Alris Araojo: My 4 year old son just started classes with Mikey and so far he LOVES it. Mikey is very friendly, professional, helpful and the price for the classes are great! I would highly recommend them. It’s a very family friendly environment and a great way for our kids to use their energy while learning an amazing sport. Plus, the instructor is a world champion so they’ll literally be learning from the best.

Monique Thornton: Mickey is kind, welcoming and helpful. I've taken fitness classes with Tracy & Bradley. The classes are affordable and great cardio workouts. Tracy & Bradley are very attentive and encouraging and most importantly they make the classes fun.

My daughter is 10 now and started when she was 2 and a half and my son is 7 and joined when he was three.They absolutely LOVE jiujitsu and have made so many friends. Jiujitsu has also provided them with so much confidence and discipline.This family owned business is highly recommend by my family.The Owner Mickey, his family and staff are always so very welcoming and professional.The club is always kept clean.Thank you Mickey and staff for being amazing with my children for all of these years and making us feel like part of the family.Check out the classes, there is something for everyone.

Cathy Stewart: I have been attending the fitness classes now for nearly a year, since covid has stopped and we have been allowed to get back to the gym. I must say the fitness classes are very good. the instructors are caring, patient and really there to help you do your best at each workout. The fitness classes at Wood's Martial Arts, I love the most are kickboxing, you feels the burn as the instructors say, and you will get results.

Sam Stewart: The owner/instructors were great with me right from when I joined until the moment I had to cancel my policy early due to a combination of spending most of the week away from Hamilton and having to work regular evenings.The instructors are excellent and make the experience fun but challenging as well. They encourage you to push yourself, but never push you beyond your limits. The facilities are clean and well maintained and the equipment is high quality. Beginner friendly.It is quite expensive, but I would say that this is due to the quality of service.

Learning capoeira was slightly intimidating at first but Mike, Emily, and the rest of the class are a supportive group who make you feel right at home. They take the time to build you up and get the best out of you. On top of having great exercise and making good friends, you get the chance to learn traditional capoeira instuments and learn about the culture, allowing you to have a new appreciation for this art form. The experience is top notch and anyone should be proud to be part of this group!
