Dwarf no Cachette Café & Gift: what do users think?

Glen Doty: I’m being a little generous at 4 to be honest. The dumplings were good, but the Miso soup was greasy and under flavoured. I’ll apologize for not taking the names to memory, but we had an octopus-based appetizer. The protein pieces that were by themselves were very good, but the ones in the ball shapes were undone by the poor cookery of filling. Chicken Kaarage was overly crunchy, to the point of concern for the inside of my mouth. Dish came with some tasty accompaniments, though.

Oleksandr Yaniuk: It doesn’t look like typical Japanese restaurant, more European; it doesn’t look fancy and luxury; it’s not big but very cozy place. And the food and flavours are amazing!Especially recommend ramen, okonomiyaki and takoyaki

Zetta: Good food and customer service. Place needs a bit of touch up.

Coworkers322: Simply the Best Ramen in WPG!!

e e: the gift shop was also super cute and nice to visit after eating!! the only thing I was sad about was us forgetting our takeout containers/leftovers on the counter cuz it was so tasty and we wanted to finish it plus it costed alot💔💔

Morgan Massicotte: with pork, rice noodles and a fresh soft boiled egg was prepared instead of the soya sauce infused one. The ramen was delicious. My spouse had the ramen combo 3: shoyu ramen extra spicy with gyoza and karage.

M L: One of the few Japanese restaurants in the city that's not serving just sushi. In fact, I don't think they serve sushi at all.Been ordering take out here for years and food has always been consistent. We decided dine in for the first time in a while. The food was even better fresh and the service was great. The interior is very cute and eclectic. They had a store upstairs selling cute Japanese accessories and knickknacks. Not sure if they still have that though. They have a fairly large menu with lots of option. I recommend the Donburis and Okonomiyakis. The portion is pretty big for the price.

Wakoya Sushi: what do users think?

Dwaine Gauthier: We have been looking for PROPER sushi since Meiiji closed down. Tried many. Couple came close but dropper the ball all over the court. Who opens at 11am and closes at 7pm. Wont deliver and cant dine in. Anyway Wakoya blows everyone outta the park. Everything was fresh melt in your mouth. Tightly rolled with zero falling apart. Realistically sized not make for a hulk sized mouth. Presentation looking stunning!!! Absolutely amazing!!!Thank thank you!!!!!

Sonia L: I’ve been going here for several years. My favourite sushi place in the city!!! Great vegetarian selection too. Unfortunately they forgot the soy sauce one time when we ordered take-out… kindof a disappointment. But other than that, the food has always been amazing, both take-out and dine-in!!! Thank you!

Ruiqing Dai_468: That was delicious! Volcano is especially good. The price is reasonable.

faraz ahmed: , multiple sushi items and the black sesame ice creamPros: one of the best ramen in Winnipeg; rolls are fresh and tastyCons: super busy on weekdays, the server might forget your order

Jerilyn Huson: Life-changing ramen. Wild Pacific salmon. Attentive professional service. And the chef is a master of food experiences. Go now. Then go again tmrw.

Explorefood 715: Went to Winnipeg on my birthday for the weekend & we did not plan ahead where to eat, just want to be spontaneous & we decided to have sushi. We checked online to see which one had the best reviews & saw Yujiro, we took chances because we did not have reservation but it was early so we had better chance. We got in, small restaurant outside downtown but it was clean, friendly staff. Everything we order in the menu was super good very very fresh. I think the best sushi & Japanese restaurant in Winnipeg, we would go back for sure.

George Tabelina: if your craving for any Japanese food... this is the place

Mr.V (Mr.V): Best stir fry ever!!! Only problem I ever have when coming here, is trying to refrain from ordering more, as im watching them make my meal!

kaitlyn elizabeth: Good food

Jovy Mac: So-so staff interaction. The ones they have now are friendly, the one before was okay- did not smile but did a good job. I love their beef udon! They would automatically ask if you wanted extra sauce, which is great by the way... they give large servings and smoking hot. Great especially for this coming winter.

daniel ayobami: Nice place to eat.

glenn redmile: Out standing food and cooked fresh

Car Char: and they make it separately and specify which ones are gluten free when brought to the table. The ones in my image are not gluten free but the people who ate them said they’re very good too! If you are wanting gluten free you need to bring your own soy sauce.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian rolls listed.Dietary restrictions: Multiple different gluten free rolls and they’re very careful about allergies. Just bring your own soy sauce!

Desiree Pelletier: We were seated right away and given menus. Then we waited and watched three tables who came in after us get seated, have their orders taken and food served to them before our orders were even taken. At least 45 minutes. A different waitress than the one who seated us finally came to take our order and the food came about half an hour after that. By then we had to eat quickly so we wouldn't be late to an appointment. The sushi was very good, but not worth that amount of waiting. It was definitely annoying seeing people who arrived after us eating. We were unable to catch the eye of the wait staff.

Rick Ammazzini (UNBOX THE BOX): The place doesn't look the greatest from the outside but the sushi is 2nd to none.. don't let its appearance deter you. Everything in the menu is AWESOME.It's around $23 for all you can eat but trust me it's worth it..Think about it logically: it will cost you $10 for a McDonald's meal, For an extra $13 you'll get something special.A little warning: Eating sushi here will ruin all other sushi for you. You will soon realize that all the other sushi you have eaten is garbage.. especially supermarket sushi. So if you enjoy supermarket sushi do not eat here because you will never be satisfied with the supermarket garbage again.

