Edokko Japanese Food: what do users think?

김종필: I recommend you to try the sashimi. It seems to be the best organized and well-made in Winnipeg.

Desiree Kelly: The best sushi spot in Winnipeg! Always super fresh fish and meals prepared with care

G M.: . They have sushi/sashimi ingredients, wagashi— various mochi, cakes, and other sweets from Japan in the freezer that you cannot find elsewhere

Stephen: This is probably the only Japanese restaurant I’d go other than wasabi and I came to here more often.

Etsuko Watabe: Amazing foods and Japanese grocery you could buy

Quỳnh Ph: I highly recommend to come and enjoy the food that is so so fantastic.Recommended dishes Oyakodon, Assorted Sashimi 8pcs, Mackerel …

Matt Blumberg: This place is amazing, the quality of the fish and other dishes is some of the best I’ve had.Amazing service, this is my number one sushi spot in Winnipeg

Blufish Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Nikki B: Blufish is one of the best sushi restaurants in Winnipeg, when you compare what you get for the price and what you get at other places. I love this place. There's a reason it's been around for so long. The cocktails are delicious and well priced. Try the specials they are fantastic. The fish is so fresh and amazing, we had a great dinner like always. Followed by a lovely walk in the Exchange District.

Andre DeBattista: Quiet and clean space in the historic east exchange district, near the waterfront. Nice atmosphere if you're not so outgoing but want a trendy meal spot with top quality fresh fish and seafood and some original specialty menu items you wont find at the average sushi restaurant.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls, edamame beans, agedashe tofu, wakame salad and tempura are all good options

Wilson Hendrawan: Good food, good ambiance. I like the White truffle tuna carpaccio. Definitely a unique menu item that you don't find anywhere else.

Geoffrey Snider: Been here many times before plays and sometimes make the long journey just for the great sushi. Find the visited once and feel expert enough to review pretty odd. Blufish scallops, Spicy Ben, are favourites. I have eaten at most of the Sushi restaurants in Winnipeg over the years and this is the most tasty.

Saad Tassoufra: Great customer service, Natalia is great and very professional she helped us and answered all of our questions before placing our order. Thank you! And keep up the good work

Dwarf no Cachette Café & Gift: what do users think?

Glen Doty: I’m being a little generous at 4 to be honest. The dumplings were good, but the Miso soup was greasy and under flavoured. I’ll apologize for not taking the names to memory, but we had an octopus-based appetizer. The protein pieces that were by themselves were very good, but the ones in the ball shapes were undone by the poor cookery of filling. Chicken Kaarage was overly crunchy, to the point of concern for the inside of my mouth. Dish came with some tasty accompaniments, though.

Oleksandr Yaniuk: It doesn’t look like typical Japanese restaurant, more European; it doesn’t look fancy and luxury; it’s not big but very cozy place. And the food and flavours are amazing!Especially recommend ramen, okonomiyaki and takoyaki

Zetta: Good food and customer service. Place needs a bit of touch up.

Coworkers322: Simply the Best Ramen in WPG!!

e e: the gift shop was also super cute and nice to visit after eating!! the only thing I was sad about was us forgetting our takeout containers/leftovers on the counter cuz it was so tasty and we wanted to finish it plus it costed alot💔💔

Morgan Massicotte: with pork, rice noodles and a fresh soft boiled egg was prepared instead of the soya sauce infused one. The ramen was delicious. My spouse had the ramen combo 3: shoyu ramen extra spicy with gyoza and karage.

M L: One of the few Japanese restaurants in the city that's not serving just sushi. In fact, I don't think they serve sushi at all.Been ordering take out here for years and food has always been consistent. We decided dine in for the first time in a while. The food was even better fresh and the service was great. The interior is very cute and eclectic. They had a store upstairs selling cute Japanese accessories and knickknacks. Not sure if they still have that though. They have a fairly large menu with lots of option. I recommend the Donburis and Okonomiyakis. The portion is pretty big for the price.

faraz ahmed: , multiple sushi items and the black sesame ice creamPros: one of the best ramen in Winnipeg; rolls are fresh and tastyCons: super busy on weekdays, the server might forget your order

Jerilyn Huson: Life-changing ramen. Wild Pacific salmon. Attentive professional service. And the chef is a master of food experiences. Go now. Then go again tmrw.

