She gladly look up items and retrieved them for me so I can try it on. I got to the change room and was informed of the special event and I was so happy to get free treats!! I didn’t ask for the right size again but the two ladies in the change room were so happy to help. This was on Friday May 20, all the staff member greeted me with a great hello and were ready to help without being pushy for sales. One of the best shopping experiences I ever had anywhere. The girls working that evening need to be recognized for there wonderful customer service.

Dolores collins: My husband bought me my first pair of Doc Martens and Vans for my 65 birthday in 2020 to cheer me up due to the pandemic. Both are the most comfortable I have ever worn. I will be going back this fall for a new pair of Van's, but my Doc's have broken in they feel like slippers. My husband calls me his little grandma in her Doc.
Robert Scozzari: This store should be a registered landmark of Hamilton, Ontario. I bought my first pair of Doc Martens here in 1988. I love this store!

Whether you need hard to find Vans or band shirts, or patches, or pretty much anything music related, there is only one place to go, Rockin' Tees. Shakiel has been killing it down there forever, if you have never been, you need to go check it out. If nothing else, the atmosphere will remind you of a time when going to find a new band shirt without a care in the world, when stores were organic and real. Go, now, tell him Jeff sent you.

I've bought a few things here over the years and they last well, made well and I get so many compliments. Most recently I bought the coolest purse ever and mentioned that Cinderella was my childhood favorite, they're going to see if they can get more. So cool.
B: I was at Lime Ridge mall for another reason when a beautiful dress caught my eye. I didn’t know that Blackbird Studio moved to Lime Ridge from James Street North! The new location is bright and beautiful. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. I bought the Ricky dress which is very flattering and will be perfect for spring summer events!

Lyn and Kerry are wonderful local designers!This summer I needed an extra special dress for my son's small outdoor "covid" wedding. The first place I thought of was Blackbird Studios and I was not disappointed! They helped me find the most Stunning dress! Even my mask was a blackbird original. I had so many wonderful compliments.I know it is difficult to get out during these pandemic times so I recommend you check out their website. They have the most wonderful limited run designs in a variety of sizes. Even my mother in her early 80's has purchased pieces from the shop.Thank you Lyn, Kerry and Staff for always helping me find something wonderful!
