David Normandale: Local or chain? Fresh or who knows when packaging occurred? Small batch or factory? And the biggie: where is salt ranked in the blend? Spice World checks all the boxes: local, as in family; fresh as in made in-house; small batch as in no way one family is a factory; and the winner: salt is never the number one ingredient in my favourite 4 blends. My Old Bay has been replaced by the Seafood blend: awesome. My recipe for a coffee rub is now a fond memory, replaced by Coffee & Cocoa, wow. 'Peg City & steak: oh, yeah. Who needs Montreal? If you BBQ, have a smoker, or just like to play with spices in your kitchen, this is the place to shop. And it's a fun place to shop, as well. The staff makes you feel welcome & have answers & recommendations. Pricing is better than the "spice racks" in supermarkets, and there is more variety, too. Spice World belongs in your world.

Rajinder Goyal: Visited this place half a dozen times or more. Prices, in general, are on the high side compared to a number of other stores in the city. They can and should come down. The store has a good stock of most Indian groceries.

The staff is very friendly, and definitely know their products if you're seeking advice.

What a positive environment more then 15 people in a store and one person handling everything and every single person was happy & enjoying the time I spent more then an hour in the store just because I liked the way it was in there, busy store but not a single vibe of stress or ignorance….wide variety of flavours and they give samples with so much love ❤️❤️

rhett marak: Yes they have lots of spices for everyone, don’t see this store as just a place to get the hottest peppers to challenge yourself. come here for the spices you can apply on all your meats to add flavour. the store needs to be remodelled. it’s just sad, i avoid going in because of the atmosphere, concrete floors and walls makes it feel like a prison.

Very good customer service. All you need to do is ask for help & if the representative doesn’t know then he/she will definitely ask the owner or senior employee on duty. Only regret is with some of their customers who think it’s ok to park right in front of the store (fire lane). I wish the commissionaires would come and ticket these clowns who are so backward. Continuing the Fire Lane parking list… Too bad the City of Winnipeg doesn’t care about parking in a Fire Law…

Meat purchases are better priced than common stores and what would be considered 'ethnic' items and sold at premium are cost-effective.They have a huge variety of flours and rice as well and hard sought types can be found here in sizes that make the price more than competitive.One last thing, they have a large variety of items from middle-eastern/northern African regions that for those unfamiliar to explore and try. I highly recommend!!
