People ask us on a continual basis why we use a travel consultant, especially since we could arrange much of it ourselves. The answer is easy - we trust her and in many cases she finds deals or air travel that we would not have discovered. On complicated routes she has probably saved us several thousand dollars and made our air travel so much simpler. Then add in if there are any issues with the airlines, cruise companies, etc - Megan fights the battle for us and the companies listen to a travel agent who has the power not to use them in the future. We are completely satisfied with Cruise Vacations and refer their services to many of our friends and acquaintances.

Jeremy Boutin: We had a great mid-August Wednesday evening tour. Our guide, Captain Vern, was very informative. He had a great mix of historical tales and more recent stories that kept us all entertained, and could improvise to answer any questions that came from the crowd.Safety is a big focus, with life jackets put on all children before boarding, and other safety devices identified during a pre-tour discussion.Costs were reasonable, with a family of four running around $50. I felt we got good value for our money.

The young man who drove the boat and did the tour was knowledgeable, kind and kept the tour light with humour. The man who tied up the boat and helped us off was also very kind. Everyone was warm and welcoming and that made the experience special for me and my son. The river was beautiful, the boat was clean, the ride was peaceful and I enjoyed the history and facts. The tour was about 30 minutes which was just long enough for my son. I could have cruised all morning. I was very impressed and I am looking forward to bringing more family next time.
Karl Wierzbicki: Took the Splash Dash River tour with Verne last weekend and had a ball. He is a great guide -- very knowledgeable and a natural entertainer and storyteller. Also, a great boat captain. The tour is lively, well-paced. You cover a lot of sights but never feel rushed.

Update : turns out I was not worth the time to show me options, was told to figure everything what I wanted and they would get me a price, I did that without paying them to get a price. I thought a travel agent did the leg work for you ? unfortunately will not use Transat Travel again.

Karen Belcourt: We booked with Michelle in 2021 to travel in 2022 to Mazatlan , due to the restrictions for travel with COVID we decided to cancel and got a travel credit. We decided to rebook our travel plans to the same destination for 2023. Sunwing had some cancelations and changes to flights out of Winnipeg completely out of our control and Michele’s. Within mins Michelle contacted us to let us know of this and had us rebooked on a new destination with same budget. Heather D: Edit January 25, 2023 - CAA responded to my complaint with a very kind email and a coupon I can use toward renewing my membership. I was originally upset because customer service did not apologize or even acknowledge that a mistake had been made. I've updated my review. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes.In the past I have had great service with CAA. Not today! I called for information about their battery replacement service that seemed to good to be true. Well, it is too good to be true. When I called this afternoon, to my surprise, I was told that someone would arrive within the hour. Five hours later he showed up with no battery, with the intent of boosting my car. I don't need a boost. After speaking to customer service, apparently I need to call back tomorrow to have the call removed from my account. Zero stars.

People should come here to get Winnipeg souvenirs, it’s a hidden goldmine. Also in the shop are so many helpful travelling things: luggage, bed bug spray, lights, things to get your car unstuck, clothing and hats.

We had 115 guests come out to Mexico for a one week wedding vacation last month and it all worked out without any major hiccups!!My wife and I are extremely pleased at the quality of service we received from Chris and Juphell over the last two years planning our destination wedding. They are professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and can make things happen under time constraints! I would definitely recommend any group to book with LA Travel.10/10 would use again!
Jamie Sheldon: We’ve had multiple exceptional experiences with LATravel over the years, from our wedding in Mexico to family vacations in various warm destinations. Chris and Juphell are well versed in resort accommodations and finding the absolute best value choices to meet and exceed our needs. Our most recent travel in Feb 2022 was everything we hoped and needed - resort was close to Cancun with great food, rooms, beach - it checked all our boxes including price. We were also provided full insurance at a reasonable cost just in case covid issues occurred, which they did not. I can’t say enough great things about the two gents running things, and look forward to planning my 10 year anniversary in 2023 with their services.
