Piano Centre: what do users think?

Jessica Wong: I settled on a Boston GP178 in satin black finish and after a few months' wait she arrived at my home all tuned & acclimatized for our lovely dry Edmonton weather. She sounds absolutely divine!I can't praise the team at Piano Centre enough! They are all super friendly and so patient with all my questions. Jay spent time getting to know my playing style and he noticed the quality of sound that I'm drawn to. He even asked Vince to voice my piano towards that style. The payment, trade in and pick-up/delivery process were all easy and smooth.I would definitely recommend popping in to check out their pianos. They have a great selection for all levels & playing styles. The best thing? They don't pressure you at all and they never make you feel like you need to be a "good" musician to talk to them or play the pianos. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

Alex Cislaru: Amazing staff! Went in today to just look around, was my first time there and the staff was so nice and let me play the most expensive piano in store. Honestly made my whole week. Will be coming back!!!!

Nivaldo Schwarz: I loved . After 4 years without.piano. I had the opportunity and joy of feeling my hands touch the keyboard, I loved it.

K Gordon: Visited Piano Centre Edmonton to look at new piano benches and Jay was so friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me tips on how to repair my old heirloom bench and also showed me a wide variety of new benches in my price range. I'll definitely be back once I decide what works best for me and highly recommend Piano Centre Edmonton for anyone looking for pianos, accessories, or lessons! They're the best!

Mary: The Piano Centre, as the name would suggest, is choc-a-block full of pianos of every kind: electric, manual and even combinations of the two. You can try them out to see which one has the feel you're looking for. The staff are very friendly and happy to assist in any way. There is plenty of free parking available. If you are looking for a piano this is the place to visit!

Kevin G: My son was looking for a new Roland digital piano as he had outgrown his older entry level Casio. The Roland digital piano's keyboard action and sound won him over. Piano Centre had a good selection of the pianos in stock and on the floor to play and compare. Thank you Geris for your patience with us - much appreciated!

Kerry Nghiem: We had a fantastic family experience buying a piano with Jay! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. We love our beautiful new piano and we're certain to get many years of enjoyment out of it. Highly recommended!

Victor Penner: We had a great family experience buying a piano here. The staff were knowledgeable and patient.

Andrea Polasek: Had a wonderful experience, they traveled down to our little city and did a seminar and brought absolutely beautiful pianos for people to try, a variety of uprights and even a baby grand! They were extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming to myself and my children as well, they invited us to try each piano and even stayed open a bit later for us. Excellent customer service, would very highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a piano, can’t wait to check out their store next time we go to Edmonton!

Safe Roofing: We are a roofing contractor, and we have musical passion too. That's where the Piano Centre comes in to help! One year ago, we got our first Roland keyboard from them, and a year later we went back and upgraded the keyboard to our first real piano. The service is professional and delightful. Fine products no roofing contractor can resist! We highly recommend them to anyone who is passionate about music & piano.2022 update: We sold our first real piano back to the Piano Centre and has upgraded it to our first baby grand piano. We adore our baby grand!

Naomi Chan: . They teach you what to look for in a piano while working with your budget and space availabilities. I definitely recommend visiting their showroom!

Graeme Harding: We recently bought a piano from The Piano Centre and we are very happy with it. Jay and the crew in store were knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. We got just the right instrument for us and delivery was top notch. Thanks so much, we love our piano!

N & C Dkkr: Incredibly knowledgeable staff, highly professional and very nice to work with. My kids are taking lessons here, which is amazing, thanks to Guy and Sabrina! Truly a joy!

Dennis Mcleod: Knowledgeable staff. Excellent tutors

Steven Driedger: Had just an absolutely fantastic experience with Jay and the Piano Centre. Living 8 hours away was not a hindrance to the service we received. All of my questions were answered with expert knowledge of the different Roland pianos, and Jay was willing to walk me through the assembly of the piano and its setup to achieve the experience I wanted while playing. We purchased a beautiful GP609 for our church and absolutely love it. Thanks so much!

Amadeus Music: what do users think?

Matteo LP: Currently taking lessons here for guitar. Love the friendly experience from the school! I also had a great time browsing their great big selection of guitars. 100% recommend to friends, and family. They have a wide variety of everything from Keyboards and Pianos, to Guitars and Pedals!

JJ Mracek: Amadeus was so helpful with purchase & delivery of our upright Yamaha!

Vinesh Rao: 12 years ago when I was 6 years old, Amadeus was responsible for installing a lovely Yamaha piano in my home. This instrument has been incredible for my mental health. Throughout high school, quarantine and other stressful periods of my life, I could always rely on playing my piano to uplift me. I am delighted that Amadeus is now sharing the gift of music through his business. From the variety of pianos, to music lessons, to the generous staff, there is plenty of happiness that one can gain from Amadeus music.

