Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes will give your child the ability to defend themselves in the case that someone grabs them, pushes them to the ground or is controlling them physically due to greater size or strength. Techniques taught include break falls (learning how to fall safely), positional escapes, take downs, proper use of leverage/body weight and submission holds (10 & up only).

Absolutely phenomenal gym. You will learn more in one year here than you would in two years at most other gyms. Jeff and the entire Joslin’s Team are a great bunch, very supportive learning and training environment. Jeff is a natural teacher who puts a lot of planning into each class. The level of detail and expertise he puts into his classes is very hard to find elsewhere. The number of talented, hard working, and respectful training partners at Team Joslin’s is also very hard to find elsewhere. I spent three years at Joslin’s MMA and had to move for work. It has been very hard to find another gym that compares! If you are lucky enough to live nearby, or even if you are just passing through the area, you have to check this gym out!

First time starting a martial art in mid-40s. Joined with teenage son and early twenties daughter. Jeff’s instruction is fantastic, you learn the fundamentals while getting great exercise and having fun.

Have opened up 2 additional Wado Kai Karate/Jiu-Jitsu classes for 10-17 year olds. The classes are Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30-6:15pm and Sat from 9:00-9:45am.
