Bonfire Bistro: what do users think?

Stephen Klassen: We have dined at Bonfire many times and have never been disappointed. They have a large and loyal clientele for a reason. Everything about the experience is excellent. Being "foodies" and having dined all over the world makes us somewhat of experts. Currently, my favorite dish is the Manitoba chicken. Very unique and wholesome. Service is superior, and dishes have just the right flavors.

Preservation Hall Eatery + Wine Bar: what do users think?

Brad Rich: Terrific burger week burger!Popped in at noon today and we were in a little bit of a rush and Preservation Hall was able to accommodate us and we were out by 12:50 - much appreciated! I really enjoyed a couple of the Kilter New England IPAs on tap. All 4 of us had the exceptional “Burger Week” burger, fries are outstanding and the house made bread is simply spectacular.

Arlene Ebora: Lovely food and service for us first time diners. Greeted pleasantly at the door, starter bread served, drinks came on time, starters followed, and then entrees came on time. We ordered butter lettuce salad, beef tartare, duck confit and buttermilk fried chicken. Water got filled the whole time. To-go box packed for us. It was flawless service and a perfect Friday night.Thank you.

sylvie landry: The drink was good. The food menu was amazing, we did not know what to choose at all

Justin Ness: First time going to this place. To start there was lots of parking; there should be no issues with that. The inside is very open and they have the option of eating inside or on the patio. Service was really good. The gentlemen that served us was pouring drinks and very attentive and patient throughout the whole sitting. I got the escargot for an appetizer which was really good. They also brought out some bread that according to the waiter was made in house and they seem to change up the type of bread as the couple that we went with noticed it was different bread. My partner got the fish and chips and said the bater was a little soft but other than that was quite good. I got the brisket which was glazed with a peach bourbon sauce and that was really nice. The price of the products is a little high but this is a “fancy place”. Probably a tier under the keg I would say. Overall would probably dine here again and a good first experience. Check it out for yourselves!Parking: In a plaza of restaurants so there’s plenty of parking.

T Eu: We came for oyster night which was well worth it on its own. We were able to come in as a walk in but make sure you do a reservation cause it does get packed on Wednesday for this special. We ordered 1/2 a charcuterie board and cheese, sous vide buttermilk fried chicken, avacado dip and all comes with house bread. The chocolate mousse was great! Lots of parking and family friendly.Vegetarian options: Not a set menu for vegetarians but customizable and there are some options. We ordered the avacado dip and it was ok but the pita that came with was great.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurantParking: Tons of spots

Loc Lu: We went here just to try it out. I didn’t have high expectations just because of other experiences at restaurants lately. This place is definitely worth a visit. Friendly service, great drink options, tasty food with big portions, very wallet friendly prices. Overall this place was a breath of fresh air. We will be returning soon and recommending to our friends.

TheZomberry: and the servers were very friendly and attentive. Will eat here again soon!

Colleen Renaud: . The meats are all made there and were pretty good. Didn't enjoy the pickles or the chicken liver mousse, but the bread with the meat was very good. Beautiful decor, nice bar area.

Marilyn Kowalchuk: We finally returned to have dinner and had a great experience on Canada Day. Colin, our waiter was friendly and attentive even though he was busy looking after many other tables. I started with the oysters which are always fresh. Then we shared the Seafood Croquettes which had a great texture and mild flavor. Then we ordered the Dry Cajun Ribs and the Beet Gnocchi. The ribs were the best I've had and the Gnocchi were as soft and fluffy as a feather. It was great to pair those two dishes together. We finished with the Lemon Tart which was a great finish to a fantastic meal. I forgot to mention that I had the Coconut Mango Margarita that had great flavors and I would definitely come back soon and order one with our next visit here. We have never been disappointed at Preservation Hall. The food and service is top notch.

Kim Bamburak: Went forLunch with a couple of friends and we throughly enjoyed the patio on Roblin. The owner Greg, who is a gem, chatted with us and made sure we were taken care of. We had a couple of salads and fish and chips and all were delish!!!Highly recommend their Nicoise Salad. The tuna is perfection.

The Oxbow Natural Wine Bar & Restaurant: what do users think?

