William Kung: Really the best place to eat for students. The owner was very nice and took good care of us. The taste of home-cooked food is something you can't find in other restaurants, the price is affordable, and the food is delicious and healthy. Those who require "advanced" service quality and speed can eat restaurants that are five times more expensive and charge a 10% service charge.

Lucas Bagliolid: I have driven past iron chef my entire life but have never tried it. However just recently I saw an article in the Spec about the local business. I decided to go and try it out… Very delicious, service was fantastic and very polite, and above all the portion sizes are great. I will be returning again for sure very happy with this local business.
David de Boer: I was introduced to Iron Chef about 20 years ago as the best Dim Sum in Toronto and Hamilton. I was living in Cambridge, and it wouldn’t be unusual to see people we knew from Kitchener driving all the way there for the good food.Fast forward to last weekend. Brought the love of my life there for lunch. She is from Philippines, but has lived in Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong. She likes Iron Chef and says it is the authentic style from Hong Kong. If she says it’s good, then it’s good!!!!

Melissa Kelly: Called at 230pm for a 4pm pick upOrdered Cheese Wontons, Beef and Broccoli, Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimps, Short Ribs, Pork Dumplings and an Egg RollGrowing up on the mountain in the 80s, my family would traditionally eat at the great buffet that was China Kiki at Mountain Plaza Mall or travel to Burlington to eat at the greater buffet that was Foo Ho. When looking for Chinese food here in the city, the food had to live up to those standards in my memory. Eng’s does not disappoint. It is fast, hot, and very tasty. The egg roll was eaten so fast we missed it in the picture! The breading in the shrimps was unlike any other deep fried shrimps goodness I’ve had, and even lasted to the next day for lunch. The beef in both beef dishes was flavourful and well cooked. The vegetables were crunchy and sauced well. The Lo Mein noodles were great both on their own with sweet and sour sauce and with the beef and veg, too. And the orange chicken? Full of saucy goodness. The Short Ribs were the perfect kind of sticky if that makes any sense. Oh - and cheese wontons - they are just cheese, no crab - they are just a delight, both before and after the meal. There was plenty of food for two people - we ordered it for 4pm so that we could snack on it all night, and had enough for lunch the next day. They also tossed in about 8 fortune cookies which is always a bonus.We have lived on the east mountain for 5 years now, and just tried Eng’s for the first time. It is dangerously good knowing it is so very close.

Jim T: Wow this Chinese restaurant really stepped up to the plate on New Years Eve!! The lady I spoke with on the phone was very lovely, and took my order with no problems, she told me there would be a 2 hour wait understandably on New Years Eve, and trust me any other place was not delivering at all, and these guys stepped up and delivered!! The delivery girl was lovely, hopefully she made it through the New Years Night! And now the food... wow the food was actually super hot I've never had that from any delivery service which was amazing 👏 and everything we ordered was there, and all my guests where happy, excellent food, excellent delivery, excellent communication, this place goes above and beyond for their customers, and I'm 1000% Satisfied with my order, and based on my experience tonight I'd highly recommend this establishment, and I'd definitely order from them again!! Jade Yang: I don't know why the low rating, I'm from Northern China and hubby is Italian and we both love this place. Food is well made, staff is friendly, and menu is big with pictures and restaurant is clean. Had Sweet & Sour Pork and Soy Eggplants today, both were awesome. Going to try something new every time until we make our way through the menu 😋 Price was good too, under $20/pp after tax and tip and we left very full.
Omar Medina: If you want good Northern Chinese food, this is the place to go. The prices are good and the dishes are full of flavour. My favourite dishes here are the Braised Pork Belly, Brain Intestine in Brown Sauce and the Zha Jiang Mian.

Grace Kuei: This place is very authentic, including the atmosphere. My husband and I lived in northern China for a year in 2014 and since then we've periodically crave some northern Chinese food. Sparkle delievered that. However, they are not like the regular restuarants as there is no music or pleasant servant being attentative. If you want an authentic Chinese small town restuarant experience, this would be the place to go.
Smith: We were really impressed. The menu was in English and Chinese and had plenty of colour photos to follow. The resto was recommended to us. We knew this was Northern Chinese so we didn't expect bobo balls, but this was clearly authentic. The prices were entirely reasonable and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Mizore M: Great Asian food experience, first time having dumplings and they tasted amazing, although I have nothing to compare them to. I look forward to doing so elsewhere.Things to know, there is a 90 minute time limit on all you can eat, price is still 50/person with this time limit. So be wearly to dine and then get out. This is not a stay and enjoy conversation.Food service was impeccable, waiters were nice excluding one who refused to acknowledge me.Atmosphere was lacking dustty ledges and ripped seats. But not unsanitary.Food was quick 90 minutes is an easy task to eat as much as you want but don't hang around lol.Overall would dine again. On my own though as a group the time limit is a restriction you don't get elsewhere for the same price.
