The duck poutine was salty and bad. The braised rib was awesome. The bread was nice too. I found the server to be disrespectful. He made some odd comments; my friend asked if the water he was pouring was cold, and he said "Yes, it's cold and fresh from the tap."

We spent so much time enjoying the indoors we never actually made it outside so I'm thrilled the outdoor gardens area free. We've got to take the time to go there soon!The Mediterranean room was just a bonus because the main central room gets all the attention and coverage but I enjoyed the Med as much if not more. So beautiful. Far less busy. We meandered in there and our kids played for ages.Restrooms: Very clean and nice. Once you are inside the gardens though, we're are no washrooms, so go before you head in.

Besides that it was a beautiful and engaging. Many great places to snap some selfies and family pictures.Restrooms: Nice bathrooms, family and gender natural available.
M Sun: Aesthetically very well laid out. I have been curious about certain plants such as cocoa tree, jackfruit tree, wild coffee and more. I’m going back for a more in depth look even though I’m not a plant enthusiast. I was told that this building houses the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. There are 3 areas including the butterfly Pavilion on the third floor.The place is very warm and humid so dress light.

4worldlovers: Families work together to plant, tend and harvest with children playing along side in a safe environment. Everyone is learning about gardening and experiencing respect for the land and what it provides.
The Project was initiated in 2008 by a group of new immigrants and was nurtured by Knox who helped to find partners in the City of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba which provides access to two acres of land. Knox provided the tools and resources that were needed to launch the project and continues to provide financial and prayerful support. Harvest from the gardens is spread on the communion table at thanksgiving as a reminder of God’s bounty.
The dreamer and mastermind behind this project is Knox member Raymond Ngarboui. Starting with 16 immigrant families from nine different countries in 2008, the Garden has grown to serve a vast community. The project has expanded to use over 10 acres outside the city of Winnipeg, with land in Landmark and Niverville. It has become not only a chance for people to grow their own healthy foods at a low cost, but also to interact among themselves and with Canadian born community members, sharing cultural practices, improving their English, and avoiding social isolation. The Garden uniquely fosters home-country vegetables no one knew would grow on the Canadian prairie!
Besides the outdoor gardening in summer, Rainbow Garden Program continues indoors with the winter program, including djembe drumming, healthy eating and Canadian life skills sharing and training from November to March of every year. The Canadian African Muslim Women’s Association has emerged out of connections developed in the Rainbow Garden group and have become a member of the Community Hub.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and their passion for plants is undeniable.Every year, a friend and I purchase a Savy Sage Savings Bundle so we can have our regular, monthly visit with our coupon in hand. We don't even always use them and the package is still an unbelievable value.If you are in love with plants, you need to stop by! I'm positive you'll feel the same.

They offer what can only be described as a curated collection of offers, with incredible unique species and families of plants, and trees. They are to me, the pre-eminent garden centre in Manitoba.