KC M: The Arancini was shared and we substituted the risotto for a gluten-free one and it was still amazing! My friend ordered the tuna tataki and escargots. We tried the nonalcoholic homemade tonic & soda

Richard de Chevigny: Went on a date to Oxbow recently and I've got to say, we had a pretty good time overall! The place had a great atmosphere which, in my book, already gives it a solid 4 stars. When you walk in, you catch the vibe straight away. Now onto the service... our server for the night was on the ball, I mean super attentive! You could tell she really cared about having us there and making sure everything was on point, and it was. She was quick to refill our drinks, chatty, and had a smile. The food was tasty and cooked well, but I wouldn't call it exceptional given the price point. Don't get me wrong, it was good food, but I was hoping for a little something extra to justify the dent on my wallet. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Oxbow if you're looking for a place with great vibes and on-point service. The food serves well, but if you're eyeing the 'wow' factor in every bite for the price, it may not hit that mark. But hey, it's still a pretty good night out!"Remember, this is just my two cents! Cheers to good food and good times! 4 out of 5 stars.

Justin Caputi: .I mostly recently visited with my family and we tried 9-10 dishes that were incredibly delicious, paired with 2 wine selections, and we all left very satisfied with every aspect of our evening. The menu can also be enjoyed for people with Celiac disease, as many of the items are gluten-free or have great gluten-free substitutions. The kitchen staff were amazing with handling and creating our dish selections to ensure that everything was Celiac-friendly too.The atmosphere inside is a great spot for date night, to get some friends or family together, or even to enjoy a night out for some drinks. We didn't get to enjoy their outdoor patio, but it has been highly recommended and I can't wait to enjoy another night at Oxbow this summer!

Angie Turner: The staff were very knowledgable and friendly. The service was amazing, there were always staff stopping by to clear away dishes or to take drink orders. The food was amazing! I really appreciate that there was a seperate vegan menu and the dishes were so flavourful! You can tell effort was put into the menu to ensure the dishes were unique and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Can't wait to go back again!

Steffy Bee: Lovely, dog-friendly patio with an excellent selection of vegan dishes. Food was flavourful and the meal was paced appropriately. Service was great. Decent selection of alcoholic beverages, however would have enjoyed seeing some mocktails on the menu as well. Overall, 10/10.Dietary restrictions: Separate vegan menu.

David D: I have been wanting to try this place for a long while and finally was able to. Father’s Day and my daughter’s birthday together and this was the perfect place to celebrate. The server Misha was spectacular and made our night very nice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and then curated the order of the food coming out to make the meal progression perfect! We were on the patio and it was very nice. We did peek inside and I would say you can’t go wrong in either place. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food taste sensations were amazing and the prices very reasonable. Ended with a cappuccino that was perfectly crafted. Thanks to the team there for a wonderful evening!

MA J: Last time I was at Oxbow was probably over a year and a half ago, if not longer. Made a reservation here to come to celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary with my husband and it was so wonderful. I always love the ambiance of the place, the service is A plus and the food was so good. Only call it is I feel the burrata was missing a flaky sea salt or something, but it was still delightful. Loved my white cross mocktail. We also had the arancini, the potatas bravas, the schnitzel, and the carrots. Definitely was a lot of food but we were happy to take it home for leftovers the next day. Can't wait to go back and check out their patio this summer!

Anika Maria: is such a delight to chat with. He takes such passion in his craft, it resonates in the food. 💯 recommended.

Bob Smith: I should have reviewed this place years ago! I have had everything on the menu here and it’s all amazing. There is no other dining establishment in the city I can say that about. Today was a chicken shawarma and falafel. The falafel was a first today and it is the best I have ever had. The owner is such a friendly and great man, always looks to make sure you are enjoying his food and you can tell he has spent a lifetime putting his love into perfecting his food. He has a cookbook that’s called Good Mood Food. Buy it, his food is just that good mood, and healthy food!

Imtiyaz Ahmed: Good Lebanese cuisine

Anisa Adam: I used to order shawarma and fries from here and I’ve never had a tastier shawarma ever since. I left Winnipeg almost 2 years ago I’m writing this review feeling so nostalgic. If I ever decide to visit or move back to Winnipeg, this place is the first place I’d stop by to dine and enjoy

Charlie Cabungcal: Our first visit was a success today. Friendly staff and the shawarma dishes we ordered were delicious. Will definitely be coming back and trying the rest of their menu.

Rose Hull: This place is beyond words.. George is the ultimate host...as he cooks he greets u..so friendly and genuine..His food is original recipes..plentiful, TASTY..super healthy..I bought his cookbook...A true gentleman who absolutely loves what he does. His food is love..his passion..If there is anyplace I'd recommend to visit,it's here..Vegans will love it too..George will blow u away with his hospitality..The lunch special for two,is more than enough food for two..and healthy..YOU must try it..you won't be disappointed..go early because he is so busy with take out he may run out of food..for which he will apologize for ..George is an amazing business owner..

