Jacob Rempel: Food is always delicious. Traditional native flavours fused into north American cuisine.Staff is super friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcomingParking: Lots of street parking alongside the buildingWheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to move aroundDietary restrictions: They will adjust their menu for you with a smile

Doreen Stroud: Delicious food. Staff was friendly.

KB Bastt: !Food: 5/5 …

estelle méthot: The bison burger was very good

Kyle Register: I loved this place so much. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. The one server was taking care of like 10 tables, and she ROCKED it ... very impressive. For dinner I had the bison short rib with the bone-in which came over potatoes and vegetables with bannock. NOTE: this was my first time in Manitoba, and I Googled "local foods" and learned about bannock. This is why I even found this place! The short rib was very tender and flavorful. I didn't love that it had a bbq sauce flavor, but it was still great. The bannock with butter was SOOOOO good. I wish I would have had more even though I was already full.Check it out, Winnipeg!

Kristina Elkins: Every dish I had here has been amazing! I've tried a few bannock pizzas, chicken sandwich, and some fish dishes and they were all stand out. I especially loved the poutine!!! It's a great price for great food. I highly recommend trying this bistro if you have not already done so. I'll definitely be back and excited to try new food items since it seems like the menu may change occasionally.Vegetarian options: There was a curry for vegan option.

Bonfire Bistro: what do users think?

Stephen Klassen: We have dined at Bonfire many times and have never been disappointed. They have a large and loyal clientele for a reason. Everything about the experience is excellent. Being "foodies" and having dined all over the world makes us somewhat of experts. Currently, my favorite dish is the Manitoba chicken. Very unique and wholesome. Service is superior, and dishes have just the right flavors.

Pauline Bistro Restaurant: what do users think?

Vivian: Beautiful restaurant - really love the decor and vibes here. The breakfast is simple, nothing super outstanding - if you’re looking something simple, this would be it.

Katie K: I had to call to find out how to get inside, to find out it's through the hotel lobby. Once in the lobby I was confused where to go due to lack of signs, and found it's a situation where they shared the same internal entrance with the Tavern.I found the atmosphere to be too dark considering it was breakfast/brunch. It was more of a dreary, sad atmosphere.Service was fast and attentive. It was spectacular there. All questions were answered. Even my concern that the meat was wrong was addressed, as it wasn't what I was expecting. My water was refilled and I was given my own glass bottle for refills. The omelette of the day I found to be bland and rubbery. This made me question if it was made fresh. Though it was huge portions, which was unexpected for the price, I simply couldn't get through it due to the lack of flavour and the unappealing look of the omelette.I intend to give the restaurant another try some day despite this first impression.

Alexandre Caron: . I think this place could do a "killing" selling their home brand jam in grocery super centers. The food was delicious. The bread is made from a local bakery. The portion VS the price was as per my expectation. Beautiful presentation of my dish. I recommend this place. The jam is homemade

Jay Cee: Just far from city center, closet to the air sport. Worth the trip though. Spacious with accommodating and friendly staff. I had calamari , bacon and cheese burger with vegetable salad. Their coffee is not good though.

KCB: Nice bar - food quality was excellent. It is a bit pricey, but absolutely worth the few extra dollars. Best calamari I have ever had. Service was also excellent. Hidden gem.

NM: Great service and food selections. A quiet place that is great for business meetings and rendezvous.

Wai Chan: We did the fried chicken $15, fish and chips $18 and a avocado bacon chicken sandwich $16 with the French onion soup

Bistro on Notre Dame: what do users think?

Brooke MacMillen: Great quality dishes, very unique menu which drew us in, we were informed all ingredients are localJumbalaya was phenomenal, so was the Mac n cheese, and in my opinion waffle and duck feature dish could use a few adjustments. the service we received was very good, one of the best service i’ve had at a restaurant.overall nice setting and nice local restaurant

Leanne Batenchuk: that it was a bit thick and dense so she took the top off and ate it with a fork and knife. I will go back for dinner some day soon.

Angel PG: If you are looking to support a local restaurant, this is the place to go! My friend and I like to try new places to eat and she mentioned this one, the bonus was that it was local. I'm going to start with my only downfall, it is not accessible. It's an older building so there are stairs to get up to the dining area, stairs to get to the washroom downstairs and stairs to get the patio outside. However, it is unique and beautiful inside! The tables are made from barn wood and were done in locally. They had a nice touch to the décor. I loved the jar of pickles on the top shelf that wrapped around part of the restaurant. The wonderful surprise was seeing the patio out back! So warm and inviting, as well as private. The service was wonderful! So friendly and knew the menu very well! You could tell they enjoyed working there and really supported the owner/chef. The menu had wonderful choices but was not overwhelming. The food was delicious and very enjoyable. I highly recommend this gem in our city of Winnipeg!

Kevin Turner: I recently visited BoND and have not stopped talking about it to friends and family since. The gentlemen who served us was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While there is no wrong choice on the menu, he helped my date and I pick a perfect meal and drink pairing. The food was outstanding! We both had to sample each others meals because they looked, smelled and tasted amazing. We finished off our dinner with two desserts that were a great mix of savory and sweet. The cherry on top on this incredible culinarily experience was knowing that everything is sourced locally, making it the perfect spot to support! I’ve already made plans to return with a close friend.

