Alicia Heeg: Taylor and Kandel did an amazing job on my hair! I got highlights and a root melt done by taylor who gives an amazing shampoo massage! Kandel fixed my poorly cut hair and was very fun to chat with, both or these girls and extremely skilled in what they do. I had a great experience and would 100% recommend people this salon.

Toni Jane: I got my hair cut here in April. I was growing out an undercut and figured a blixie would be the best style to let it grow out. I am always cautious about where I go for a haircut because of my hair texture and thickness and having just moved to Hamilton I wasn't familiar with the hair salons in the area. A friend recommended this salon and I showed the stylist inspo photos and she even gave me recommendations for shampoos & conditioners to use in between my psoriasis scalp treatments. The stylist did an amazing job and showed me how best to style my hair. I got so many compliments on it and can't wait to get my hair cut again, as it's grown out in the past few months. Drumstickballoonhead: The hairstylist here is incredibly talented.My husband had gone here before looking for a new place that was local since our usual salon is in a different city. I watched in awe as she gave one of the quickest cuts I've ever witnessed, and the result was fantastic! He is Southeast Asian, and wanted someone that was familiar with his hair type.After going with him 3 times, and seeing how she works, I wanted to start going here myself. I was a tad nervous since I have very fine, curly, caucasian hair. I was in and out in 30 minutes flat, and she gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. I am blown away! My hair has already been complimented by 3 complete strangers, and it hasn't even been a day!Aside from the cut, the store is run by a very kind couple! Every time both my husband and I had gone, we always comment on how funny, charming, and lovely they are!

Flourish Skin Studio: Strut is the salon I recommend to all my clients when they’re looking for cutting edge hair services. Every staff member is super talented and totally worth the wait, as they tend to be booked out for a while. I’ve most recently started seeing Brittni and she’s amazing! The vibe in the salon is always upbeat but not super loud which is nice. You won’t find a group of more talented stylists in the city.
