Jimmy Thompson Memorial Pool: what do users think?

The Family: Amazing pool. Also has grrat rec and youth programs. Including summer camps. Highly recommended pool.

Milica T.: Excellent pool and everything is clean and tidy, the staff is outstanding. The parking lot is smaller, but there is a place to park in the surrounding streets.

Michelle Scott: Sin went here for a school swim meet. He loves coming here to swim, will update with a couple pics next time son goes for a swim meet

Mary: The pool is very well kept and clean, and staff are amazing. I swim there every weekday. One of the best parts, the pool is always at the right temperature. This is a well staffed pool with friendly swimmers.EDIT: This is my all time favourite pool in Hamilton. I wish I could swim in the early morning here around 6 or 630. I find it difficult to leave work mid day, swim and come back. I would gladly swim here every day if they changed their hours. I cannot day enough good things about this pool and staff.

Keandell Clyde Arcenal Pineda: I like that this pool is about 9 feet deep. Well taken care of , has the right water temperature. Just missing a dive board and it’s perfect. 👍🏼

Blue Orchid: The pool was clean and warm, with no real deep end but a great pool for kid's not so much for swimming laps a really nice new pool .

Vikas Sood: No universal change rooms

Tree Shop (Tree): I do the Water fit class 3 x a week...the only complaint I have is the Water fit instructor on Mondays has no energy for teaching this class....she walks through everything on the slow motion button...and skips things....I really don't know why she is teaching this class when she acts like she doesn't want to be there.....the instructor who is there on Wednesday and Friday is awesome....she makes you want to work it.... thanks for her on Wednesday and Thursday....she is totally awesome...

H.G. Brewster Pool: what do users think?

Leena Maria John: Neat place. Enjoyed the open swims on Tue and Thursdays.

DIANA FOX: This is a large well maintained swimming pool and I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff! From the receptionist to the life guards, everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The oversized pool was not very busy and actually had hardly anyone in it so admittedly the lifeguards weren't terribly busy but they were so wonderful with my grandson! The young man dragged the little basketball net over for him to play with and even spent time with him teaching him how to dive properly! The young lady tossed a ball with him for a bit also.

norman t: The community pool with an 80's vibe. Friendly staff but change rooms can get a little cramped when its busy. The swimming instructors and staff are very friendly and helpful.

S Q: I do my adult swim classes here - my instructor is amazing. I’ve definitely come a long way since I started.Pool is clean and warm; change room is spacious.

Jane W: Maryanne just introduced a new waterfit class backed up with Swing Music! Loads of smiles and laughter. Excellent waterfit classes! Good pool. Maryanne is amazing, wow, really enjoy her waterfit classes. Loving it!

Robin Fish: I bring my boys here for swimming lessons. Decent sized parking and change rooms are reasonably clean.

Cassandra Hertel: It's fun

Akhil Gupta: Nice decent size pool. The staff was super friendly and had a great time. We went in the morning so there weren't too many people so it was less crowded. Parking can be confusing as there are many reserved parkings.

Gino Cavicchioli: Fabulous pool. Friendly staff, great place to do lengths in the morning. We have been coming here for the past 5 years

Goldfish Swim School - Burlington ONT: what do users think?

angel charette: We had tried other swimming lessons and saw our son get less comfortable in the pool due to large classes and feeling unsafe. Love the quick progress we are seeing here. A well thought out methodology and small classes have brought great results. The tropical vibe is fun too!

Pooja Kamat: Gold fish is an amazing place for your kids to learn swimming. My kids truly enjoy the sessions and the instructors are very helpful. What I like best is the email they share on the child’s progress.

Sophie Heijselaar: We have been very pleased having weekly classes here. We tried the jumpstart classes a few years ago but it was too short, too frequent. Our kids have learnt and gotten much more comfortable in the water from their weekly classes.

Rimpy Kanwar: My kids love the swim lessons over there. Friendly staff.

Lynne Townsend: has tremendous patience with her and doesn’t force her to do anything she isn’t ready for yet! I love that there isn’t any pressure to move up to the next level and kids can do it at THERE OWN TIME

Andrea Palmieri: Been taking my son since he was 2. He is 4 now. Swims like a Goldfish now. A+

Kunal Shroff: It's a positive space, with encouraging and hard working staff.

Susan Chatland: A great swim school with the best instructors!

Sava Rakas: I am beyond thrilled with the entire set up and skills Goldfish Swim School brings to both of my children. Their staff to student ratio and constant eyes and support ensure the kids are set up for success. LOVE!

Ryan Spencer: Love taking my daughter to this facility! Very friendly staff, well maintained, very clean, and Ms.Rachel is so much fun when running her classes!

Amanda Williamson: Very welcoming environment for the children.

brent Baker: Very convenient and ongoing so no waiting by the phone trying to get into lessons like buying concert tickets.

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Burlington: what do users think?

Peter Bonfiglio: Aqua-tots has been amazing for our son! He’s been thriving with Coach Arielle O. ! She’s given him the confidence to become an independent swimmer and we are so grateful! It’s a wonderful place, so well run, and everyone is so helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

Elena Luzhanoffsky: Amazing swimming classes for little ones!I love the fact that the pool is warm unlike at any other classes where they rent the cold community pools. The instructor was great - she quickly found her way around our child and connected with him. The training is built with progression in mind for the kids age and comfort level in the pool, which I feel other classes don't offer as well.Great experience so far!Lastly, the main fact that brought us to this company from another is that you can actually reschedule your classes and don't lose those precious and super expensive 30 minutes of swimming per week. I haven't explored the app yet, but I saw the option right there. Super convenient as you never know what can happen and if you can make it to the class especially if you have a smaller baby.

