Jeremy Boutin: We had a great mid-August Wednesday evening tour. Our guide, Captain Vern, was very informative. He had a great mix of historical tales and more recent stories that kept us all entertained, and could improvise to answer any questions that came from the crowd.Safety is a big focus, with life jackets put on all children before boarding, and other safety devices identified during a pre-tour discussion.Costs were reasonable, with a family of four running around $50. I felt we got good value for our money.

The young man who drove the boat and did the tour was knowledgeable, kind and kept the tour light with humour. The man who tied up the boat and helped us off was also very kind. Everyone was warm and welcoming and that made the experience special for me and my son. The river was beautiful, the boat was clean, the ride was peaceful and I enjoyed the history and facts. The tour was about 30 minutes which was just long enough for my son. I could have cruised all morning. I was very impressed and I am looking forward to bringing more family next time.
Karl Wierzbicki: Took the Splash Dash River tour with Verne last weekend and had a ball. He is a great guide -- very knowledgeable and a natural entertainer and storyteller. Also, a great boat captain. The tour is lively, well-paced. You cover a lot of sights but never feel rushed.

We walked into Cruise World and basically said - we want to go on a winter cruise to someplace warm and beautiful, and have everything taken care for us with no unpleasant surprises. Well, they delivered.Our very first cruise was a 7 day western Caribbean with Princess. Cruise world took care of everything - Helping us find the perfect cruise line, itinerary, booking a balcony cabin, the flight out, hotel, transfers, etc. They were professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. And as promised we had an excellent first cruise. We enjoyed our cruise so much we booked another cruise with Cruise World 2 years after. And then another one 2 years after that, and a few more every couple of years.Cruise World became our go-to place when we wanted to book a Caribbean cruise. They are super knowledgeable, friendly, and they really know their stuff. If you are thinking about cruising go see them, if you have cruised before, go seem them. You will not be sorry.

Jamie Sheldon: We’ve had multiple exceptional experiences with LATravel over the years, from our wedding in Mexico to family vacations in various warm destinations. Chris and Juphell are well versed in resort accommodations and finding the absolute best value choices to meet and exceed our needs. Our most recent travel in Feb 2022 was everything we hoped and needed - resort was close to Cancun with great food, rooms, beach - it checked all our boxes including price. We were also provided full insurance at a reasonable cost just in case covid issues occurred, which they did not. I can’t say enough great things about the two gents running things, and look forward to planning my 10 year anniversary in 2023 with their services.

Update : turns out I was not worth the time to show me options, was told to figure everything what I wanted and they would get me a price, I did that without paying them to get a price. I thought a travel agent did the leg work for you ? unfortunately will not use Transat Travel again.

Within mins Michelle contacted us to let us know of this and had us rebooked on a new destination with same budget.
