Gardens at The Leaf: what do users think?

Laura Duchek: Fabulous place!

Richard Katch: Excellent. There are so many different varieties of vegetables and fruits.

Aluko JOLAOSO (AJ): Restrooms: Neat

Jacky Will: We really enjoyed the beautiful walking trails around The Leaf with the large trees. The gardens themselves were okay, but not overly impressive. Perhaps once the place is running a few years it'll be more impressive.

Joanne Wiebe: It was very hot that dayBut what I saw was beautiful.

Carol P: Peaceful, plan to spend a few hours to see everything.

Jean-Michel: was more informed about the space, and why there weren't any. We did see a moth inside, which was concerning.I think the cafe should almost be inside with the plants so you feel more natural getting a coffee or a drink to sit and enjoy. With respect to the restaurant's food. The duck poutine was salty and bad. The braised rib was awesome. The bread was nice too. I found the server to be disrespectful. He made some odd comments; my friend asked if the water he was pouring was cold, and he said "Yes, it's cold and fresh from the tap."

Tara Mathew: Just wonderful. Even the kids loved it. The teens loved the selfie ops! The adults loved everything. I loved the family photo ops. We spent so much time enjoying the indoors we never actually made it outside so I'm thrilled the outdoor gardens area free. We've got to take the time to go there soon! The Mediterranean room was just a bonus because the main central room gets all the attention and coverage but I enjoyed the Med as much if not more. So beautiful. Far less busy. We meandered in there and our kids played for ages.Restrooms: Very clean and nice. Once you are inside the gardens though, we're are no washrooms, so go before you head in.

Katherine “Ksimera” T: Very interesting botanic garden from mostly native plants. Would be nice to have more of self-interpretive stuff.

JODIE WORLEY: Very beautiful, but I felt it was a little expensive for the experience, seeing the old one was free. The butterflies are at the end of season, so not very many flying around. Besides that it was a beautiful and engaging. Many great places to snap some selfies and family pictures.Restrooms: Nice bathrooms, family and gender natural available.

M Sun: Aesthetically very well laid out. I have been curious about certain plants such as cocoa tree, jackfruit tree, wild coffee and more. I’m going back for a more in depth look even though I’m not a plant enthusiast. I was told that this building houses the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. There are 3 areas including the butterfly Pavilion on the third floor. The place is very warm and humid so dress light.

Belen McMillen: This is a very interesting outdoor place to pick up fresh fruits and vegetables grown in Canada, BC, Manitoba and Ontario. They also have freshly baked breads, scones, pasteies etc.

Scott MacAuley: Freshest of local vegetables, plenty of specialty frozen items, local baked goods, and Canadian fruits. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I just love the overall vibe of this market. Wish we lived in a climate where markets like this could be open all year,

James Pielou: Wonderful.

Doreen Mae: Best place for fresh produce and plants.

D Love: I love this market. The fresh produce, the pickled items and they carry so many local products! Always something new to try. I can't ever leave without a new item and a jar of pickled asparagus or pickled carrots! Luv 'em, Sooooo Gooood!

Parvez Fattah: Be ready to get lost in this place. It seems that they have everything one can wish for. Excellent place with lots of choice. Prices are reasonable

Tom Sawatzky: One of the best in the city with very high standards for their plants and fair pricing. The coffee bar is a nice touch!

Oubay Chebib: Victoria Day super crowded. Even though they were super busy we found a staff member eager to help. The staff member led us to the Virginia creeper plant. Which I did not know its name and I had a very early spring photo of but they were able to identify it.

Myra Meyer: I want to express our appreciation for the care and attention to detail that Calvin, the tree guy, exhibited in directing our purchase of several flowering trees for our backyard. They arrived in time to display their beautiful blossoms and gave us great pleasure and enjoyment. Thank you Calvin.

Sage Garden Greenhouses: what do users think?

Clee: This is my happy place! The staff are all incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and their passion for plants is undeniable.Every year, a friend and I purchase a Savy Sage Savings Bundle so we can have our regular, monthly visit with our coupon in hand. We don't even always use them and the package is still an unbelievable value. If you are in love with plants, you need to stop by! I'm positive you'll feel the same.

Jim Turnock: A true gem of a garden centre! Dave and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and focused on what your needs are. From first timers to seasoned experts, Sage can provide. They offer what can only be described as a curated collection of offers, with incredible unique species and families of plants, and trees. They are to me, the pre-eminent garden centre in Manitoba.

Doug T.: Mask required to go inside the building.

Amanda Fyfe: It's a great little plant store. Has a lot of great choices and things you won't find other places. Most of the staff is full of plant knowledge.Because they are very clean of chemicals they are slightly more pricey. But depending what your looking for its definitely worth it.

Tim Clare: So many unique plants you won't find anywhere else. Staff are very knowledgeable, can't wait to come back.

Wendy Savage: As always excellent customer service. Healthy robust plants and great advice.

2 Baked Girls Potcast: First time here and I’m hooked. So many neat indoor and outdoor plants!!! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Bjorne Oslo: Best place for exotic and unique plants

Jo Smith: Such a great nursery! They had a great selection of kids books that were really well priced and a nice selection of plants. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm so glad masks are still required here as it's a safe place to shop for me and my family. It's disheartening to see comments from people whining and complaining over having to wear a mask. Stop being selfish and think of others who are suffering from autoimmune disorders and other illnesses. I will gladly wear a mask to help keep these people safe.
