On the morning of Good Friday, which was April 7 I decided to go to the website and check out if they had the records that I was interested in buying as it turned out they had all of them I decided to go to the store and I arrived shortly after they opened, which was noon and I was greeted by Kurtis who was working on this day and I had seen Kurtis there before. He always treated me very well And because of a physical limitation I have I just kind of told him the records that I wanted he went and picked them for me him and each and everyone of them, and it was a few, and we had an excellent conversation. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and just an all-around great experience. I highly recommend Argys for all your music needs . They had a lot of cool stuff. Thank you again for being there for all of us. Music fans!!

Kevin Craig: I live in Ottawa and have ordered from Argy's now after a friend suggested them. The site is easy to use and selection is pretty good. We had one mix-up on an order and they were great in helping us resolve it. What seals the deal for me is how they ship their records. They come bubble wrapped and put in a thick cardboard box made for the records, plus they are insured. Amazing service and I look forward to buying more!

The staff are really nice and chill. Willing to help when you need but definitely not overbearing. There is a lot to take in so I appreciate the staff isn't hounding you to help or buy something. The store is clean and kinda smells like an old library! Parking in back is available but small lot so you may have to park on the street

Daniel Roscoe: Full disclosure, I visited this gallery because Elizabeth Sellors is a friend of mine and I admire her work.This gallery is a long ways out of my way but it is a really nice place and I'm glad I had a reason to visit. There was a wide range of work on display and available, from paintings through digital to ceramics and everything was reasonably priced for original art pieces. I had a nice chat with the owner about a very old family heirloom I was looking at having conserved and re framed and I liked his professionalism and attitude.Now, the real reason I went in the first place was the exhibition of a local artist's works. I've included a sampling of her paintings here and you can see that they are an interesting mix of realism and abstractionism that all speak to a love of painting and a love of the countryside. I've heard of almost all the sites she has painted, and have visited a good number of them myself in my wanderings. Her images make me want to visit the ones I haven't been to yet which is a pretty good indication that her work is of the highest quality. I am particularly impressed with her rending of the cloudscapes as they are not only realistic, but I think very accurate from a meteorological aspect. I am still working on fluffy white happy clouds myself so to see an image and recognize stratus, cumulus or stratocumulus in the painting is impressive.If you live near St Vital Centre I recommend you pop in and take in her exhibition and check out the gallery.