Shay: Honestly loved this place! First time going last night and I will be back. The food is delicious and the desserts fantastic! Their special of the evening was the wild flower risotto, either with wild mushrooms or duck, tho i got both. My only disappointment, there wasn't more of it. I also tried the cotton cake with homemade whipped cream, it was the best piece of cake I've had in a long time. The staff were great and Rich was super awesome. We had some great conversation with him and kept the laughs going all evening long. This place is indigenous owned which made my appeal to it that much higher. Can't wait to go back and try their brunch menu! Beautiful Beautiful place!

Rachel Rempel: I have come multiple times since discovering this fabulous place. The Lake and Steak on the dinner menu is perhaps one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had! Service is always fantastic, and the blend of Manitoba into classic comfort foods is done so uniquely and so well! Love coming back every chance I get.

sylvie landry: Went there a few weeks ago. Discovered this place by chance, we came for dessert a late Saturday. We had an event close by and wanted dessert. The waiter was so nice and explained to us the restaurant concept and how everything is local and indigenous own. The desserts were very good, their menu looked amazing, they have a nice small patio also. I had their Japanese cheesecake and I ordered to go home their bread pudding which was also delicious. My friends orders their licorice cake which at first I was like unsure because I dislike licorice but they gave me a bite and I was amaze at the taste. The iced coffee were also very good. The four of us had a great time that evening.

Chelsea Dutkiewich: AMAZING!! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place is so incredible that I have to! The restaurant is such a vibe, the staff made us feel right at home, and the food I don’t even have words for. It was so delicious that I woke up smiling after dreaming about it this morning. Every part of the dish was an experience on its own. I can’t wait to go back! If it’s not in your area, it’s worth the trip.

Ieza Lichauco: Superb service and amazing food! Loved our experience. Highly recommend!

Anika Maria: is such a delight to chat with. He takes such passion in his craft, it resonates in the food. 💯 recommended.

Bob Smith: I should have reviewed this place years ago! I have had everything on the menu here and it’s all amazing. There is no other dining establishment in the city I can say that about. Today was a chicken shawarma and falafel. The falafel was a first today and it is the best I have ever had. The owner is such a friendly and great man, always looks to make sure you are enjoying his food and you can tell he has spent a lifetime putting his love into perfecting his food. He has a cookbook that’s called Good Mood Food. Buy it, his food is just that good mood, and healthy food!

Imtiyaz Ahmed: Good Lebanese cuisine

Anisa Adam: I used to order shawarma and fries from here and I’ve never had a tastier shawarma ever since. I left Winnipeg almost 2 years ago I’m writing this review feeling so nostalgic. If I ever decide to visit or move back to Winnipeg, this place is the first place I’d stop by to dine and enjoy

Charlie Cabungcal: Our first visit was a success today. Friendly staff and the shawarma dishes we ordered were delicious. Will definitely be coming back and trying the rest of their menu.

Rose Hull: This place is beyond words.. George is the ultimate host...as he cooks he greets u..so friendly and genuine..His food is original recipes..plentiful, TASTY..super healthy..I bought his cookbook...A true gentleman who absolutely loves what he does. His food is love..his passion..If there is anyplace I'd recommend to visit,it's here..Vegans will love it too..George will blow u away with his hospitality..The lunch special for two,is more than enough food for two..and healthy..YOU must try it..you won't be disappointed..go early because he is so busy with take out he may run out of food..for which he will apologize for ..George is an amazing business owner..

Rae's Bistro: what do users think?

T Rhodes: We had a pasta filled with spinach, mushrooms, crab and scallops, charmingly named "There's No Need to be so Crabby", as well as a poke tuna bowl, which was marinated in a chipotle vinaigrette, nestled in a bed of coconut rice and surrounded by julienne-cut vegetables and an avocado.I have no idea from where or whom the chef sources the seafood, but everything was as enticingly fresh and flavorful as it could possibly be in the landlocked heart of the prairie. The service from our hostess and server was professional and unobtrusive, and our server was full of useful information.Music was a bit loud, as was the conversation in a restaurant filled close to capacity at 1800h on a Thursday, but the energy was palpable and everyone everywhere seemed to be enjoying themselves.Compared to the closest competitor, Jonesy's Restaurant in nearby Birds Hill, Rae's Bistro has a demographic that skews a little younger, a bit hipper, and less desperate to impress, well, the Joneses. Upscale but not pretentious, the ambiance, staff and food combined make a killer combination.Rae's cuisine is prepared by a team of chefs possessed of a astounding passion and creative vision, whereas Jonesy's is just a pretty good local food stop. The whole vibe reminded me of one of those unexpected delights you find in Los Angeles; an unassuming little joint in a suburban strip mall with a cuisine so good it expands your palate as it blows your mind.

Bev Dziedzic: We decided to go for lunch,We live in the area but have never got to this restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with the way everything was explained to us,The drinks were great and the food was delicious. My daughter is from Dallas and was very impressed.Great place…We will be back

Jaki Lysak: Met a friend for supper. The service was excellent. The servers were very polite , friendly and professional. There was a slight issue with my meal. They fixed it up so quickly and no hassles. The food was so tasty, the portion sizes were awesome.I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to go to a local restaurant, have a great time, excellent food , great service and definitely great value for your $$.I will definitely be back..Thanks JakiVegetarian options: Very definitely offer vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: My friend has food allergies, the staff was very knowledgeable about the products they served and how they were made.

Natashia Viselli: My husband and I and our friends went to Rae's for the first time last night to celebrate my birthday. Our entire experience from start to finish was incredible. Staff is attentive and courteous offering suggestions. The food was beyond fantastic; to say it was delicious is an understatement. My husband could not rave about the burger enough! Portions are incredibly generous, you will not leave hungry - you'll probably leave with leftovers! Our first visit will not be our last!
