Mac Mehta: It's an online store.. I went there, and could not find the place. Finally called them up and figured out that it's not an actual store. 5 stars, because the personon the phone was kind.

Ramesh: This is a nice store with all kinds of south Indian items, especially the Tamilnadu native rice varieties like Maapilai samba, Kaatu yaanam, poongaar, kullangar, bamboo rice etc., only shop for Boiled ponni for the oakville residents.Rice prices are cheaper for the good quality.Through pre ordering we can reserve some special items for festivals and pooja days.
anjani surekha: Lakshmi Stores is my personal favorite Indian Grocery store. We get all the spices and groceries that are needed in Indian cooking, especially for South Indian dishes at affordable prices.I like the vegetables section which is properly organized and neatly packed, kept fresh with good quality. Even though we can get some of these vegetables from Freshco or other stores, they don't taste as authentic as that we get from Lakshmi Stores.As it is very close to Costco, its a double deal. We can buy general stuff from Costco and complete the shopping with Indian stuff and veggies from Lakshmi Stores.I wish the shop owners good luck and urge them to maintain this quality and price in the future too.

Krishna Mohan: Lakshmi Stores seems to be personal favorite of many Tamil speakers of Oakville and Mississauga whom I met. This is probably not without a reason.Many items and specifically brands that are popular in Tamil Nadu are available here. It has a decent collection of veggies and fruits of interest to the target community. It is situated pretty close to Costco. It would be great idea to combine the Costco shopping and round it off with the complementing Indian items from Lakshmi Stores.Service is very good from the pleasant staff.

vinay malhotra: A must go visit if you are looking for any Indian spices especially South Indian.. a huge range variety for spices, herbs with lots of parking space available..vegetables are limited but very fresh and comparatively cheaper than other Canadian outlets. Lots of parking space available .. Staff is very friendly.

Mir Ahasan Kabir: Bangladeshi grocery in Mississauga.
Bong in Canada: Prices r very high. Only go for deshi fishes and vegetables, else are very high price.
Enaiyat Ghani Ovy: Our experience was positive visiting first time at this Bangladeshi grocery store. Their meat and seafood sections are rich, and have good quality. The price seemed reasonable to us. With the grocery store, they also have a snack bar. The staffs were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Indrani Thakurata: Our go-to shop for all things Bengali. It has stocks of our favourite fish, illish, pabda, tengra etc. And some vegetables that are popular only with Bengali's from India, and Bangladeshis. You won't get these in Walmart, so you have to drive down here to satisfy your craving for regional food. Also, it has a good stock of sweets!

AKK: Good Indian stuff but expensive
Shaila: I've ordered food from this place multiple times online. The portion size is large and worth the price. Absolutely no compromise on the quality of the materials used either. I've tried the dal makhani, samosa , aloo paratha. Loved it all

So, if you want something from backhome just try out your luck at Mr Indian Grocers, you might get them.Pricing, well this is tricky subject, the inflation in 2023 is highest, food inflation is killing everyone, so you can't expect to get "Imported" products at a pocket friendly rates! So yes, if you have money you get the indian products, if you don't you save first and then decide what is basic vs what is luxury item.Overall experience, I have visited there couple of times before writing this review, so personal it has been decent.Giving it 5/5, as per my expectation, they have a great offering of products from back home. Even though everything is not available, but it's fine by me. You need to do some adjustments always.Will update or add something in future if I feel like.
