Cheryl Coward: This is one of the best walk-ins I have been too, I took my baby here they seen him right away and the doctor was very thorough, he took his time to assess him I was very pleased with the receptionist and her intake on my son he has Autism and is not the most settle but she was able to get all his vitals and measurements with great care, very kind and understanding, would highly recommend this clinic. I've been seeing Dr. Dickson as my primary caregiver for more than 20yrs. He is truly a compassionate man who strives to give his patients the absolute best possible care. He has led me through 5 surgeries to my hips and for severe breaks to my shin/ankle in just the past 2 years. I would never even consider seeing another GP cuz you can't improve oh the best!!
Great clinic! Very short wait, especially compared to other clinics, clean waiting area and Dr. Dickson was very friendly and efficient! Also they're open on Sunday's which is when most clinics are closed.

S. S: . She did exam me and noticed that my pain is related to something that did not make sense to me but when she explained I understood. She referred me and she called the specialist's office personally in front of me to make sure that they received the fax and emphasized that I needed to be seen ASAP.My daughter had eating problem and doesn't like to see doctors but the way that this nurse practitioner communicate with her she likes to see her and listenes whatever she tells her. She is gaining weight gradually and eating better than before. I think we should be fair when we judge and it is important that how we behave and to know the lomit of our expectations.

Chrystal Baker-Savage: I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. The receptionists try their best, and they’re firm and efficient with the patients. I’ve not had a bad interaction with any of the receptionists, nurses, doctors or any other staff ever. I don’t understand all the negative comments about Sharon. She is great at her job, and I can’t imagine it being easy.

Lindsay Schley: Our family has been coming to this clinic and pharmacy for years! I don’t really understand all of the negative reviews. We have had nothing but positive experiences! The doctors are kind and attentive. Yes sometimes are doctors frustrated, absolutely! But remembering this is a walk in clinic they too are always overwhelmed with the amount of people they see. Like everyone they too have their good days and bad days. As for the pharmacy they have always been kind, quick, and informative. The clinic itself is clean. We will keep coming back here.

Emily W: I have been a patient at McMaster family practice since I was a child. Sometimes waits are long, sometimes you can't see your family doctor and sometimes it's hard to get an appointment as soon as you would like. I have always been happy with the quality of care and help they provide. It is a time where family doctors are in demand, so understanding this is important. Dr. Stevenson is a fantastic doctor and most residents I have seen are also amazing.
Sara Chaput: This 5 star review is for Dr.McGill. I have had a less than great experience with this clinic and many doctors within it. Before Dr.McGill I would have given a 1 star. He is the first doctor that my husband and I felt cared about his patients, truly cared. He goes above and beyond for his patients and never makes you feel like a burden and never judges you, which in my experience is a big one. He is an example of becoming a doctor for the right reasons. If only all family practitioners took a page out of his book the system would be that much better for it. Thank you Dr. McGill for being such a wonderful doctor!
katie: I can’t speak for the other doctors here as i haven’t had experience with them, but I wanted to leave a review for Dr. Mcgill and his care team. they are always attentive and go above and beyond to help their patients. I was used to being failed by the medical system, but Dr. Mcgill and Dr. Henry He always make me feel cared for, and consistently go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need and that I feel comfortable coming to them with anything. I’ve never felt dismissed or like a burden while under their care, they are professional doctors while still showing you they’re human and care about your issues.I think a lot of people don’t like that this is a teaching facility which means you don’t always get seen by the same doctor, if you aren’t comfortable with that I suggest finding a different clinic because this is definitely the case, but I personally like it because it helps them be able to see more patients. they do have access to your whole chart too so they can see your whole medical history and they’re trained to not make you explain everything every time. 10/10 I highly reccomend this clinic!

Barb Sonier: I recently joined MFP and am surprised to see so many poor reviews. I’ve had nothing but good experiences there. I have multiple health issues and each has been addressed thoroughly. I never feel rushed or ignored. I’ve seen a resident as well as my primary GP and have no complaints, it’s a learning facility and the team coordinates which can be beneficial.Front desk staff has always been friendly. I have had to wait to get through on the phone but find that’s the norm with most clinics, the online booking option has been great.Charges not covered by OHIP such as sick notes, insurance/disability documents etc..charges are more than fair and much less than many charge.I’d like to add I work in the community and support many individuals to medical appointments and this clinic is definitely one of the best, IMO
Steve Chalastra: I just noticed to my surprise that the average Google rating for MFP is 2.7. I've had nothing but exemplary service from my assigned doctor. This is a case of averages not meaning much because most reviews are either 5-star or 1-star, and the latter seem to be typically about phone time on hold or rudeness. Yes, you're going to wait a while if you need to call but given the number of patients at the practice and what's going on with the health system in this province, be realistic! You can also get an appointment through the online booking system. And I've never been treated with anything other than helpfulness and politeness.

So they can become great doctors. Collaborating brilliant minds is much better than only one. I feel that my needs and concerns are addressed and I’m never rushed they take the time to really listen to you. There is also a social navigator there to help you with different things such as legal, employment, financial, housing. Amazing work
Julia Verhaeghe: We've had very positive experiences with MFP over the past few years. The front desk staff have always been friendly and accommodating. The wait times are low, the medical teams are professional and knowledgeable. It's easy to get same-day appointments for urgent matters. And what's super convenient is the after hours doctor. We've had to use this service a few times and it has kept us out of the urgent care centre. It's true you will not see your doctor every visit, you may see a resident instead, but that hasn't been a problem for us. The nurse practitioners are also amazing. Highly recommended!
