Clementine: what do users think?

MONIQUE AQUIN GRABOSKI: A friend and I met for lunch and the wait time was short. Our dishes were delicious and service was also timely and attentivecwith coffee and water refills. Seating is a bit uncomfortable due to height of tables and chairs because I am short. Just a thought but in future I would prefer a lower table and would ask to be seated in one of those tables.Parking: It is in the Exchange district so mostly street parking. Stairs down to a lower level so not wheel chair accessible.

Ramona Yun: Showed up before 9am on a Wednesday, and there was already a few groups gathered out front eagerly awaiting opening. Service was friendly and prompt. It's got an open kitchen which adds to the atmosphere. Food is as good as everyone says it is. Our party ordered the fried corn, the turkish eggs, and the mushroom toast. Everything was delicious, but personal favourite and standout of the dishes is the mushroom toast. The burst of flavour was unexpected and very welcome! Definitely order something with the sourdough bread. It's thick, flavourful, and got just the right chew. Just visiting, but Clementine makes me wonder if I should move to Winnipeg for the food.Accessibility information:From street level, the restaurant is down a flight of stairs with handrails. I did not see an elevator but unsure if access to one is available. There is a mix of bar height counter and farm table style seating with some lower standard height non-fixed tables and chairs. Most if not all chairs have backrests. There are hooks at the bar counter for bags and personal belongings. There are two single occupancy washrooms, one with signage indicating it is accessible, but I did not confirm availability of amenities and accessories inside the accessible washroom.Vegetarian options: There are several delicious vegetarian options on the menu that are on equal footing with the meat options, which is always welcome.

Garry Duke: The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Will visit again! Every one's meal was perfect!Kid-friendliness: Acknowledged our kids and chatted with them!

Obed Carrillo G: Clementine is Winnipeg's number one brunch spot! Maybe their number one food establishment period! The establishments atmosphere is wonderful and cozy, having a bit of an underground speakeasy kinda feel.I had the chorizo tostadas while my partner had the turkish eggs. Both which were an interesting take on ethnic foods with a fun white-people twist. The chia pudding as a great, healthy side.Truly a wonderful place.Definitely come here if you visit Winnipeg, it is a MUST.Vegetarian options: This place has food options for all kinda of people. The chia pudding was amazing!Parking: Nearby street parking is available that is pretty inexpensive.

Cooki Lumsden: braised bacon was sublime. Sadly, the coffee was seriously over roasted. Clementine is definitely on my come back and try the rest of the menu list.

Jacky P: The bread slices are thick and bouncy, integrity keeping well into your meal. The chicken was well seasoned, portioned, and juicy. The drinks are all refreshing and tasty. The root beer pudding sounded odd but was such a stand out! Wait times are long, come prepared.Recommended dishes Braised Bacon Benedict and Fried Potatoes, Fried Chicken on Toast …

Anca Alecsandra Rusu: I went for breakfast on a Saturday and the atmosphere was so nice! It's laid back and hip. I had a chia bowl that was delicious.Too bad it's in a demi-sol and they have no outside seating area. But either way, I loved it.Kid-friendliness: Every second party there was a family with a couple of kids.

Lil Goertzen: Brunch with my daughter on a Monday is always a treat. We shared the sandwich of the day which was very tasty. It was served on toasted focaccia. Flavor was very nice but I found it was too much bread for my preference. She had the side garden salad with house dressing and enjoyed it.My half sandwich was served with beet borscht - it did not disappoint!! I can count on Oakwood Café for excellent borscht. One of my favorite places.

Ben & Florentine Regent avenue: what do users think?

Lindsay Gray: The food absolutely blew me away. It was so delicious, portions were large, and there was a large selection. The service was definitely lacking as I never once got a refill on my small cup of coffee, but thankfully the food made up for the subpar service. I had the sriracha eggs Benedict and it was so filling. The others I was with got the crispy french toast, and the strawberry banana crepes. They raved about their meals as well.I look forward to tasting my way through the menu!

Noor Pannu: I wish I could give more than 5 stars for service. The gentleman who served us was absolutely fantastic. I an currently non-verbal which means I need to sign to communicate. He was so cool and tried to understand. Even when my partner was translating for me, the server was looking at me when responding. I appreciate it so much. I felt the experience was so inclusive and I am so grateful for that. At the end, when I used thank you sign, he used it too and it was the sweetest moment. There should be more people like him, not just in hospitality but everywhere. Thank you so much! ❤️💐Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options to choose from. From oatmeal to crepes, to waffles. Delicious, wholesome meals.Parking: The parking spots are rather narrow. So, if you're a new driver or feel anxious while parking, consider parking a little further away like near Appelt's coz there will be less cars parked there.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible seating, doors and washrooms. There's wheelchair accessible parking out front as well. I dined here as a non-verbal individual and I had the most amazing experience. They were very nice.

