Stephan: I got Ben and his crew to remove old and put in new concrete on my driveway a year and a half ago. His team was professional, fast, and everything was completed as quoted. I had received 3 quotes from different companies and Ben's was the least expensive, he also noticed how my garage had sunk and we adjusted accordingly for that. During the concrete removal a small chunk of my remaining driveway was taken out by a bobcat, once I pointed it out to Ben there were no issues with him fixing it as well. So far almost two years later and the concrete is still in excellent shape. Throughout the whole process I talked with Ben directly or the company secretary, they were always quick to reply and I was never left waiting around. I would highly recommend Ben and his team for any other jobs.Update - I had got Ben to do another small job last spring. Again it was excellent work and Ben oversaw the project himself. The whole experience with the company from the office staff to the employees actually completing the project from the lifting to the finishing patching where very professional and the work completed was perfect. After the initial lift in fall, an adjustment was needed the following summer. Shaun had mentioned to us prior that given our circumstance this may happen. The entire adjustment process was covered under warranty with all deadlines being met. Overall very pleased with quality and service. Definitely recommended to some of our co-workers!.

Our contractor told us the overhead garage door would keep giving us trouble until we leveled the garage floor corner.The crew arrived within the stated window of time , hard working , cheerful , efficient ...the driver of the big truck was super personable, friendly, explained how it worked , shared his love for that massive piece of equipment and what it could do. Moe and his employees did a fantastic job of the concrete in all three areas. They are a conscientious and perfectionist group of men. Moe, the owner, is on site pretty much all of the time and supervises the entire project. He went above and beyond to ensure the work was done properly and even more so, as we had some existing garage footing issues which we were not aware of when Moe gave us the initial quote. His response was, “no problem, I can fix that for you” and he did!! He removed the original bricks from the driveway with care while trying to save as many of the bricks as possible as he knew we were giving them to our nephew to reuse at his home. Cleaning and picking up around the work site was done every day prior to them leaving for the day He is a professional but also a very kind person, always ready with a smile and a quick joke and teasing manner. Moe and his crew were very professional, they worked hard and didn’t waste time at the job site.4. The dates given to complete work was followed closely and we received a call if there was a delay.5. Moe was easy to get in touch with and returned phone calls promptly.Basically, if the contractor you’re considering takes days to return your calls, doesn’t provide a written quote and is vague about what he includes, then that’s probably what you can expect during construction....and that’s frustrating.We are happy to recommend Moe Zaid and his crew for your concrete projects.

David Gaden: I got to see how these guys react when things go wrong. They came to do an expansion of our driveway and modification to our two pathways. They showed up with a team of 8 or so guys, and got to work fast. But they basically had the stone colours reversed. When I mentioned this, there was a brief, "Are you sure, it looks nice this way too..." and then they were more than willing to redo the whole thing, no extra change. He arrived promptly and early every morning for almost two weeks and worked intensely not to mention super efficiently. Having grown up on a farm, he demonstrated a strong work ethic; taking pride and gratification in his work. He was extremely detail-oriented and precise in every task that he did. My project was completed to perfection far exceeding my expectations. Almost one season later, I can confidently say that the snow melt sloped away to the street as he graded the patio beautifully. The grout between the stones was done solid.I know my house has gone up in value as a result of his handiwork. Take a look at my backyard!
E Sookram: Adam and his crew were so great to deal with! They showed up around 8 am each day and worked till 4 or 5 pm depending on what phase of the project they wanted to get done. We had a large stone walkway and fire pit installed. They installed a retaining wall and regraded the area so everything would drain away from our house and the neighbor's house. They also dug out 2 underground rain drainage lines that expell the rain water far from the house. This job took almost 2 weeks.A big shout out to Jordan, a second year worker on his crew! He is a super hard worker and showed great attention to detail on every part of the job that he worked on. Adam was easy to talk to. He heard all our plans and had ideas on how to improve them. When we had to change part of the original plan, Adam and his work crew took on every challenge with a positive and easy going attitude. I reasonably did not expect to see them until the end of construction season when they would have some spare time but I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up one Saturday morning less than two weeks after I initially contacted them.They were finished within a few hours and our sidewalk was as good as new again.An indication of a good company is not only the quality of their work during initial installation but how well they handle warranty service.