Kaneesha Ross: I have a few shows coming up that I am hosting for and needed a reliable/portable microphone that is easy to bring around. I browsed the website and saw one online that looked perfect for my needs, the staff put it off to the side for me. The location of this store is incredibly convenient/easy to get to & everyoe who works there are incredibly knowledgable and kind. This is my first time buying a mic like this & they made the whole process very easy so it wasn't overwhelming. They also have a very massive selection of everything an artist needs to get started or enhance their careers. I recommend checking this place out if you're looking for anything particular for your music or entertainment needs.

Bryce Wall: Lovely staff. And at least one of everything I like😀

Zhang Sunny: Thank you for the professionalism and patience.

Alex N: Went here today with a specific guitar in mind, after having tried it in a different color at a different store. At that different store, I was underwhelmed by awful out-of-the-box setup and lack of help from staff.Enter Amadeus Music, the store I wish I knew about earlier. This isn't just a music store that happens to sell Guitars - each guitar I tried was well setup, in tune, and kept in a humidity controlled room.Tim, the person who helped me, was helpful and knowledgeable, giving me enough time to try each guitar out while also providing input and information on other comparable options for me to try. I bought the guitar I came in for, confident that it was the one for me, and very happy with the experience.I'll be going here again, and recommend that you go too!

Spazz: I ordered my CVP last May when everything seemed to be in short supply. Amadeus kept in touch letting me know the status and being Canadian, apologetic for delays. When the floods happened in BC and my old keyboard had issues, I was given a loaner so that I could continue practising! I have no “regerts” and am very pleased that I chose Amadeus Music! Thank you!

Andrea Pinna: Marvelous....

Nikki H: Pleasant staff, great selection of hybrid pianos. I enjoyed the huge selection of music books.

Bryce O'Connor: and his staff were very pleasant and helpful in our quest to find our son a new piano to continue his lessons. Lessons which are offered by Amadeus Music...one stop shopping. My spouse and I totally recommend this store for all your piano needs and piano lessons. Great job everyone. 👏

Bernard Sprenger: Great selection of books, acoustic pianos, guitars… the list goes on!

Perry (Perry): Great experience. Bright and friendly and great people.

Trish McIsaac: Thank you Amadeus Music for helping us with our Yamaha piano purchase. There are lots of electronic pianos out there and lots of keyboards online but they left us with more questions than anything. Should we go piano or keyboard? How will we know what condition a second hand piano would be in? What if a key stops working? How can we, a couple of seniors, transport it? So we watched lots of YouTube videos on electronic pianos but we were left more confused than ever. Then we discovered Amadeus Music, a new piano store recently opened in Edmonton. All it took was one visit to your new lovely store today and all our questions were answered. You and you helpful staff gave us all the information we needed to make the right decision for us.We walked out very happy with our new Yamaha Piano! Reasonably priced with a 5 year warranty! That relieves a lot of our worries. Prompt same day delivery and first class service, we couldn’t be happier! Now all we need to do is practice, practice, practice.Thank you Amadeus! Good luck with your new store!Trish

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments: what do users think?

Roland Nadon: Knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain old fun. Many are professional musicians. Treat em well, and you'll get it back in spades.

Amanda Streit: Amazing customer service! Spiros and Connor stayed 20 minutes after closing to help me string a finicky ukulele. Thank you so much! Will get to play my show tonight thanks to them ! ⭐️ 🤠 😂

Carson Unknown: I take lessons and I also buy my gear here at long and mcquade north. Adam in the drum department has helped me alot with tips and advice, to get started on my journey in drumming. He is very knowledgeable with techniques and gear! Every time I come in I always leave with more knowledge about drumming.

Braeden Gibson: I went looking for a keyboard specifically to write music with and not only did Patrick find the perfect piano for me but he also got me the best deal and made everything super quick and easy.

coleton carnegie: Matthew was very helpful with his synth advice. A very nice and clean store.

Ron Ramos: Friendly, amazing staff! My wife bought me my first ever drum kit. Adam Hoang was the sales associate in the drum/percussion department who assisted her. She saw a boxing day price for a kit but came back a few days later. Price tag was still same but wasn't on boxing sale anymore. Adam went above and beyond to make sure she still gets the sale price. Great customer service, not just Adam but every staff in the store. Highly recommend to check this location.