Michael Dube: My family and I recently visited Ben & Florentine's for breakfast, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a welcoming ambiance, and we were eager to try out their menu offerings. The food at Ben & Florentine's was undoubtedly the highlight of our visit. The breakfast dishes were delicious and well-prepared, leaving us satisfied and content. The friendly nature of the staff was also noteworthy. The one waitress who was working that day was polite and accommodating, doing her best to attend to all the customers' needs. However, the major drawback of our visit was the slow service. It was evident that the single waitress was overwhelmed by the number of diners, and this adversely impacted the overall dining experience. The management should take note of this and ensure adequate staffing, especially during peak hours or busy days, to provide customers with a more enjoyable dining atmosphere. It's worth mentioning that Ben & Florentine's has a reasonable pricing structure, particularly for a franchise. This makes it an attractive option for families looking for a delicious breakfast without breaking the bank. While the slow service was a letdown, it did not overshadow the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Ben & Florentine's. The tasty food and friendly staff compensated for the wait time, but it's essential for the restaurant to address their staffing issues to maintain their reputation and customer satisfaction.

DM K: dishes with lower prices, which is a bonus. The burger we got was amazing! Thick and obviously homemade, tasty fries as well. I wasn't happy with the coffee, though, much too weak for my preference, but admittedly, I like mine very strong. The staff was very friendly ❤️. There's not much ambience, and it got a little crowded but was acceptable. Would recommend.

Juneberry: what do users think?

XINYUAN JIANG: ☕️Coconut cream latte is not so sweet but the coffee is so weak.🥞Berry pancake mixed with cream cheese and blueberry jam melted in the mouth !🍎Apple fritters are crunchy and sweet with cinnamon powder just perfect!

Mimi Pech: Highly recommend Juneberry. Great place to grab breakfast/brunch with friends & family. Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, clean restaurant. The staff and servers were very attentive, polite, and helpful. The food was some of the best we had in a while!! Proportions are sized well, food isn’t oily, filling but light on the tummy, seasoned well, fresh ingredients.

M Miller: Juneberry is a great little place. We sat in a cozy booth, filled with lots of pillows. The server was friendly, and the food came out quick. We had the pancake, potato’s and the classic breakfast. Portions weren’t huge but they were just enough. Everything was really tasty, especially their house made sausage patties. The only thing to say is they have 1 bathroom, which is super inconvenient! Other than that, a great place to frequent!

Pauline Bistro Restaurant: what do users think?

Vivian: Beautiful restaurant - really love the decor and vibes here. The breakfast is simple, nothing super outstanding - if you’re looking something simple, this would be it.

Katie K: I had to call to find out how to get inside, to find out it's through the hotel lobby. Once in the lobby I was confused where to go due to lack of signs, and found it's a situation where they shared the same internal entrance with the Tavern.I found the atmosphere to be too dark considering it was breakfast/brunch. It was more of a dreary, sad atmosphere.Service was fast and attentive. It was spectacular there. All questions were answered. Even my concern that the meat was wrong was addressed, as it wasn't what I was expecting. My water was refilled and I was given my own glass bottle for refills. The omelette of the day I found to be bland and rubbery. This made me question if it was made fresh. Though it was huge portions, which was unexpected for the price, I simply couldn't get through it due to the lack of flavour and the unappealing look of the omelette.I intend to give the restaurant another try some day despite this first impression.

Alexandre Caron: . I think this place could do a "killing" selling their home brand jam in grocery super centers. The food was delicious. The bread is made from a local bakery. The portion VS the price was as per my expectation. Beautiful presentation of my dish. I recommend this place. The jam is homemade

Chaise Café & Lounge: what do users think?

T Eu: First time eating here and came for Sunday brunch. Choices were great and change weekly. You can get an order on the menu or choose the family style menu which we did. The menu comes with eggs sausages and bacon vegetables and whichever is the selection for the week. Unlimited refills! Then came dessert which was cheesecake and crumble. I ordered the coconut cappuccino and that was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was whimsical and inviting and lots of parking on the street that was free. The service was great!

