Chris Hoquis: Rented out this venue for an evening local market event - Junel was our main point of contact and had walked us through all of the logistics prior. He and his team were very patient as we continuously brought up use cases and issues that we didn't have answers to that he navigated through proactively and with exceptional professionalism. Our event feedback from our attendees was outstanding as the "vibe" was continuously the highlight of the night. This is a venue that is a place I highly recommend for events, notably for meaningful and engaging networking. They have all of the structural setup to host any event, concert, and showcase of talent, we're truly appreciative for this local gem in our city. Thank you Junel, Andrew, and Exchange Event Centre staff, we will be back in September!!

will west: Saw the Merkules show here on a Saturday night. The venue was clean and not over packed for a sold-out show. Security check was quick and no complaints. No wait for the coat check. Bartender was slow, but had to deal with tons of people so fully understandable.

The Jubilee Place Concert Hall is an acoustically excellent concert facility located on the campus of the Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute Inc (MBCI). It was completed in 1987 for the purpose of providing the school, constituency and community with a medium-sized concert hall suitable for a large variety of events. Jubilee Place is ideal for band and choir concerts, musicals, dance, recitals, stage productions, and group meetings. More information can be found in the below downloads.
Tiered seating, up to 623 seats. Many wheelchair accessible seats, as well as some parking spots near the ramp to the main entrance.
Large backstage area (stage left) and access to some classrooms from the school.
Massive stage, big enough for the symphony or dance competitions. Backdrops can come forward to make stage less deep if desired.
Beautiful Bosendorfer 9' grand piano and excellent acoustics for orchestral and choral shows.
Sound - system is included in rental fee - adequate system for most shows.

Jennifer Fisher: A really nice venue. It was incredibly clean, and had decent acoustics. Parking was not the most efficient in design but could have been worse.

Nikki B: I have been to Jubilee place for a number of MBCI hosted musicals, including Oliver and most recently Shrek. The space is great, and the sound has been good. I am so impressed with the quality of production that MBCI on these shows. It's as good as going to a professional event. There is so much talent in the school. Thank you for putting these on.The only downside is how small the reception space is. Gets very crowded. But that can't be helped.
Lovepreet Singh: Overall good experience. Parking fills out quick for a bigger event but that probably is on the organizers not the place itself. Seating is tight and you will feel cramped if you are big person
Cameron Patrick: I have attended a few events here over the years. The hall is nice, with a big stage and good views around the whole facility. The only two complaints I have are that the seats are a touch uncomfortable for longer performances and the entrance tends to bottleneck when a performance lets out.

Josh Friesen: We played there June 20. Decent space with private bathroom in back. We were 19 people in total, wouldn't want much more. Good stage set up and good mixture of tables and standing area.
Kyra Thiele: Went for Queer Bingo and had a blast! They had a decent beer selection, which was awesome for this craft beer lover. My only complaint would be that they ran out of food options early on in the night, but I think that was because they probably weren't expecting the huge turnout they got. But overall, fun place!

Dave Blicq: An exceptional value for the appreciative ear. Attended many shows over the years. A range of styles from expected classics to occasional avant-garde experiences. Programming tries to target as broad a range of clientele as possible. Building possesses exceptional acoustics and fine sightlines. Outer galleries (with a Logan'sRun" aesthetic are on multiple levels and serve refreshments in a spacious and well-designed environment.

S. Rebizant: The WSO and guest performers made Handel's Messiah a beautiful, moving experience. In a world where there is so much uncertainty and hate, it was a privilege to pause and enjoy life. It was an amazing evening and I feel fortunate that Winnipeg has this spectacular orchestra.
