Jay Carriere: ;

Niko Matias: Recommended dishes Baked Camembert, Patatas Bravas Vegan

Louise Blanchard: I booked Cordova for the 10 year celebration of my business. After many meetings with other restaurants, I found Cordova. Kate was amazing to work with, helpful and enthusiastic. She was able to come up with a menu within our budget that was delicious and even made a custom cake for us! Everyone had a wonderful time at the event and commented on how good the food, atmosphere and service was for the evening! I will definitely be back in the future!

Marcel Blinde: Nice gem in that neighbourhood.Recommended dishes Roasted Corn Salad …

Paige: , the drinks were fun and yummy, and the food was AMAZING with big portions. We ordered the camembert and you get a whole cheese wheel and a loaf of sourdough! You must try the mussels. We will be back for sure :

The Oxbow Natural Wine Bar & Restaurant: what do users think?

KC M: The Arancini was shared and we substituted the risotto for a gluten-free one and it was still amazing! My friend ordered the tuna tataki and escargots. We tried the nonalcoholic homemade tonic & soda

Richard de Chevigny: Went on a date to Oxbow recently and I've got to say, we had a pretty good time overall! The place had a great atmosphere which, in my book, already gives it a solid 4 stars. When you walk in, you catch the vibe straight away. Now onto the service... our server for the night was on the ball, I mean super attentive! You could tell she really cared about having us there and making sure everything was on point, and it was. She was quick to refill our drinks, chatty, and had a smile. The food was tasty and cooked well, but I wouldn't call it exceptional given the price point. Don't get me wrong, it was good food, but I was hoping for a little something extra to justify the dent on my wallet. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Oxbow if you're looking for a place with great vibes and on-point service. The food serves well, but if you're eyeing the 'wow' factor in every bite for the price, it may not hit that mark. But hey, it's still a pretty good night out!"Remember, this is just my two cents! Cheers to good food and good times! 4 out of 5 stars.

Justin Caputi: .I mostly recently visited with my family and we tried 9-10 dishes that were incredibly delicious, paired with 2 wine selections, and we all left very satisfied with every aspect of our evening. The menu can also be enjoyed for people with Celiac disease, as many of the items are gluten-free or have great gluten-free substitutions. The kitchen staff were amazing with handling and creating our dish selections to ensure that everything was Celiac-friendly too.The atmosphere inside is a great spot for date night, to get some friends or family together, or even to enjoy a night out for some drinks. We didn't get to enjoy their outdoor patio, but it has been highly recommended and I can't wait to enjoy another night at Oxbow this summer!

Angie Turner: The staff were very knowledgable and friendly. The service was amazing, there were always staff stopping by to clear away dishes or to take drink orders. The food was amazing! I really appreciate that there was a seperate vegan menu and the dishes were so flavourful! You can tell effort was put into the menu to ensure the dishes were unique and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Can't wait to go back again!

Steffy Bee: Lovely, dog-friendly patio with an excellent selection of vegan dishes. Food was flavourful and the meal was paced appropriately. Service was great. Decent selection of alcoholic beverages, however would have enjoyed seeing some mocktails on the menu as well. Overall, 10/10.Dietary restrictions: Separate vegan menu.

David D: I have been wanting to try this place for a long while and finally was able to. Father’s Day and my daughter’s birthday together and this was the perfect place to celebrate. The server Misha was spectacular and made our night very nice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and then curated the order of the food coming out to make the meal progression perfect! We were on the patio and it was very nice. We did peek inside and I would say you can’t go wrong in either place. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food taste sensations were amazing and the prices very reasonable. Ended with a cappuccino that was perfectly crafted. Thanks to the team there for a wonderful evening!

MA J: Last time I was at Oxbow was probably over a year and a half ago, if not longer. Made a reservation here to come to celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary with my husband and it was so wonderful. I always love the ambiance of the place, the service is A plus and the food was so good. Only call it is I feel the burrata was missing a flaky sea salt or something, but it was still delightful. Loved my white cross mocktail. We also had the arancini, the potatas bravas, the schnitzel, and the carrots. Definitely was a lot of food but we were happy to take it home for leftovers the next day. Can't wait to go back and check out their patio this summer!

Tabula Rasa: what do users think?

Dana Robert: Staff super friendly and very knowledgeable of the delicious and fresh ingredients in all the dishes with all the amazing sauces and endless supply of baguettes yum 🤤 great service, the nice back ground music matched the atmosphere cool and eclectic!! Excellent experience!!