Explorefood 715: Went to Winnipeg on my birthday for the weekend & we did not plan ahead where to eat, just want to be spontaneous & we decided to have sushi. We checked online to see which one had the best reviews & saw Yujiro, we took chances because we did not have reservation but it was early so we had better chance. We got in, small restaurant outside downtown but it was clean, friendly staff. Everything we order in the menu was super good very very fresh. I think the best sushi & Japanese restaurant in Winnipeg, we would go back for sure.

Sushi Edoichi: what do users think?

rcarloto: This has been our go-to sushi throughout the pandemic, and we've always recommended it to friends and family ever since, gaining them new regular customers! We love the size and fillings of their rolls, and we've always gotten their platters. However, we found that they recently changed them; they've created set platters instead of customers being able to customize them from a great selection - which was a huge draw in for us as well as others. This was quite a saddening change to discover! Hope you guys would consider changing that back!

Sarah Barker: and i realllllly wish they had a seaweed salad available. will definitely order again!

Brad Nykorak: Amazing fresh ingredients. You can tell they use quality products from their fresh veggies, THICK sashimi, great packaging.. and even their takeout soy sauce isn’t the generic flavourless stuff.Great job Sushi Edoichi! Keep up the great work and I’ll keep referring friends and family your way.

Bruce MacSpurren: Great value. Large portions and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.Recommended dishes Roll …

Miss Uhh Liss: . They actually give you very generously rationed rolls. My boyfriend said the chicken roll tasted like a whole chicken wing was in one piece. The salmon sashimi was some of the best I’ve had in the city. We will definitely be ordering again!

Ulyana Kotska: Found this restaurant on skip and fell in love. Picked up at the location, staff was nice and restaurant tidy. Quality of the food is great for the price.

Jonathan Epp: , but I want to call out a small thing. When we got our sushi

Heidi Schwarzkopf: Very fresh, excellent choices, loved the green dragon roll and the rainbow roll! We called in our order to pick up. The takeout counter is located inside a grocery store that specializes in Asian ingredients. What a great find! Next time I'm in Winnipeg I'll be coming back here!

Jeff Gottwald: Ordered the Tiger Roll and Smoked Salmon roll.It was a fairly slow day, service was very quick and I had my food within 5 minutes of ordering it.The Tiger Roll was amazing, a must have if you order.

Eli Moshkovich: Casual place to eat. Food is simple and not expensive. Big portions, but the hoist/ vetress hasn't been experienced enough to guide us through the food, portions sizes, etc...Vegetarian options: There are gome rolls that contain only vegetables

KYU Bistro: what do users think?

S: Some menu items I would definitely go back for were the mango chicken and the korokke. The udon stir fry wasn’t really worth it and the black garlic ramen wasn’t that good. I liked the service there we had a very friendly and accommodating server. Overall I would genuinely go back for the korokke and maybe to try other different menu items.

Brenda Spade: Delicious ramen, I really enjoyed those noodles with the pink swirls in them. The spring rolls were crunchy and not greasy. Courteous fast service... I wish I had taken pics but I was so hungry I wolfed all the food down before I remembered. The old lava lamp threw me off though... it sits idle and dull among the beautiful jade and copper statues... why?

Cheri Anh: I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant. Huge portions and delicious food. Amazing customer service as well. I’ve only done takeout/pickup but the restaurant interior is very cozy. The wait times for food can get a bit long during peak hours so it’s always better to go during less busy hours or order ahead on their website to pickup. Best of all, they’re locally owned by Vietnamese! Their main dishes are my favourite because you can choose 2 sides.

