The food is always cooked fresh and made with clean, meticulously prepared ingredients. In order to create the simple yet delightful rural fare customers come back to.

    Varied, quick, and fresh. Stir fries are made using high heat and high speed. This allows both ingredients and flavour to stay crisp, clean, and fresh. Its also good if your in a hurry.

    Warm and flavourful, this clay-pot (Sha Guo) stew is a wonderful comfort food. Though slightly slower to leave the kitchen, its tantalizing taste is worth it.

    A combination of high heat and spices make these really fun to eat. One can't help but smile in anticipation as the air is filled with the aroma of boiling soup. And that's before eating it.

Between the 3 of us, we ordered chicken fried rice, General chow chicken, chicken balls, and dry cooked beans. The food was good and tasted more authentic than the Chinese food I have gotten from restaurants in the surrounding area. There was more than enough for all of us, and with the bill split between us, it was pretty cheap aswell. Would recommend.

Its a lovely location to dine, its not been as busy as it used to pre-pandemic but just means i get served delicious meals faster. The food is great tasting and portions are good value. The ataff are very accommodating and you can order ahead. If they tell you 15 to 20mins they mean it unless you get a busy evening which is when its busiest especially Friday and Saturday as the outdoor scene in Westdale offers lots to do.

Only complaint I had was that the General chicken was not as spicy as I've had from other restaurants, but it was still delicious.My daughter who is not a big Chinese food fan even enjoyed her meal.One other item that was really good was the egg rolls.     Houseman from The Hammer: I've been going to Shanghai for well over 20 years. The food is always top quality and very consistent. The Chicken Balls are filled with a large amount of chicken breast meat so the meat to batter ratio is far better than most places. Even the Chow Mein and Rice dishes all have white chicken in them. I highly recommend the Soo Guy which is beautifully battered and deep fried chicken breasts. You can order it with sweet and sour, lemon, Shanghai special, mushroom and almond sauce. Another dish I highly recommend is the Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Their Spring Rolls are the best in the city. The rice paper after being filled with superb ingredients is then battered and deep fried. Super delicious. They have some really great combination plates that are a good bang for the buck. Their service is always fast and friendly. Check out Shanghai and I promise that you will not be disappointed.

Suites that are lavish and spacious, with individual sinks and commodes for each guest. It's possible that Karaoke in Ontario is at its best here. My friends and I had fun. Superior assistance provided by courteous individuals. A songlist for a personal TV karaoke app can be nearly endless in length. YouTube has karaoke tunes. It is well worth the price.