O'Neil: I enjoyed myself here the other night. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about products served. Food was plated well and tasty. Enjoyed a variety of dishes that we shared. Prices were reasonable for portions. Also cocktails were delicious and booze forward. Would recommend for a date night or get together.

M Sun: The speakeasy bar behind the hidden door will transport you to another time and place. The mixologist Jacob, has an incredible talent! I recommend asking him for something NOT on the menu, then stand back and watch this artist at work. The menu food items I looked at seemed under priced, I only had dessert today, but a very exquisite rhubarb Creme Brûlée.

Dionne Marcino: , flank steak, and meatballs. Everything was well executed and aside from personal preferences neither of us would have made any changes to the drinks or cocktails. They also have a patio along the side of the building set back from Osborne. It looked like it would be well sheltered from the noise and dust from traffic.

Vivian: Tabula Rasa has improved tremendously since my first visit. Back when they first open the food was terrible… but I decided to give it second chance - all the dishes were very good! I really enjoyed the Burrata, Octopus Carpaccio and Scallop Crudo. Service was also great & love the ambience.Recommended dishes Burrata Salad …

Emily Blackwood: to split between the 3 of us, cleared our plates, and left full, conent, and happily tipsy. The food was beautifully plated, carefully prepared, wonderfully balanced in flavour and texture

Justin Navarro: We didn't get a chance to get some food as it was pretty busy and we had to go somewhere but the cocktails were really good! The atmosphere was very chill and had a great vibe going on, our service Justice was amazing and bubbly! Would recommend you go and visit, definitely worth your while!

Deer + Almond: what do users think?

Dominic Angelo: barista at Little Sisters Coffee Maker recommended it, but I left feeling like I just had the best meal of 2023. Deer + Almond is perfect for a romantic evening or an occasion worth celebrating as there is no doubt you’ll leave beyond satisfied. I recommend the bone marrow w/chanterelles, goldeneye nigiri, beet agnolotti, and peanut semifreddo

Gail Horvath: Dining here was an experience I will remember for years. Every dish was unique, beautiful, and delicious. It felt like I was experiencing art. Four of us dined together on an evening where there was a fixed menu, and we shared so we could try every single dish on offer. Every dish was a joy. The chef made use of many local, in season ingredients and combined them masterfully. The server was warm, knowledgeable, and professional. This is not an intimidating fine dining experience - you will feel comfortable and relaxed and the chef may even come by to greet you. The fixed menu had more food than we could eat so we took some home. I recommend budgeting for a special dining experience here - it is good value for the effort put in by the Chef and staff and the wonderful ingredients. A Deer + Almond experience will not fade in your memory like other ordinary evenings at a chain restaurant.

Stephen Strike: 4 course options from the preset choices were all beautifully arranged and full of flavor.Smaller dishes in each but enough food by the last bite to satisfy the vast majority. The couple sample dishes could have easily been on the menu as options.Service was top-notch, providing a detailed outline of the ingredients of each dish and how it was prepared.Maybe a touch pricey, but the food was worth it and not the drinks. The only con I have is the atmosphere. Felt like eating in an old cafe and the amazing food was out of place. It's definitely worth a try.

PAMN: Really an outstanding restaurant! The service is awesome because they give you a wine tasting and also intricately explain the items you are ordering from the dining experience menu. Valpolicella Superiore and Deer Carpaccio are match made in heaven; it was my first time having a deer dish that too in carpaccio form - loved it and it was my favourite 😻 from the menu! Green Pappardelle was soft and tasty with a flavour bomb in that fiery chilli oil, wow 🤩🔥 Pork Schnitzel and Honey Custard had nice presentation but tastes ok compared to the first two dishes!! The restaurant is extremely hygienic and tip top with a casual ambience Palette cleanser served at the end and complimentary starter received were also good 😌Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options also available on the menu!Dietary restrictions: They do ask whether you have any allergies!

Harth Mozza & Wine Bar: what do users think?

Vasana Sith: Their beef tartare is one of the top 3 in the city. The mussels are the best I’ve ever had but sadly are not always on the menu. You can’t go wrong with ordering anything from here. Service is always fantastic and the atmosphere is just great vibes. The only thing I will say can be a downside is that their food is on the saltier side-and I’m someone that likes saltier foods.