James Paul: It is a large restaurant with lots of space. 23$ all you can eat. Sashimi is limited to 15 peace’s per person but there a lot of good options for all you can eat.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Large restaurant so lots of space for family

김종필: I recommend you to try the sashimi. It seems to be the best organized and well-made in Winnipeg.

Desiree Kelly: The best sushi spot in Winnipeg! Always super fresh fish and meals prepared with care

G M.: . They have sushi/sashimi ingredients, wagashi— various mochi, cakes, and other sweets from Japan in the freezer that you cannot find elsewhere

Stephen: This is probably the only Japanese restaurant I’d go other than wasabi and I came to here more often.

Etsuko Watabe: Amazing foods and Japanese grocery you could buy

Quỳnh Ph: I highly recommend to come and enjoy the food that is so so fantastic.Recommended dishes Oyakodon, Assorted Sashimi 8pcs, Mackerel …

Naru Sushi Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

stallionramos18: on top of the 6 pieces. Also they had perhaps melted cream cheese ?? Not sure but it was deadly!!PSA: I would've NOT have ordered it but I usually ask what's popular. We ended up having a vegan server who suggested this blueberry topped sushi lolIt was deadly and I wanted to order more but they wereclosing! The wife had the last bite. Everyone knows that it's the best bite.Usually we go to Wako Sushi which is very good! Great prices! This was more expensive but 'fancier?'. We definitely enjoyed trying this place out. Glad folkorama was sold out.

Ryan Klassen: With a lot of sushi places to choose from in Winnipeg, this has been my favourite. Cute place in the heart of the Osbourne village, this place serves sushi that is very fresh and delicious. If you eat with your eyes first this is the place! Parking can be a bit tricky. Highly recommend!

Robert Falcon Ouellette: .Kid-friendliness: They had a highchair.

Mikaël Jolicoeur: They are fantastics

Vasana Sith: Best chopped scallop roll and salmon/fatty salmon nigiri I’ve had in a long time. Melt in your mouth and very hearty pieces. This is going to become my new go-to sushi place. Go support this local mom and pop shop.

Linh Nguyen: I work in the area so I’ve been coming here for years on my lunches. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this gem yet. I’ve been to many and this makes one of my favorite sushi places in the city. The rolls are decent sized and I find the ratio of rice to fish and other fillings very satisfying. The sashimi is fresh, quality is always good! It’s unfortunate that some reviews haven’t had the same experience but I haven’t had any problems here.

Alex Fredo: Delicious, fresh, fairly reasonably priced. Loved every bite!

a o: Great lunch deal!! the sushi rolls and nigiri were so much bigger than other restaurants in the city!

Anna Gavrysh: Very delicious sushi, I guess the best in Winnipeg.I've ordered lunch special, for 15cad I received quite a big portion, and what impressed me the most is that sushi had less rice and more tasty fresh fillings. Great! Will definitely order with you again!Good luck!

Myss Lyss: I am in Honba sushi heaven. I don't know how you guys do it time and time again? The rainbow roll is the most amazing thing on the planet! The salmon and tuna draped over the top are so fresh and soft and buttery it melts in your mouth!! The avocado is always the perfect texture. The rolls are exquisitely made. Nothing ever falls apart. I also order the dragon roll which is delicious and perfectly made each time. The miso soup was hot on delivery and it is delicious. Let me also say that the ginger is always SO fresh!! Fresher than anywhere I have ever ordered sushi. I have probably ordered a year now and this is the most consistent sushi restaurant for highest quality super rolls. But they are pricey, so I can only occasionally splurge on it. If I could eat here everyday I would! But what are those little candies in the delivery? I can't understand the language but they taste like coffee and something sweet at the same time.Anyways thank you guys, keep up the great work!!

Maybe Drouet: I ordered the Sushi Platinum Combo. Very good and quite filling. I really like their miso soup. Ready on time. Discreet and helpful staff. I hope they will be there for a long time in the neighborhood. Will be going back soon to try other dishes.Parking: Large collective parking lot for several storesWheelchair accessibility: Store level

Asoyama Sushi: what do users think?

K Evans: So good, the miso soup was amazing, very fresh sashimi and delicious rolls. Good ambience.Recommended dishes Edamame, Miso Soup …

Jonathan M: The secluded dining areas are amazing. They do however come with a 15% gratuity if you want the private dining. It was about 50$ per adult which I found somewhat pricey for the amount of food you receive.Staff was very friendly and quick, I’m reading other reviews about Asoyama and some others are saying the staff is rude and neglectful.I however didn’t have a bad experience with staff and found our waitress very happy and prompt with menu questions.Would return here again.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsParking: Lots of parking but you may need to walk as the lot is shared by other businesses

Chuck Buhr: Best sushi I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to Hong Kong!

Justine: Great sushi. Tastes so fresh, and the service is great. The atmosphere is relaxing as well. 10/10 recommend.Food: 5/5 …
