Sous Sol: what do users think?

L. Lau: Reliable dining choice. Food is always consistent with options to satisfy carnivores and vegetarians alike. The tenderloin is consistently well done, regardless of the variation for the evening. Sides and salads are good as well. Love the potato dauphinoise.Definitely recommend a reservation as the space is small and intimate.Vegetarian options: No specific mains, but two varieties of salad. Most of the sides and some appetizers are suitable for vegetarians.

Alex F: Sous Soul is Ultra Nostalgia. If you grew up in the 80s this place is like your mom's house in the best way.Jurassic park and Disney on VHS, 80s music on the playlist. Doilies, candles, taxidermy, crosstitch. If this is your childhood then this is Your Soul. The waitresses treat you like family and I believe that's by design. This casualness from the staff helps you feel like you're at a family dinner. The menu was delicious, like an elevated take on a first generation European immigrant's favorite staples.Boar chops, duck and beans, zucchini, cabbage, and gnocchi. The theme is apparent, clear, and well executed.I felt transported back into a childhood I never personally experienced. The only exception to the theme is the cocktail menu which definately has a more modern twist.Overall very impressed with this dark little speak easy.

Melissa Chung-Mowat: First time at Sous Sol. Atmosphere was awesome...loved the speak easy vibes and the food was great. Really loved the oysters to start and creme brulee to finish but all of it was delicious.I didn't give 5 stars across the board because the mocktails were very underwhelming. I was anticipating a fancy drink in a small, dainty glass to go along with the vibes. But both mocktails came in large tumbler kind of glasses with paper straws and there wasn't anything special about them. Would be nice if they upped their mocktail game!

Natasha Patel: Interior is dark, candle lit and has such a romantic vibe. Phenomenal french cuisine blew our minds. Duck confit, beef tenderloin and potato dauphinoise were cooked to perfection. Service is also fantastic. This is a Winnipeg - Must visit!Recommended dishes Duck Leg Confit in an Orange Sauce, Potato Side …

Reid: Favorite restaurant in the city, also my favorite cocktail bar, in the same place!

Aaron Petrie: A unique dining experience. Dimly-lit cellar with tasty vegetarian options. A little hard to find but worth the trip.

Miss Browns: what do users think?

C.A. Thomas: I've only had the brisket hash, but obviously I like it or I would have tried other things, haha! Friends got the eggs Benedict which apparently was tasty. It looked quite yummy to me. French toast wasn't as good, my friend felt like they didn't let the bread sit long enough in the egg mix before frying. Said it was pretty much just fried bread.

Wooje Choi: Overall, the Eggs Benny with ham was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was great. However, the ham and bread were a little bit tough and the hash browns weren’t seasoned evenly.

Lightning McQueen: I love breakfast

Faryal (Faryal): Little Teal La geum

Abu: Tasty sandwich!!

XINYUAN JIANG: Looks better than taste

Rice Bowl Restaurant: what do users think?

MIke Barker: First visit today.I had number 26. It was "Spicy Chicken something" I think. Let me tell you it was amazing and a massive proportion for $12.99. I stuffed my self and took just as much home with me in a takeout container. Of curiosity I counted 21 patrons in the short 30 minutes I was there. The staff was friendly and prompt and very busy but no one waited very long for anything. I am very impressed and I will return and bring friends. A fantastic place to eat. The food was amazing that I had and the large dishes of things constantly coming out of the busy kitchen all looked amazing too!

Jul & Mich Garcia: Great tasting food, huge portion for the price and friendly owner. 👍

Rob Wensel: The food was amazing and the owner is super friendly

Diana Basa: Great service and my go-to filipino restaurant to dine in with family. Their pork sisig is my favourite.

Jason Balonyk: First time ordering from here, ordered Pho, PadThai, Pancit and one other dish, everything was fantastic!!Fresh, hot and extremely tasty!!Parking: Lots of street parking available.

Saddlery on Market: what do users think?

AJ's Mystic Mirror and Custom Creations: We have had the pleasure to work with this venue a few times. The atmosphere is incredible and very warm. Set-up was easy as we were able to use the back door elevator. Staff was super helpful and friendly!!We have always set/up behind the curtain and love that it allows us to do some last minute tweaking before we start. The venue coordinator was super friendly and easy to work with!! Highly recommend this venue!!

Aubry Quero: Stumbled onto Saddlery while walking around downtown and saw a patio area where we could sit and have a couple drinks. We had a dog so we stayed outside and just enjoyed the weather, it was midday, 28C. Service was great, friendly staff. We spilled our drink but it was promptly replaced. We had the tomato soup and long Island iced tea. Very refreshing. It was just us on the patio so it was relatively quiet and relaxing. I liked the soup and the cheese toasts. We just wanted a light lunch. Overall good experience. Would recommend.

Brooke MacMillen: great place to eat for a date or for a hearty dinner, burger week burger was one of the best i had. server was friendly and funny.Recommended dishes Our Famous Bison Mac' N Cheeseburger …