Emily Hearn: We held my sister's small wedding reception at Chaise Café & Lounge, and every guest was delighted by the food and the atmosphere! The front of the building is stunning and makes a beautiful backdrop for dinner and/r photos. The rooms inside are the perfect setting for gatherings. Stacy's service was impeccable, and we were all extremely well fed and attended to. The Family Style Prix Fixe dinner meant everyone got to try some new things, and many guests were thrilled to find new favourites. I would highly recommend Chaise Café & Lounge for a solo meal, a date, or a group gathering.

Ben & Florentine: what do users think?

Scott Conley: I had bacon and carmalised apple eggs Benedict and my wife had the salmon lox ones that came with home fries potatoes and fresh fruit. Our youngest had the kids s’mores crepes and our teenager had chocolate banana crepes combo plate that was huge! We ended up giving some to our youngest and still had leftovers.Everything was tasty.Service was slow but there were I on two servers for the restaurant and it went from us being one of the first people there to having people waiting to get in.The server apologized but I told her it wasn’t her fault. Also had the bowl of cappuccino and it was good. The cocoa powder on top was a nice touch.Kid-friendliness: Decent kid options. Prices were ~$8

Lisa Kasdorf: Ben and Florentine’s is one of my favourite restaurants for breakfast/brunch. It is consistently very good for both food and service. The menu offers a large variety of delicious options, but I usually order the avocado toast with crumbled bacon and goat cheese or Eggs Benedict. On my most recent visit I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine, and it was very tasty! As per usual, a generous portion size was served hot, and the server was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience as usual! As for the atmosphere, aesthetics are fine, but it is usually packed to capacity which can make for a rather loud dining experience. I’m willing to overlook that though because the quality of the food and service is so good!

James Klaassen: As usual our server was great, the food was delicious, and we were seated very quickly. All the staff at Ben & Florentine are focused on providing their clients the best experience possible.01 Aug 2023I tried a different option for lunch today and it was as good as all the others that I have tried here. As always service was fantastic.

Innovative Ventures: Food was good service was a little slow could use improvement keep up the good work strive for a better customer experience

Michael Schultz: The food is amazing here! I love the skillets and my daughter loves the egg benedict! I wish the atmosphere felt more local and represented the local people that it serves. I realize it is an international company but still think that they could do more to represent the local people they serve. If the food wasn't so good I wouldn't go back.

Morgan P: was very kind, didn’t chitchat or try to upsell anything, he also left us alone and let us eat instead of continuously checking on us, which I appreciate.Ordered a side of cottage cheese and they give it to you is a little sauce container, definitely recommend they serve a little more of a side than that.Drink menu is limited, they don’t serve fountain drinks , only cans. Bottomless fountain drinks would be a bonus!Vegetarian options: There’s a few vegetarian versions of the options IE: skillets , omelettes, healthy optionsKid-friendliness: Kids menu, booths, plenty of kids attend so you don’t have to worry about disrupting anyone.Parking: Easily park, lots of parking a big parking lot

Cora Breakfast and Lunch: what do users think?

Jenn Lambert: We have been regular weekly customers for breakfast for some time and always enjoy the food, atmosphere and service. Between all in our group we’ve tried many menu items and often have a hard time deciding since everything has been delicious. I’d love to see a shredded hash brown option to the potatoes wedges, but those are fabulous too. Sylvie is our regular server and is always upbeat and friendly. We like the Cora card to collect points. Parking is always ample. Our go to breakfast spot😊Vegetarian options: Many options! Fresh fruit is always lovely.Kid-friendliness: Our kids are older but there are often younger kids there…they have a colouring activity, and we’ve always noticed how friendly and accommodating they are to small children. It’s a great place to go with kids and feel relaxed and know kids are so welcomed.

Brooke MacMillen: Great quality dishes, very unique menu which drew us in, we were informed all ingredients are localJumbalaya was phenomenal, so was the Mac n cheese, and in my opinion waffle and duck feature dish could use a few adjustments. the service we received was very good, one of the best service i’ve had at a restaurant.overall nice setting and nice local restaurant

Leanne Batenchuk: that it was a bit thick and dense so she took the top off and ate it with a fork and knife. I will go back for dinner some day soon.

