Went skating on river trail tonight and saw this ice bike and ice trike rental place conveniently located at ice level.Rented the ice bikes for me and my 13yr old and had an absolute blast touring down the river trail. Also rented the ice trikes which are a whole other type of adventure.They have the easiest way to schedule and sign the digital waivers... Simply scan the QR code on their building signage and complete the process. It took at most 3 minutes for the two of us and we were good to go!Thank you Kendrick's Outdoor Adventures for making this evening so memorable!

The prices are super reasonable and the woman who helped us was super friendly and helpful! She even contacted us via text before the ride so that if we had any issues with the bikes we could reach out. I would highly recommend renting from these people as their bikes are awesome and their service is fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Adam Roy: I've been ordering a ton of bike related gear online lately, because my local stores in Atlantic Canada are pretty much limited to only Trek stock, and I'll admit I'm not super into that brand for a bunch of reasons.Anyway, a lot of my orders this summer have been shipping incredibly slow. Like, they've been picked off the shelf slowly before they've been packed for skipping. Sometimes a week before shipping. Not Woodcock. The person shipping my gear was named Olga, I believe, and my stuff actually got to Halifax about 4 or so days sooner than I expected via Canada Post.TLDR: Thanks, team! Scott asssisted me and went above and beyond to fetch the right high quality parts located offsite. The work was completed in approx an hour and the initial quote, which was very reasonable, proved accurate. We had some bike issues after renting, but Plain Bicycles was able to to resolve those problems as soon as they could.Overall, I enjoyed my Dutch bike experience! Winnipeg was the perfect place to try the bikes out since the city is mostly flat.

Miggles: You can rent bikes for a fee or test them in the immediate vicinity for free. The higher centre of gravity on Dutch bikes was not as jarring as I had anticipated it would be. The turning radius on the other hand is quite wide compared to mountain bikes. 100% would recommend a dutch bike for commuting/hauling if your route is mostly straight & flat.

Austin Vialoux: Picked up my Aventon Aventure.2 step thru today. They fully charged the battery and modified the handlebar for extra height. Great service. Aventure.2 did 1hr 15 min of mixed riding at full speed most of the ride 32kph. total of 28km and still have 58% battery so expect about 2-2.5 hrs or 55km of fun per charge on this fat bike.

I especially like the fact that recommendations on part changes are not driven by spending and that if a part change is not necessary after initial estimation, technicians won't proceed with the change just for the sake of it.My last service was for 3 bikes and despite asking for level 2 service, they decided it wasn’t necessary in my case due to some parts being replaced, so they just charged level 1 price. It is a nice surprise when you see the final bill. Thanks for being honest.

Chris Gleeton: I brought my Giant Trance X to have all the parts swapped over to a new carbon frame for warranty purposes. They took the bike on pretty short notice, and were able to get the work done within a few days. This frame swap was a very complex one with a ton of parts and cable/wire routing, and the work done was top notch. I feel like my bike was very well taken care of throughout. The warranty request with Giant was also completed through Olympia, and they took care of all the back-end work. The staff were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and caring.

Ben Chapel: The shop is busy during riding season - a great sign. I booked a job to have a new two-speed Sturmey-Archer "automatic shift" hub laced up to my existing rim for single-speed bike. They were able to do the job a day early, custom cut 32 black spokes as per request and laced, trued and installed the wheel back onto my bike. Since the new IGH needed re-gearing, they installed a 22 tooth cog in place of the original 18 tooth - the new cog required a new longer chain, they did that too. Thanks Guys, great work. Highly recommended
