Preet Kaur: Is there any ticket, if yes then how much??

Anton Nemeth: What a fun and informative facility! Way too many years since last visit, but I don't live nearby any more. Once helped others lift the wing onto the DVII after a repair and they need volunteers! Hid behind one of the planes with my girlfriend when a film crew was doing a documentary. Saw it layer completely by chance! Also went up in the red two seater biplane they had then, after sharing lunch with the guys there. Flew over the Niagara Escarpment in Fall. I will never forget that experience! Thank you all!

AM Cabusora: Really cool place to learn about World War I planes. The curators and volunteers of this establishment are passionate and extremely knowledgeable. Must visit as you can take pictures in these replica planes.

Rick Nielsen: We had no idea this place existed and noticed it on Google maps as a good distance for an ebiking destination. Really enjoyed it. The members were so friendly and happy to share their knowledge of WWI and the biplanes and triplanes. They have a lot of interesting artifacts and several complete planes with a few more under repair/rebuild. Apparently they have a couple events planned for the season so we will try to attend if we can. Highly recommend this gem.

Jay Khan: This place is a hidden gem away from the city. Amazing WW1 aircraft’s and a nice museum.

Carol Pihack: Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Enjoyed it thoroughly!

The 48th Highlanders Museum: what do users think?

Heather Leckey: Great museum for the 48th Highlanders regiment. The person there today was Peter and who was super knowledgeable and shared great stories. It's a free museum but it is worth an hour or more of your time. We were glad to make a donation to support it.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Andy Rondeau: was a member of the 48th Highlanders and gave a ton of context to the exhibits and passionately shared lots of stories about the people in photos or whose kit was on display. Absolutely worth a visit!

Andrew Yin: A small museum with a big heart! I visited the museum during lunch break one day this month and was positively surprised by how many artifacts the have in the collection. The museum was staffed by volunteers, who were super friendly. They proactively welcomed me, gave me explanations, and answered my questions. One of them told me about a funny anecdote from the time the late Queen Elizabeth II visited in the 1990s. They have a wealth of information about the museum, the collections, and the regiment itself. Do engage with the volunteers when you visit. A gem in the city!

Ruth Neamen: .His kindness and patience was great as he shared the history of each donated artifact. Was able to answer all my nephew's questions even if it was information he'd already provided. We were able to spend about 30 minute before the little guy got antsy.Museum is free but please donate to this guardian of Toronto History.Very much enjoyed the bonus story on Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip

Henrys' Vlog: A great museum to visit. Museum staff are friendly kind knowledgeable.

Anita Windisman: A small but mighty museum located in the basement of St. Andrew's Church. Only open for a few hours each week on Wednesday and Thursdays. It's staffed by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Although the museum is free, do consider making a donation. And don't forget to sign the guest book.
