheese in house. We had the Apple Brie sandwich and UnTurkey Pesto sandwich which were both absolutely delicious. We finished off with a coffee cake for dessert that was absolutely divine!!Our server Syd was SO NICE we love her so much and would come here to eat again just because of her!! Support them expanding their vegan cheese empire because we absolutely need them to come to Saskatoon!

Janna Machts: So good!! We were looking for a restaurant with vegan options and stumbled over this gem... Originally meant to try more things in Winnipeg but had to come back the next day haha the dinner for 2 is huge and lasted us for another meal, also very tasty! Their gluten balls will haunt our dreams forever now though :D might have to take another trip across the pond one day.
Josie Torres: The service was wonderful and the owners are very great and caring. If you're looking for delicious vegetarian food I would definitely recommend this place. Personally the Spicy Sauce Wontons were my favorite.I will however mention, that for the price the servings were *just a tad bit* slightly on the smaller side. Definitely enough to fill us though, and bring home some leftovers. I would maybe next time get the combo instead, as they seem to be better value for your money. Otherwise everything was amazing ♥️Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Restaurant, everything was either vegan or vegetarian.
Kayla Michel: The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, The owners are incredible people in the time we were there they showed exceptional patience, kindness, and caring in all they do there. The food was sooo good, my family of 5 loved every bite! We have three children, 2 of which are toddlers. So we ordered the combo for 3. The owners brought us two extra deserts just as a kindness and I would say just further showed how thoughtful they are! We would definitely recommend for a all around wonderful experience! Portions were generous, and we were warmly welcomed while we came in to wait for our pick up order to finish.We were given some great advice for saving 3rd party fees and ordering directly; this was my return to Chinese food after a long hiatus, my last experience with another restaurant was not ideal. This time around, it was a complete 180 from my last time trying Chinese.I will definitely be back for dinner soon, everything was so fresh and delicious. Affinity made me feel quite confident that I would be safe eating her within my dietary restrictions.What a great spot.

Grace Farmer: Been going to this place since I was very young, can honestly say my favourite restaurant in Winnipeg 💕 with growing up vegetarian eating out normally wasn’t easy but Delicious was vegan since before it’s was wildly accepted and has always been consistently amazing food. The folks that work here are lovely and kind. Their deep fried “eel” is what made me like mushrooms.

Absolutely delicious. The highlight of my order were the mounds of deep fried crispy mushrooms. They come piled high and are addictive. Overall very happy with my order and will be back to try more. When you walk in, you catch the vibe straight away.Now onto the service... our server for the night was on the ball, I mean super attentive! You could tell she really cared about having us there and making sure everything was on point, and it was. She was quick to refill our drinks, chatty, and had a smile.The food was tasty and cooked well, but I wouldn't call it exceptional given the price point. Don't get me wrong, it was good food, but I was hoping for a little something extra to justify the dent on my wallet.All in all, I'd definitely recommend Oxbow if you're looking for a place with great vibes and on-point service. The food serves well, but if you're eyeing the 'wow' factor in every bite for the price, it may not hit that mark. But hey, it's still a pretty good night out!"Remember, this is just my two cents! Justin Caputi: .I mostly recently visited with my family and we tried 9-10 dishes that were incredibly delicious, paired with 2 wine selections, and we all left very satisfied with every aspect of our evening.The menu can also be enjoyed for people with Celiac disease, as many of the items are gluten-free or have great gluten-free substitutions. The kitchen staff were amazing with handling and creating our dish selections to ensure that everything was Celiac-friendly too.The atmosphere inside is a great spot for date night, to get some friends or family together, or even to enjoy a night out for some drinks. We didn't get to enjoy their outdoor patio, but it has been highly recommended and I can't wait to enjoy another night at Oxbow this summer!

I really appreciate that there was a seperate vegan menu and the dishes were so flavourful! You can tell effort was put into the menu to ensure the dishes were unique and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Can't wait to go back again!

