In the most recent project the crew that came out to work were friendly and respectful to both my wife and our dog, who were home throughout the experience. The work was done in a timely manner and within the quote they had outlined. I would also like to thank the office staff who did an amazing job at trying to fit our project into their schedule even with the several unexpected issues that occured. I would definitely recommend Belvidere to anyone who is looking for foundation work.

Their quote was by far the most organized and detailed of all that I received and their communication throughout was swift and encouraging. I was concerned that I would have to play a part in the project management side of things, but Belvidere dealt with all of the many details on their end so I could just sit back without worry. It was painless. The crew were professional and worked incredibly hard. They completed the job sooner than I had anticipated and left my yard in immaculate condition so that it was like they were never there. This was a really big job and I'm kind of stunned at just how smoothly everything went. Highly recommended.
Nicole Sidley: We had a big foundation job to get done which consisted of getting 11 piles put in and doing a lift on our house. The entire process took around three and a half weeks. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable in their job. The crew continuously worked hard, were very polite and did an amazing job of cleaning up every evening before they left. If you have any foundation repairs that need to be done I highly recommend this company. Great job done from start to finish. Excellent work

Marcel Fortier: Very happy with Belvidere Construction. From the advice to the assessment to the actual repair work, found this company's staff to be knowledgeable, honest, and professional.From first contact they recommended that I get an independent survey from an engineer who specializes in foundation repairs; I contacted Belvidere again to discuss repair options after I had the survey done.Due to house leaning excessively, I chose to pay extra to have it leveled. They were specific in the contract that could not promise a full leveling; this is due to avoiding any structural damage during the lift. In the end they managed to raise corner of house enough that list is barely noticeable now. Large bow window was especially vulnerable to damage; no issues during or after lift.Two sides of foundation had to be excavated and underpinned to accomplish the lift. Work was done without damaging the house and with little impact on the yard.Working to my engineer's satisfaction, plies were sunk in correct numbers and to correct depth. Waterproofing done has lifetime warranty and is fully transferable.Final cost was same as initial quote. Although I got cheaper quote from a competitor, wasn't happy with other because they were less thorough is assessment, didn't want to do a lift, and didn't even recommend an engineering survey. They stated that only 1 side of foundation needed to be underpinned; I'd rather put my faith in engineer's assessment.

Daniel Roscoe: I was planning some home renovations and wanted to open up the upstairs by removing a supporting wall, the engineer visited my house and checked it out and came up with an acceptable plan. While he was working on them I ran across another problem with some floor structure in the main bathroom that meant I needed a second permit to apply the required structural changes, they were able to check my plans and stamp them and the city, eventually, approved the drawings and issued me a permit.As a side note, the main drawings for the upstairs were rejected by the city due to a change in what they wanted on the documentation, Beach Rock made the changes and sent them to the city within 24 hours of being notified that the city wanted the wording changed as well as providing me with 3 printed and a digital copy at no additional charges.Easy to get to by either the 14 or 16 bus.

Larry Drebniski: We had some moisture damage in 2 areas in our house. This spring in March they were becoming worse. This needed to be resolved. We called several contractors. Some never returned the call. Others said they will not be available till the fall. HRT Construction was recommended to us by a realtor. Dave from HRT returned our call immediately and came over to assess the problem. He offered a logical step by step approach to locate the source of the moisture and repairing the damage walls. Because of the cold weather, water testing needed to be delayed. The weather continued to be a problem. Dave's crew were courteous and efficient. They were over as soon as the weather permitted. Although the issue was more involved than first anticipated, we never felt that we were taken advantage of. The options were always offered with in our best interest in mind. Given the circumstances, the work was completed in a timely manner and the repairs look fantastic. HRT is advertised as a company with heart. We fully agree with that statement. We would definitely give HRT construction an A+ for workmanship and professionalism.
