The picture that emerges is of a culture with few equals in the beauty of its art, the accomplishment of its architecture or the richness of its religious traditions.

4worldlovers: Riverwood is an oasis of woodlands, meadows, ravines, and gardens that spans 150 acres alongside the Credit River in Mississauga. The Riverwood Conservancy is a volunteer- and member-based charity that protects and restores Riverwood, and connects people of all ages, abilities, and cultures to the wonders of nature through conservation, education, gardening, and volunteering. Riverwood is one of the most ecologically diverse communities in the Credit Valley watershed, and home to a variety of wildlife and plant life. Use our trail network - and please follow park rules - to safely explore woodlands, meadows, wetlands, and creeks.

Students from kindergarten to grade eight take part in research and conservation activities outdoors and inside our field station, with a focus on wildlife, plant life, and geological features.

Secondary students go outdoors to learn about local habitats, conduct field research, gain leadership skills, and form foundations for careers in science and environmental conservation.

A hands-on learning environment that's fully-accessible and innovatively designed for children, youth, and adults who live with physical, cognitive, and/or mental health challenges.

Volunteering with The Riverwood Conservancy comes in many forms – gardening, wildlife monitoring, education, forestry, marketing, event planning, committee participation – but they all feed into one purpose: to create a community that lives in harmony with nature.

4worldlovers: The Gardiner Museum brings together people of all ages and backgrounds through the shared values of creativity, wonder, and community that clay and ceramic traditions inspire.

This community exhibition features the work of multidisciplinary artist and mentor, Sharon Norwood, along with five emerging artists from VIBE Arts.