David D: I have been wanting to try this place for a long while and finally was able to. Father’s Day and my daughter’s birthday together and this was the perfect place to celebrate. The server Misha was spectacular and made our night very nice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and then curated the order of the food coming out to make the meal progression perfect! We were on the patio and it was very nice. We did peek inside and I would say you can’t go wrong in either place. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food taste sensations were amazing and the prices very reasonable. Ended with a cappuccino that was perfectly crafted. Thanks to the team there for a wonderful evening!
MA J: Last time I was at Oxbow was probably over a year and a half ago, if not longer. Made a reservation here to come to celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary with my husband and it was so wonderful. I always love the ambiance of the place, the service is A plus and the food was so good. Only call it is I feel the burrata was missing a flaky sea salt or something, but it was still delightful. Loved my white cross mocktail. We also had the arancini, the potatas bravas, the schnitzel, and the carrots. Definitely was a lot of food but we were happy to take it home for leftovers the next day. Can't wait to go back and check out their patio this summer!

Definitely nicer and roomier restaurant with great menu options including vegetarian options. Fantastic patio in the summer and great selection of espresso drinks.Cant get enough of their brunch!
XINYUAN JIANG: ☕️Coconut cream latte is not so sweet but the coffee is so weak.🥞Berry pancake mixed with cream cheese and blueberry jam melted in the mouth !🍎Apple fritters are crunchy and sweet with cinnamon powder just perfect!
J Cockerill: This place is nice when it comes to atmosphere. Food was decent but it really felt like it's trying too hard to be unique and different. It was hard to decide what to get because there was something in every dish that just seemed a little weird. I probably need to go try a few different things.One disappointing thing was that I had phoned the day before we went to see about a reservation...was put on hold for 5 minutes and finally just hung up.My biggest take away is that the dishes seem complicated for no reason...they could simplify them and it would probably be better.
Mimi Pech: Highly recommend Juneberry. Great place to grab breakfast/brunch with friends & family. Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, clean restaurant. The staff and servers were very attentive, polite, and helpful. The food was some of the best we had in a while!! Proportions are sized well, food isn’t oily, filling but light on the tummy, seasoned well, fresh ingredients.

M Miller: Juneberry is a great little place. We sat in a cozy booth, filled with lots of pillows. The server was friendly, and the food came out quick. We had the pancake, potato’s and the classic breakfast. Portions weren’t huge but they were just enough. Everything was really tasty, especially their house made sausage patties. The only thing to say is they have 1 bathroom, which is super inconvenient! Other than that, a great place to frequent!

Gail Horvath: Dining here was an experience I will remember for years. Every dish was unique, beautiful, and delicious. It felt like I was experiencing art. Four of us dined together on an evening where there was a fixed menu, and we shared so we could try every single dish on offer. Every dish was a joy. The chef made use of many local, in season ingredients and combined them masterfully. The server was warm, knowledgeable, and professional. This is not an intimidating fine dining experience - you will feel comfortable and relaxed and the chef may even come by to greet you. The fixed menu had more food than we could eat so we took some home. I recommend budgeting for a special dining experience here - it is good value for the effort put in by the Chef and staff and the wonderful ingredients. A Deer + Almond experience will not fade in your memory like other ordinary evenings at a chain restaurant.
Stephen Strike: 4 course options from the preset choices were all beautifully arranged and full of flavor.Smaller dishes in each but enough food by the last bite to satisfy the vast majority.The couple sample dishes could have easily been on the menu as options.Service was top-notch, providing a detailed outline of the ingredients of each dish and how it was prepared.Maybe a touch pricey, but the food was worth it and not the drinks.The only con I have is the atmosphere. Felt like eating in an old cafe and the amazing food was out of place.It's definitely worth a try.
PAMN: Really an outstanding restaurant! The service is awesome because they give you a wine tasting and also intricately explain the items you are ordering from the dining experience menu. Valpolicella Superiore and Deer Carpaccio are match made in heaven; it was my first time having a deer dish that too in carpaccio form - loved it and it was my favourite 😻 from the menu! Green Pappardelle was soft and tasty with a flavour bomb in that fiery chilli oil, wow 🤩🔥 Pork Schnitzel and Honey Custard had nice presentation but tastes ok compared to the first two dishes!! The restaurant is extremely hygienic and tip top with a casual ambience Palette cleanser served at the end and complimentary starter received were also good 😌Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options also available on the menu!Dietary restrictions: They do ask whether you have any allergies!