Angel PG: If you are looking to support a local restaurant, this is the place to go! My friend and I like to try new places to eat and she mentioned this one, the bonus was that it was local. I'm going to start with my only downfall, it is not accessible. It's an older building so there are stairs to get up to the dining area, stairs to get to the washroom downstairs and stairs to get the patio outside. However, it is unique and beautiful inside! The tables are made from barn wood and were done in locally. They had a nice touch to the décor. I loved the jar of pickles on the top shelf that wrapped around part of the restaurant. The wonderful surprise was seeing the patio out back! So warm and inviting, as well as private. The service was wonderful! So friendly and knew the menu very well! You could tell they enjoyed working there and really supported the owner/chef. The menu had wonderful choices but was not overwhelming. The food was delicious and very enjoyable. I highly recommend this gem in our city of Winnipeg!

Kevin Turner: I recently visited BoND and have not stopped talking about it to friends and family since. The gentlemen who served us was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While there is no wrong choice on the menu, he helped my date and I pick a perfect meal and drink pairing. The food was outstanding! We both had to sample each others meals because they looked, smelled and tasted amazing. We finished off our dinner with two desserts that were a great mix of savory and sweet. The cherry on top on this incredible culinarily experience was knowing that everything is sourced locally, making it the perfect spot to support! I’ve already made plans to return with a close friend.

Shay: Honestly loved this place! First time going last night and I will be back. The food is delicious and the desserts fantastic! Their special of the evening was the wild flower risotto, either with wild mushrooms or duck, tho i got both. My only disappointment, there wasn't more of it. I also tried the cotton cake with homemade whipped cream, it was the best piece of cake I've had in a long time. The staff were great and Rich was super awesome. We had some great conversation with him and kept the laughs going all evening long. This place is indigenous owned which made my appeal to it that much higher. Can't wait to go back and try their brunch menu! Beautiful Beautiful place!

Rachel Rempel: I have come multiple times since discovering this fabulous place. The Lake and Steak on the dinner menu is perhaps one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had! Service is always fantastic, and the blend of Manitoba into classic comfort foods is done so uniquely and so well! Love coming back every chance I get.

sylvie landry: Went there a few weeks ago. Discovered this place by chance, we came for dessert a late Saturday. We had an event close by and wanted dessert. The waiter was so nice and explained to us the restaurant concept and how everything is local and indigenous own. The desserts were very good, their menu looked amazing, they have a nice small patio also. I had their Japanese cheesecake and I ordered to go home their bread pudding which was also delicious. My friends orders their licorice cake which at first I was like unsure because I dislike licorice but they gave me a bite and I was amaze at the taste. The iced coffee were also very good. The four of us had a great time that evening.

Chelsea Dutkiewich: AMAZING!! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place is so incredible that I have to! The restaurant is such a vibe, the staff made us feel right at home, and the food I don’t even have words for. It was so delicious that I woke up smiling after dreaming about it this morning. Every part of the dish was an experience on its own. I can’t wait to go back! If it’s not in your area, it’s worth the trip.

Ieza Lichauco: Superb service and amazing food! Loved our experience. Highly recommend!

Shawn Pflueger: Went for the wonderful Nutcracker High Tea. My partner booked the seats so I don't know if it's still available, but it was a great experience. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They have a special menu for the kids too which our young one loved. We even stole a few bites from each other.Extra surprise was the Santa sitting near the entrance. He was so still I accidentally mistook him for a statue initially. We of course got a family photo with jolly saint nick.Velvet Glove of course is great anytime. I'd be worried for my pocketbook if I worked downtown.

Liezl Calitis: it was not very busy - which was great for us!Aside from going to experience the high tea life, we were also sending off a friend who was moving and they were very accommodating and made that occassion very special. I would definitely go back to do it again! The hotel does have street parking, but they also have a parkade

Tal MacIsaac (Chantal): Parking: It is a free parking lot but it services many business in the strip mallDietary restrictions: During the visit there were two of us who are vegan and one who is gluten intolerant, both were easily accommodated!

Marina Havard (Marishinka): Edit. The salad use to be the best now meh. And the barley soup was slimy. Not worth it. The pancakes and the cafe breakfast are always the best option. Our first time in years, for this location. Looks gorgeous and the patio looked great. The water cup had marks on the cup. All stella’s Locations started serving small eggs. The pancakes weren’t as good as before. They were basic and definitely no vanilla in the mix. The chorizo hash was terrible. Like boiled hash. Needed so much hot sauce. The food has no quality standards left. I don’t even taste salt or pepper. The coffee was dinner coffee. All a skip.
