We were already excited to be trying these fancy cheeses but the added attention to detail made it much more exciting. Next, the cheeses they selected were all different textures and styles, which was perfect for the knife set I got my partner! He got to try every knife with each cheese the way they were meant to be used, and he had so much fun learning how to cut and serve each variety. Not only was the taste of each cheese absolutely to die for, but they gave fair sized pieces that have lasted us at least 2 cheese boards! We can't stop talking about how much of a steal $40 for 4 wedges of such quality cheeses and service was; compared to buying separate mid-range cheeses from a normal store.When I went to pick it up, I left the instructions that I wanted packaging without any labels since I would have to hide it in my fridge, but I suck at keeping secrets, so I brought my partner with me to pick it up. The shop was small but SO beautiful inside! The staff were really attentive to all the customers, and they had my order waiting for me upon arrival! As asked, there were no labels on the outside bag, but they included a nice, labeled bag on the inside so the presentation would still be special!Overall, I am BEYOND impressed with everything! We're already planning our next visit back :

Mike Rapaport: I haven't tried any of the cheese I purchased as of yet, so I can't review that. However, the people working there are friendly and helpful. I had the Reese Pieces ice cream, which was good, but could have been more creamy.

The staff were super helpful too.Branding wise, especially with the decorative cow sculpture placed at the top of their building, it reminded me of a super cute ‘authentically’ cheese store in Toronto Kensington market. This one is not that kind of cheese store.They seem to have a limited variety of cheese.

Miss Asia Canada Vancouver, BC Patty C: When I went to Winnipeg for the first time around May, I was told to hit up this local ice cream shop. The origins behind the ice cream parlor was touching and I immediately wanted to try their signature ice cream which was the Abir Al Sham-- A traditional Syrian recipe using rose and orange blossom water, perfected with toasted pistachios and cashews, ricotta cheese, and orchid root powder. As you read, the description sounded mysteriously amazing already. The taste was not too sweet or overpowering and something about it made me want more. To this day, I am still craving their ice cream that I even emailed to ask if they could deliver to BC, but of course, it was not possible yet hahaha.

Sidney Shapira: We always enjoy our excursions to Mottola Grocery in True North Square. As usual, we pucked up a still-warm rotisserie chicken, which turned out to be moist and tasty when we got it home. We also took home two scones for our next day's breakfast. We love the tomato jam and smoked olives, but didn't need any on this trip. We look forward to returning, soon.

Carol Schlamb: We got a carrot torte cake for my son’s birthday, it was moist and delicious, the cream cheese icing was amazing. We always get our birthday cakes from here because they are simply the best in Manitoba. Everything is top notch. Their quiche, homemade bread and Italian sausage are favourites.