Leslie B: The ambiance is perfect. The food is amazing! The service is awesome! That pasta dish was very smooth, so good, Mama mia 🏾 🏾 🏾The only thing that needs improvement is the steak knife. They gave us steak knives for the pizza. My butter knife at home is sharper than that knife. The server told us that it was the sharpest knife they had. It was a real struggle trying to cut that pizza. The table was literally shaking while trying to cut the pizza. lol im bringing my knife next time 😊the lounge is quieter than the dining area. The tables in the lounge are round & small. You can barely fit 2 plates on there. The server had to add another table because there was no room for the 3rd plate even though there were just 2 of us.The server knew the menu & explained it very well . Thanks, Amanda👏🏾👏🏾I will be back, but this time with a sharper knife 🔪

David Kovacs: Recommended dishes Duck Pasta

Jessie Tyler: Phenomenal food

Sous Sol: what do users think?

Alex F: Sous Soul is Ultra Nostalgia. If you grew up in the 80s this place is like your mom's house in the best way.Jurassic park and Disney on VHS, 80s music on the playlist. Doilies, candles, taxidermy, crosstitch. If this is your childhood then this is Your Soul. The waitresses treat you like family and I believe that's by design. This casualness from the staff helps you feel like you're at a family dinner. The menu was delicious, like an elevated take on a first generation European immigrant's favorite staples.Boar chops, duck and beans, zucchini, cabbage, and gnocchi. The theme is apparent, clear, and well executed.I felt transported back into a childhood I never personally experienced. The only exception to the theme is the cocktail menu which definately has a more modern twist.Overall very impressed with this dark little speak easy.

Melissa Chung-Mowat: First time at Sous Sol. Atmosphere was awesome...loved the speak easy vibes and the food was great. Really loved the oysters to start and creme brulee to finish but all of it was delicious.I didn't give 5 stars across the board because the mocktails were very underwhelming. I was anticipating a fancy drink in a small, dainty glass to go along with the vibes. But both mocktails came in large tumbler kind of glasses with paper straws and there wasn't anything special about them. Would be nice if they upped their mocktail game!

Reid: Favorite restaurant in the city, also my favorite cocktail bar, in the same place!

Little Nana's Italian Kitchen: what do users think?

Hogan Mullally: Great food. Generous portions.

Kuba L: I absolutely loved this place! The moment I walked in I felt very welcome, the waitress was so welcoming and I immediately loved the atmosphere. I had an amazing time here and loved the food! The portions were very generous and the food was delicious! I will make sure to come back here before I leave Winnipeg. Everything about this place was great from the atmosphere to the food to the service. I recommend anyone who finds themselves in Winnipeg should try this place! Loved it!

Sophie Brown: Fantastic hidden gem off of notre dame. Our table had the burrata, arancini, calamari and many of the seafood pastas and every single one of the dishes were to die for. Generous portions for a fair price. The limoncello at the end is a nice touch. Our waitress was amazing, and even memorized our entire table of 8’s order which was outstanding. It did seem quite understaffed, but regardless she did an amazing job. Would highly recommend and return!

Brian Hiebert: This was our second trip to Nana's. Our first was around a year ago, and was great. On this trip the food was also excellent, and the service was impeccable. The only two concerns were around the charcuterie board, which contained a nice selection of meats and pickles, but only one kind of hard, VERY strong cheese. Second was that the interior needs some attention. Many of the seats are now worn out and torn and in desperate need of repair, and the clear glass lampshades above every table are very dirty. When you choose to have clear glass shades, you have to clean them almost daily.

Jepppy: Bit the bullet and ordered takeout from this restaurant, I always believe you jeopardize your food quality when you order takeout from a restaurant.I was so wrong on the food quality after getting home, food was delicious, portions were nice and the spaghetti carbonara, I never tasted anything like that before.Grate taste, everything tasted so fresh. Will be back, probably tomorrow. 👍

Kait Evinger: highly recommend! We had the osso buca, which was our favourite, cooked to perfection served with a savoury mushroom pasta. The insalata was fresh and bright with a really funky gargonzolla bite. Bread, along with everything else, is made in house and served with a quality aged balsamic vinegar and XVOO. The sauce with the appetizer meatballs was to die for, rich and layered flavours but not overpowering. There is a a serious sauce chef there, as the mussels also came with a fabulous one. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is surprisingly modern with each table having it's own alcove, providing for an intimate setting. Be warned though, portions are enormous! Little Nana's will not disappoint.

