Saoirse Johnson: Extremely quick with helping me despite the busyness. Staff were reasonably friendly despite noncompliance from patients with protocols. They pretty quickly caught on to me being trans without my input and recorded my preferred name and pronouns. Clinic closes at 6PM I think, not 9PM.

Melanie Cherevaty: Dr. Al-Safar at Main West Clinic has been our family doctor for the last five years. We have had many moves and were so happy to find ourselves in the care of this clinic. Rarely have I felt that listened to with a thorough analysis of symptoms and treatment. Dr. Al-Safar is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor that has quickly gotten us into specialist care when needed. Sometimes the wait in the front reception has been long, but I do feel this is understandable also being a walk-in clinic. Always an exceptional experience with this doctor!

Havent been there in about 10 years when I moved downtown.Receptionist was sweet, friendly, I didnt have to wait too long and the doctor was decent.Probably wont be back only because I live downtown and I dont drive and it was a long bus ride gettin there when not feeling good but will if needed.Thank you!

I had an STD screening done from here, I had an call in appointment which was super convenient and easy and all i had to do was pick up my prescriptions from the office and go right to life labs. Not to mention, the people at St. Johns medical helped me understand my results and explained them to me as I didn't understand there were two separate tests and sent me a copy of them for my future records! All in all it was a super easy an convenient process and they were so nice in proving me information even months after I had the testing done. I definitely recommend this place!

The newest doctor here, Dr. Oliverio is a very pleasant and professional doctor who took the time to help me and did not make me feel rushed or that that he was in a rush. My appointment was right on time and I did not have to wait at all. The receptionist was very pleasant, timely, and professional. I'm so happy things are running smoothly here again as I have used this clinic for many years!!

S. S: . She did exam me and noticed that my pain is related to something that did not make sense to me but when she explained I understood. She referred me and she called the specialist's office personally in front of me to make sure that they received the fax and emphasized that I needed to be seen ASAP.My daughter had eating problem and doesn't like to see doctors but the way that this nurse practitioner communicate with her she likes to see her and listenes whatever she tells her. She is gaining weight gradually and eating better than before. I think we should be fair when we judge and it is important that how we behave and to know the lomit of our expectations.

Kristine L.: First time going in today for the walk in clinic, it was great and the people there are very friendly and the doctor gave me a medicine for what I came for and also gave me a paper to have me tested just to check if I'm all good and nothings wrong, I'll be coming back here next week again for the tests. I'm glad I chose to come there. I don't regret it and would definitely come here again. This walk-in clinic will be my 2nd option if my personal doctor isn't available 😊 it's a bit far from my place, but it's definitely worth it!

All physicians including Dr. Tran, Dr. DeRubeis, Dr. Shittu, and Dr. Colterjohn have provided excellent and appropriate care, and had great bedside manner. Follow up calls regarding test results were also made promptly. While it may be difficult at times to reach the clinic by phone, making appointments using the MyHealthAccess website has been seamless and consistently reliable. Would recommend!
Gillian Henry: Sad to see all these negative reviews and experiences with Dr. Shittu. I personally had nothing but positive experiences with him as my doctor last year when I was dealing with severe gut health problems from stress. Dr. Shittu listened to me and referred me to the appropriate tests so I could be diagnosed. I hope he moves on somewhere where he’ll be appreciated and happy. Sad loss for Locke St walk in as I know doctors are in short supply! Only 4 stars as similarly to others I find the appointment booking and wait times to be egregiously long for people who book in advance and come on time. I hope this can be solved once the staffing issues are resolved.
Melanie Perron: I was shocked to read these reviews. Myself and my husband both received excellent care from Dr Shittu and we were very sorry to see him leave. His untimely departure has left the clinic in a very difficult position. There are doctor shortages everywhere. At times it was difficult to understand only due to masking. Dr. Shittu is a highly educated physician who worked in emergency medicine in England prior to coming to Canada.I wanted to post this review as his reputation is being disparaged and that was not my experience. I pray he returns.
Toko O: I met Dr Tunde Shittu few months ago for a medical condition I had been struggling with for several months. I had seen multiple physicians with no resolution. After having 2 consultations with Dr shittu & he made the diagnosis. Started me on treatment and it changed my life.He was very polite, considerate, professional and friendly. He discouraged me from relying on controlled medication including narcotics and benzos. Now I am a better person. Can’t thank him enough. It’s sad he is leaving the practice and I will miss him dearly.

She understood my unique situation and worked with me to make sure I had the right medical care and medications needed. She always reads reports from other physicians and even caught a lapse in care and called me to discuss. She goes well above and beyond for her patients and I feel grateful she is my primary doctor!

I had an injury a few years ago and she has been amazing advacating for me with specialists and testing. She is very professional, effeciant and even when she is short in time, she still takes the time to listen. She was even seeing patients in the office through the pandemic unlike so many other doctors out there all because she truly cares!Her staff is also very friendly and you always get a smile and nice greeting even when I'm sure they are having a hectic day. Only complaint is the chairs are uncomfortable if you are in pain, but I won't go down a star for just that. Would definitely recommend and I will go back if I need a walk-in again.Note: Like most walk-ins wait times can be drawn out. So unless you show up bright and early at open time, expect a 45 to 90 minute wait. It gets busy after 10-11am to close.
