Bryan Swaykoski: This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious and we didn't wait long for our meal to come to the table. If you like dim sum, I highly recommend going during happy hour. It isn't a large dining area so the place fills quickly in the evening.

Patrick Burek: Long-time favorite that is consistently good. Haven't tried the halibut but both cod and pickerel are excellent. I also appreciate that they have malt vinegar. I applaud them for keeping their prices down and having a range of options that are financially accessible to a wide range of people visiting The Forks. I particularly love that the card payment doesn't automatically default to a tip prompt with the lowest default setting set at 15 percent just for someone handling you your food or placing it on the counter.Parking: Parking is a big hassle at the forks

Explorefood 715: When I saw the long line up I knew I had to try it. The cod was really good, the batter is not thick unlike other places they put so much batter to make it look bigger. It was cook to perfection, so crispy and very tasty. My hubby had pickerel & stew/chowder it was also very good & the fish chowder was loaded with fish and it taste fresh season with like salt and pepper simple and tasty. The fries looks good but it was not really crispy even we eat it right away something that they can improve. The lady that help us was very energetic happy and friendly. The best Fish and Chips place that I have been.

Shane Randell: Marvin was unreal, he was extremely on both menu and cocktails/beverage. The gave multiple phenomenal food and wine recommendations, while dealing with a large party group for a bachelor party. Tony Lee: This was my first trip back to Winnipeg, Manitoba, after so many years. I was extremely surprised to dine in such an high end restaurant in downtown Winnipeg. Hy's was, in fact, established in Winnipeg for decades, but I never knew it. The atmosphere and setting were so magnificent and classy. The service was very impressive, and the food was also good. The desert was prepared in front of my table with wine and hot flame. An unforgettable dinner.

The hostess was very friendly and very quick at finding us a table. Waitress was very quick at bringing out the starters and always on top of getting refills out to us in a timely manner.

Alecs: Mangkok is kinda far from me but we will definitely make my way to the other side of the city to have the best Kare-Kare in the city!I also didn't realize that they offer a buffet that's pretty affordable. We came in last time without realizing that they had the buffet that day and it was filled with very yummy dishes.The restaurant has plenty of seats but multiple times we've visited, there seemed to have been a party/event being hosted so I'd make sure to call for a reservation to make sure there's available tables. The food's so good that i might even host a dinner there myself haha!