Nathan Harding: I was in the mood to go out for lunch to grab some ramen and I’ve heard a lot about this place. The ramen did not disappoint and I enjoyed the spice level in the fire ramen. I would recommend highly the fire ramen if you enjoy Spicy food that still is packed with flavour. Service was great and the food came quickly. Definitely will be coming back for another visit.

Nate Abarca: . The ramen had plenty of delicious noodles and if you’re a fiend for heat, get the Kyu Fire! Spicy and delicious. The Mango chicken had a refreshing mango sauce that makes you feel like you always have room for more. Overall, the portions and taste were well worth the money. Very “bang for you buck” in my opinion. Service was friendly and fast, space is fair but can get a little full at time. The area surrounding the resto can be a bit “sketchy” at times so come during the day or a Wednesday for their wing night. Otherwise enjoy their food through your favourite food apps. Come here for great value and great food!

Derrick Canales: Big portions. Overall good food. I would come here again despite the drug dealing across the street at Tim Hortons.

Yuliia Novosilska: It's tasty! Big way out. And very pleasant and fast service.Recommended dishes Shoyu Ramen, Takoyaki …

Bon Sushi: what do users think?

Madi V (madiv): This is the best sushi I've EVER HAD! Nevermind from a takeout place. It was sooooo fresh and yummy. I can't wait to go back!

Dan Krumholz: Ok. Hands down. THE best sushi rolls in Winnipeg. Amazing quality in every roll and dish that they have. I just can't believe they don't have a restaurant.Customer service 10/10I could eat here for the rest of my life... haha

Kim: Great variety of grab and go sushi. Good portions of sushi. Very friendly staff. My go to place for sushi when I have a craving for lunch.

michelle.: pls nobody go here. It's literally the best salmon, crab, calamari everything sushi. I don't want anyone to take this away from me it's so tasty. The salmon tastes fresh and is mouth watering, the sauce is beyond tasty and wel balanced with its spice and the tempura is sometime purple which looks p cool too. Idk. Hella tasty and none of you should eat it. Go away. thank u.oh also the dude at the front is super sweet and very nice. Sushi is so hard to make this good, especially takeout. if you're going to ignore me and go, tip ya locals well. okbye

Joanne Kim: The sushi is clean, fresh and they don't over pack it with rice.If you want it for lunch, head there early, because they sell out fast. Yes, it is that good.

Mitch: Hidden downtown gem. Generous portions and tasty. Reasonable price. Great staff

Anika Maria: Fresh sushi and tastes good!

KCB: Bon Sushi is back -- still the same great quality and unique selections.support your local restaurants. This place is great value and great Sushi for lunch in downtown Winnipeg.Excellent freshness and quality. Large trays will easily make a nice lunch for two, so very good value here. Very fast and convenient.

Linda Mak: Incredibly delicious sushi for on-the-go! It's freshly made every morning and there's always a good selection. The guy who works there seems to work alone, so I hope he gets even more business so that he has company while making delicious food! He's also super nice. Go get yummy sushi if you're able to, it's worth it!Also, the price is really cheap for what you get. I've gone twice in a row now since they re-opened and the only downside is that it's going to be bad for my credit card...

Rookie Maquillage: They have pre-made or made-to-order sushi plates. Tasty. The price is reasonable. The guy who works the cashier and also prepares the sushi is very friendly.Pre-covid when there were a lot of people working in the exchange, they would sell the remaining sushi at discount at 3 pm.I hope the business survives this economic crisis.

A C: Love the chicken karaage don! The ramen was a little bit too rich and salty but still good nonetheless.

B.J. Heinrichs: . But this was amazing. I added my own pepper powder to make it more spicy, as I'm a pepperhead or heatonist..whatever you want to call it. The seasoned egg was fantastic, the broth was super rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfect constancy. Excited to try again!

Kristine Jimenez: I LOVE their ramen! It’s packed full of flavour and I could eat it over and over and over again despite the ramen being on the pricier end. The quality of the ramen is very good
