Then Marian came over and talked to me on how undergarments would make a big difference. She took the time to size me and help me find the perfect fit and they have so many sizes in the Shapeez line. Once I found the perfect fit I had to buy it as it made me look like I lost 20 lbs and was so comfortable! Would never have considered buying a camisole bra that day if Marian had not been attentive to us.John was there as well and we ended up buying some cute jewelry too and he even gave my daughter a treat for being so patient.I also love how they only have Canadian clothing lines and their prices are reasonable considering this fact. I will definitely be back.

B: I was at Lime Ridge mall for another reason when a beautiful dress caught my eye. I didn’t know that Blackbird Studio moved to Lime Ridge from James Street North! The new location is bright and beautiful. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. I bought the Ricky dress which is very flattering and will be perfect for spring summer events!

Nancy Ball: LOVE .. LOVE .. this store .. even though I have yet to step inside. Discovered sariKNOTsari on Instagram and really enjoy their live stories and fashion shows. They feature so many lines of sustainable clothing and products. Most recently, I saw a post they featured on these beautiful Mary Frances Crossbody Phone Bags, along with Wallets, and had never even heard of that line before. I watched as the staff unpacked their shipment, and I was over-the-moon, just being part of that experience. I actually ordered one of the bags, and LOVE IT SO MUCH !!! As well, there was a post on Bryn Walker linens, and in particular the light linen Phryne styled dress .. absolutely gorgeous..ordered 3 .. and a tank as well .. they are stunning and so comfortable !! Ordering on line was seamless and the sizing was spot on .. Just cannot wait to visit their shop in Hamilton, because they feature so many silk items as well, and I think it would be worth the 2 hour drive for me. This is a shop with a conscience too .. and I love how they are involved with meaningful organizations that as a consumer have me pause and give great thought to my purchase, and to where my clothing derives from as well as sustainability .. Just cannot say enough about this lovely, lovely shop and their employees !!!
Holly Fynn: What a fabulous company! So many incredibly beautiful, irresistible silks. The owner, Priya Mohan is beautiful inside and out. I love the ethics and values of this company. Supporting workers with fair pay. Sustainability. Making a difference in the community and the world. I love that a portion of all sales go to the Save The Elephants Foundation.I have never actually visited the store as I live on the west coast but Priya and her staff support their online customers as if they were present in the store, via texts or sometimes even video. When it comes to customer service they truly go above and beyond. I love my beautiful silk garments from SKS and always receive compliments when I wear them.Another lovely touch is the personal, handwritten note accompanying each package. And the tag on each garment contains flower seeds. So cool. A great company.

Amanda: What a vibe!I travel to Snafu regularly from Guelph which is about a 35-40 minute drive! They have amazing pieces and are so reasonably priced compared to local shops in my area. Their selection is amazing, I always walk out with a few pieces. You can tell all the items in the store are carefully selected, they know what they’re doing!The staff are sooo nice and friendly and the store is clean, and smells AMAZING unlike most vintage shops that smell musty and crusty. I actually read through previous reviews and saw one regarding the smell and it isn’t overwhelming at all.Honestly go check the store out for yourself, and if not to vintage hunt, to check out their decor alone, they have the coolest artwork there!10/10 recommended.