Kris: Convenient and meets the bar. I had the avo toast and it was good. The ingredients tasted and appeared to be of good quality. Good sourdough bread and ripe avocado. The service was also very good and attentive. The menu isn’t very big but good variety overall. They gave me a coffee to go at no charge which is nice!

Queen Bee: Service and food were fantastic. Clubhouse was especially good.

Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery: what do users think?

Crumpnpump: I'll preface the review by stating if I reviewed Brazen Hall in 2022 it would be a solid 5 stars after eating at this location multiple times. However, with that being said the 2023 experience is vastly inferior. I ordered two award winning burgers the Krakow and the Classy Viking on separate occasions. The Krakow had a sour flavor from the pickled red cabbage and was unfortunately the predominate flavor of the burger overshadowing the rest of the flavor profile. The Classy Viking while also pretty good was missing the crispy part in the onions and thus were very sad and squishy. Additionally, the burger was missing the subtle sweet flavor in the mustard chow chow blend that previously brought all the flavors together. The sides that came with the burgers were polar opposites with the cauliflower cheese soup being outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The beet salad was borderline inedible due to the overwhelming sourness of the red wine vinaigrette and the almost complete absence of the sweetness from the beets as well as almost no goat cheese and wasabi peas.Additionally, I ordered the Prickly Dillemma poutine which was absolutely fabulous and was easily the best item ordered this year. The flavors were great, really allowing the dill pickle flavor to shine utilizing a subtle sweet and smoky flavor from the candied bacon as well as a gentle spice from the chipotle hollandaise gravy to compliment the dill pickle flavor. Only gripe I had with the dish is it contained multiple full unground black pepper corns throughout which added a nice flavor however the tooth jarring impact of biting into one was not pleasant. The craft beer selection and quality is top notch. Also very reasonable prices on their draft beer. I do not think you could go wrong with any of the beers on tap. Easy 5/5 on the craft beers. If you are for some reason one of those people who only go to restaurants with a high emphasis on service expectations I guess you wont be disappointed as the service at Brazen Hall was really good. Friendly wait staff who knew the specials on hand and gave ample customer space while also ensuring you always had a full beverage.Overall recommend the location reasonably priced and food is good though if you have taste buds a far cry from spectacular.

Erik F.: Had a pint of Raspy the Red Beard which was really enjoyable paired with the trio of Brisket Tacos which were also delicious.Great service.

Vivian: Beautiful restaurant - really love the decor and vibes here. The breakfast is simple, nothing super outstanding - if you’re looking something simple, this would be it.

Katie K: I had to call to find out how to get inside, to find out it's through the hotel lobby. Once in the lobby I was confused where to go due to lack of signs, and found it's a situation where they shared the same internal entrance with the Tavern.I found the atmosphere to be too dark considering it was breakfast/brunch. It was more of a dreary, sad atmosphere.Service was fast and attentive. It was spectacular there. All questions were answered. Even my concern that the meat was wrong was addressed, as it wasn't what I was expecting. My water was refilled and I was given my own glass bottle for refills. The omelette of the day I found to be bland and rubbery. This made me question if it was made fresh. Though it was huge portions, which was unexpected for the price, I simply couldn't get through it due to the lack of flavour and the unappealing look of the omelette.I intend to give the restaurant another try some day despite this first impression.

Alexandre Caron: . I think this place could do a "killing" selling their home brand jam in grocery super centers. The food was delicious. The bread is made from a local bakery. The portion VS the price was as per my expectation. Beautiful presentation of my dish. I recommend this place. The jam is homemade

Wai Chan: Initial visitThey were very accommodating and friendly.I did not make it up to the main dining area as I believe there was a party going on, but we ate in the lounge instead. We went for poutine week. Toscana Meatball Poutine. It was a good poutine, but we were thrown off by the aromatic basil that they used as a garnish. The actual poutine did not carry that flavor which was a shame, because it seemed to go very well with it. The fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked. Our favorite part was the meatball, but which we could eat seperately.Service 5 🌟Ambiance 4 🌟Food 3.5 🌟We gave this a 4 star with hopes of returning to see their other offerings.

J (J): Was alot or fun! Food was good, place was beautiful but was only able to find 2 appetizers throughout the whole event and was pretty excited to get me some more of them! Was cut off too soon

Nonsuch Brewing Co.: what do users think?