Kate Ribbins: It is a great experience! The instructors are clearly well trained and genuinely care about the kids they are teaching! It is a great environment every week! Very kind and supportive to everyone! My son’s instructor Arielle has been so amazing with him. He went from not wanting to put his head underwater to looking forward to swimming with her every week! He feels confident and capable now and we definitely owe it all to her! Thank you!!

Reena: Front office to coaches are superb. Everyone is so humble and helpful. My daughter loving it so far.

Victoria Tabak: We take our daughter here for swim lessons twice a week and she absolutely LOVES it. We will never take her anywhere else for swimming.

Kathryn Taylor: We’ve had a great experience at Aqua-Tots Burlington! ALL the staff are wonderful and kind. The flexibility of making up a class when missing one is great! The number of available options for every Level is key too! Additionally, and perhaps most important, is that I feel much more at ease knowing that the kids are learning to be comfortable in and under the water with their pro-submersion philosophy and learning keep developmental skills in water safety and enjoyment!

FLEXAFIT: Great place for swimming lessons! Thank you!!! Always the friendliest staff to welcome us.

Alanna Hutchinson: Excellent, friendly, extremely helpful and wonderful staff!

Tara Richmond: My son has been going to Aqua Tots for two years. He has become such a competent little swimmer. He loves his coaches and it’s obvious they care about him as well.I appreciate the ability to track his progress through their app so I can work on things at home with him outside of class time.I’ve heard some parents complain about the cost vs the length of class time. I believe 25 minutes is a good amount of time. I can see my son learning new things week over week so the limited time clearly works. He also gets to engage his peers during lessons and build relationships. So long as my son continues to want to swim, we will continue to be at Aqua Tots.

Lisa Clifford: class like can happen with some other coaches. We’ll miss having her as our regular coach. Coach Shay keeps everything running smoothly during the week with a nice clean and dry change room. Parking is ok during the week but you should give a bit of extra time on the weekends.

Dundas Community Pool: what do users think?

Vasco Nunes: Spacious and pleasant place. It responds well to the needs of the surrounding community.

Stephanie V: Occasional swimmer at 18+ open and length. Friendly staff and courteous patrons. Comfortable pool temperature, only salt water pool in Hamilton. It sucks that the lockers cost $0.25 to use and change rooms could use upgrading.

JoAnn Zomer: Local swimming pool - where everyone knows your name!

Shalana Switzer: Great staff here. The pool is nice. I've been for both lane swim and water fit. Can be busy! The change room could use an update but I've seen worse.

James Lawrence: Love this place!

El Paco Rico: Awesome staff who go above and beyond thanks Tillia....

Linda Johnson: The water temperature in the ladies showers is too hot. Especially for older skin and young children. Reported my concerns to the City of Hamilton recreational department to no avail.

Sharon Cahill: The front line people, when you enter, are so professional and kind. If u can't figure something out with schedule or booking on line, they all go above and beyond to help you work it out.The waterfit instructor on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is the best I have worked with in 15 years. She works the whole body. Her music is perfect, and the 45 minutes is over before you know it..The lifeguards that work at poolside during lengths sessions are top shelf. They keep a close eye on all participants, which is no easy task. They make great suggestions to make your session successful. Tks

Taylor Hayter: Love this place

Dave Peter: Friendly and efficient staff. Great place to swim.

Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts - Independent Day School: what do users think?

Karen Sheahan: Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts is a little gem of a school. Our daughter struggled in regular school, she was barely passing her subjects, even with an IEP she still struggled. This is our second year at HAPA and my daughter is now achieving an A average and now she can finish most of her work at school. The knowledge she comes home with, the incredible experiments and activities... she is actually learnings! Our daughter has a ton of energy and is happy when being picked up having enjoyed school every day! The older girls mentor the younger students, they have mutual respect for each other and could not be happier that she is loved and accepted by everyone. There is no stress now having left the public system, my daughter's individual needs are being met. The small classroom sizes help our daughter remain engage, she learns at her level and pace. The tuition is a sacrifice we are making for our daughter's future. She was dancing at a high level and is supported by the dance program. The ballet program is both exceptional and safe for dancers as they work with dancers with goals of longevity of their dance career by preventing injury. They put the dancers needs first, they are very knowledgeable and respected professionals in the industry. If you are considering this school, don't let the size affect your decision. This is an amazing school where everyone is nutured and cared for. You will not be disappointed by investing in your child's future and happiness.

Kevin Lima: My daughter goes here and I couldn't be happier. The small class sizes and attention given to academics and dance is amazing. All the teachers are so caring and want the best for their students. The ballet is superb as can be seen in their performance in the annual Nutcracker. The students also excel at singing and acting. My daughter's confidence has increased tenfold since joining the school two years ago.

Patti Cannon: My granddaughter attends the school and wants to be a professional Ballet Dancer. She has excelled under the training of Max Ratevosian, Ballet Master and former Principal Dancer and choreographer for Moscow State Ballet Theatre. Not only do the students receive professional dance training, have the opportunity to dance on the professional stage to a live orchestra but they also excel at their academic programs.

Luda P: The school strives for and achieves the best!

Janice Wilson: The choreography for the performances of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker was unparalleled.