Fred Harris: Such a lovely little place, and our server Natalia could not have been more welcoming, pleasant, & accommodating. Servings were huge. The light breading on the calamari, hot banana pepper, and zucchini appie served with a bright lemon cream sauce was a perfect starter! The fired up wheel of parmesan became affectionately known as the Cheese Wheel of Death... Picture a table side flaming ladle poured into a concaved bowl hollowed out wheel of parmesan... Now, picture the fettuccini with mushroom and bacon being tossed in all that melty goodness! Oh yeah... pictures! Plus, I came home with two or 3 more servings of the stroganoff style, broad noodle porc ribs, and some leftover spaghetti! Definitely, a return visit in my future.Parking: Across the street, Indigo parking

Roger Hopper: Fantastic little Italian joint! Flavorful and authentic food, and great service! Bread with dipping oil is to die for, some of the best we've had. Nana's salad also very nice. Braised beef entree looked and smelled so good we started to split it between our plates before taking the picture! Huge portion sizes, as this place is known for and as our pictures illustrate. Espresso cheesecake for dessert was decadent, and little limoncello digestifs with it were a very nice touch. A must-visit if you are visiting Manitoba!

James Ave Pumphouse Food & Drink: what do users think?

Seth Franklin (Franko): I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Pump House for a bachelor party dinner. Roy and Ally, the supervisors, truly went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. The food was exceptional, with standout items like the California club sandwich that boasted a delightful twist with roasted garlic mayo and avocado crema. The curly fries were a perfect pairing, offering a delicious departure from the ordinary. The attentive service and flavorful offerings made for an unforgettable evening. Five stars for an amazing job!

Steve Blackburn: who said she’d be right with us. Moments later greeted by a hostess who went to prepare a table for us

Christina Chan: . We were having such a great time that we didn't realize we closed them down.Highly HIGHLY recommend the pierogy. And I mean one pierogy...the size of a platter and covered in smoked sausage and grilled onions omg so good.

Obed Carrillo G: This is certainly a very eye-catching place to have a meal! The backdrop with all the pumping mechanisms adds a charm to the establishment for sure.I had the glazed salmon bowl while my boyfriend got the braised tacos. My salmon bowl while a bit pricier was very well put-together, filling and well-balanced.The braised tacos were served in an order of three and came with a side of birria broth as a dip. For me, the tacos were a bit sour and slightly pungent in flavour. So they were not what I was used to.My boyfriend liked them.

Dylan Silver: Had the chicken schnitzel and the mussels and both were amazing. Very cool location as well.Vegetarian options: They have a whole separate vegetarian vegan menu

Nola: what do users think?

Joelle Kindret: I am cackling reading the bad reviews because it truly reads "WINNIPEG CHEAPSKATE".Let me assure you, reader, that every item on the menu at this restaurant is a masterpiece. The level of care and attention given to each dish, whether appetizer, entree or dessert, is remarkable. Every serving is crafted with meticulous detail and genuine care, resulting in a dining experience that is nothing short of perfect.Mike, Emily, and their hard working team have put careful thought into creating an amazing lineup of deeeeeeelicious food and beverage pairings, featuring both amazing wines and cocktails. The menu at Nola offers a wide variety of incredible food options to choose from. If you happen to leave the restaurant hungry, it's not because the portion sizes are small, but simply that you opted to skimp on your night out.

S.L. T: Have been here a couple times, all meals sooo so so good. Eat so much you are waddling out cause you can't stop. Last time I went though, I asked about a cocktail and if it were smoky as one of the ingredients seemed like it was something with that sort of flavour. It wasn't mezcal because I know it's not my thing and I would have stayed away. The waitress told me a bit unconfidently, as if thinking really hard about it, that it wasn't, so I ordered it and thought nothing of it. It turned out yes to be quite smoky and so I just traded drinks with my friend across the table and didn't say anything because it wasn't a big deal. But I would have preferred her to just go ask! But all other experiences have been great minus that 1 minor thing.

PC: What a fantastic spot. Amazing food, great customer service. I love the atmosphere. I'm just upset that I didn't come here sooner.I'll definitely be back soon, again!

Paul K: and the air conditioning inside could not keep up. We sat beside the thermostat and it said 80F! Thank you for a great evening!

Hazel “Yenchagirl” GS: A unique, delicious menu. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. It is hard to find a restaurant to have lunch when you are Gluten Free and your friend is not. Many menu items were easily adapted to my needs. It was a refreshing change. I had chicken karaage over a delicious slaw. Great service, wonderful food.Dietary restrictions: Many items are easily made gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer 🙂