Dee and Bob Fenton: This place was divided into different sections which were all very distinctively decorated. The food was excellent and service attentive. A great experience was had by all.Vegetarian options: Lovely cucumber salad.

Breyleigh Gegelman: Brews were good! Great vibe and atmosphere.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Lydia Collin: Wonderful atmosphere and food. I left an expensive pair of sunglasses at the restaurant and called after them the next afternoon. The staff had them set aside and ready for me. I appreciate the honesty and integrity.Service: 5/5 …

Sab Putman: hands down the best brewery I've ever been to! and we have been to a lot!the restaurant is super cool, and is decorated so so incredibly. has real underground speak easy lounge vibes. it is physically and emotionally comfortable. it's like sitting at home and having a beer, except there is better beer nd food here!the lunch for 2 was a little pricey, but after eating it, it was well worth the money. the homemade kettle chips came in a literal mountain, with really tasty dipwith it.the beers were so good! we tried 4 beers and they were all to die for.the burgers were super great, we had the chicken burger and the le burger. both cooked so well, and the homemade pickles added in is the way to go!we would have had desert and stayed for hours if we had the time!highly recommend!!

Aaron Duncanson: Came here for the first time today, have been drinking their beers for a few years now and thought it was time to check the place out. The service was fantastic, and I have to give a special thanks to Brett. He gave great recommendations, and made us feel very welcome throughout our whole experience. Will most definitely be back.

IsaOfTerror: . Not busy at all, so service was prompt. Ordered the lunch for two with the fried chicken sandwich and the chips avec dip. Huge portion of chips with a really tasty dip. Fried chicken sandwich was nice and juicy and the toppings really complimented the sandwich. My friend and I really enjoyed our meals. Will definitely be back to try some of the beers on tap other than what came Included with the meal. Overall fair price for the quality of the food. A nice little hidden gem.

Pam De Jaeger: which was absolutley delicious. The only hiccup was my food wasn't ordered properly or someone forgot to make it, either way as soon as I mentioned it it came quickly and was taken off the bill. Highly recommend!

The Blue Marble Restaurant & Lounge: what do users think?

Greg C: Cozy, elegant and upscale, The Blue Marble is an overlooked gem.I honestly cannot believe this place is not packed every night. The food is fantastic and creative and the service is wonderful. I'm trying to think of a better restaurant I've been to in Winnipeg and I really can't.

Crystal Clark: Small plate of Stuffed chicken was the perfect amount for us and delish and the burger was tasty. Blue Marble always has a fantastic wine list which is appreciated and it’s usually quiet but don’t let that fool you. It’s a great place to stop, even if not travelling.

Paul: Been going here for years on the eve of our travel, and it's always a great meal.Try it!

Joshua Calkins: I stopped in to have a bite during an overnight layover while staying at a nearby hotel. It was a bit confusing whether or not I could seat myself, but the bartender came up and greeted me within a couple mins. The burger was spectacular and the fries were just right, i have another layover and will be coming back for it again! I had to ask for the bill but it was clear they were very busy so I didn't mind. They only had two people for a whole bar and 20+ tables...

larry bull: Here on business in Winnepeg Canada for 3rd time this summer. Great food, atmosphere. I like the beef spare rib and duck leg with Guinness nitro can or a good IPA on tap. Airport hotel restaurant sure, but I don’t feel I need to justify, explain or defend eating there. I still bounce around Winnepeg with workmates but this is my favorite while I’m here.

Kaley Noel Photography: We decided to eat here last night, honestly the food was amazing. The service was fantastic. Everything we ordered was SO good. If you're staying at the airport and need a nice meal. This is the place.

D. Gunson: If your looking to watch the game, or a quiet place to cozy up and have a glass of wine with spectacular food and service I highly recommend The Blue Marble Resturant. If your worried about parking they will cover your ticket with a meal purchase. Whatever the occasion they will accommodate your needs. They have high end liquor, and wines for anybody's taste, if your a beer guy they have a selection you will enjoy too. All around this is a place for a nice night out whatever the occasion calls for. With all the restrictions lifted they are back open for business, with a new menu.

Trevor Serebro: The service is amazing and the food is exceptional!

寅飞葛: Ribs and duck leg are so good, and the staff Ryan is polite and helpful, thank his service and the chief made a wonderful trip night for me

TJ Wagoner: Great to find vegan options on the menu! Nice that it's located in The Grand.Ginnelle was very helpful, professional and friendly! I for sure will be back upon my next visit to Winnipeg.

Stefan Razella: Stowed away across from the airport they have a lovely dinner menu

Audrey Beaudry: Great food.