Natalie Thurston: Today I had an awesome experience at Long and McQuade on 137 avenue in Edmonton. Our dog had completely destroyed the head of a beautiful Epiphone guitar to the point of impossible repair. Matthew took it upon himself to find a replacement guitar with a major discount. I picked it up today, and he had the body shined up and new strings were put on the instrument. Shout out to him and his coworker, they always go the extra mile for me when I am there. Love it, guys. Keep up the excellent work. 😁

Dylan DePape: I'm happy with their friendly services after visiting several times. Matthew is great to talk to along with the others. We're lucky to have such a down to earth music store in Edmonton.

Brendan W: Great experience and customer service.Sam was very helpful and took the time answer all my guitar tuning peg questions.Highly recommend

Ryan Northcott: went WAY above and beyond to find a solution for me.6-stars for this store and for these guys. I don't rent a lot of audio specific stuff normally, but when I do they will always have my business.

Mario Matak: Great person that works there

patti sch: They are very helpful and friendly

Steven Girard: Thank you Sean Besse at L&M Edmonton North for going over and above and beyond to help me get the Amp I was looking for. I initially wanted a Fender Rumble LT25 amp. However there was multiple issues that prevented me from getting this amp from other L&M Stores sending the wrong amp twice to the third one getting lost somewhere. Thank you again Sean for taking the time on Saturday Jan 21st to ensure I was taken care of as a loyal customer to L&M Edmonton North. He called around to a few L&Ms in the City of Edmonton to see if we could track down my second choice in amps and he was able to find one at the L&M Store South and ensured that I got the best deal. In the end I ended up with my second choice a Fender Rumble Studio 40.Thank you Sean for continuing the customer service that keeps me coming back to L&M Edmonton North.

Ike Fernan: Great sales staff and a lots of good stuff to select with

St John's Music: what do users think?

Rebecca G: Excellent customer service, went above and beyond! Bought my son his 1st guitar, got great tips and resource suggestions. I will happily refer people to this store and also be a returning customer. Thanks for being awesome!

Meena Raja: I was referred here for instrument rental by another music store. The rental as financing option is a great way to try an instrument without buying it. And they have used instruments. I highly recommend it, especially for kids who might change their minds every few weeks.

Ken Chong: Maria is very helpful, and staffs are very friendly.

Darren Ramsay: Wonderful store with very pleasant staff. I was immediately greeted and shown to the area of the store I was most interested in. After I left I went to Long & McQuaid and after being ignored there, I came back to St. Johns. Shauna was very helpful and we had a great discussion about guitars, ukeleles, banjos, and the like, and while they didn't have some of what I was looking for, they would have ordered them in for me, and if I lived in the area I would have taken them up on it. Bought one thing there, and will remember this store next time I'm in Edmonton.

Robyn Volk: We had a very lovely customer service experience today. It was my daughters birthday and shana cut a happy birthday paper and punched a free pick for her. We talked with the repair man about bringing her guitar in for repair and strings in a couple weeks and bought some new picks

Sarah Boyle: 3- High quality and interesting instruments on offer with some good deals 4+5 Customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful- but also didn’t mind explaining instruments to my 3 yr old. That’s a special thing right there. ❤️

angeline martin: Overall just lovely people great experience we will definitely be back

pukalo: Great place with lots of inventory

bsbne: Best brass instrument repair in town!

Fox Mori: Always a great place with friendly staff. Tons of advice if you just ask. Very professional compared to a few other places I've been too.

They did it all, and great advice and explanation with clear communication, fair pricing, and above and beyond customer services. Now our go-to place is definitely an experience that won't be forgotten.

Acoustic Music Shop: what do users think?

Elijah Mabana: Great shop. Wide selection of guitars and other gear.

B E: Recently purchased a Eastman acoustic. The service and communication from start to finish was great. Have no problem in recommending the Acoustic Music Shop. Thanks to all the team from AMS. 👍.

Brennen Morrison: Thank you to Rod and his amazing staff for bringing my Grandfather's acoustic guitar back to life. It was an arduous process and Rod was meticulous in his detail of repair and dedication to his craft!

Canuck-Guy: First time customer! Just had the fret ends shaved, leveled and the action lowered on my Breedlove 12 string, all done within the time frame quoted and at a very reasonable price. I won't hesitate to bring my other acoustics here for future maintenance. Of course I had to check out the store while I was there. Great selection of acoustics. I highly recommend this store. Thanks to the luthier tech and the staff.

Dustin Leigh Mattern: I've been going to this shop for years, and I feel it's time to give these guys a proper thank you.I have trusted them with my most prized and meaningful guitars and amplifiers for years. They are the best guitar store I've ever done business with, and no matter how crazy of a repair I have. They fix it in a way that you know it will last. And even if there was a problem, they fixed it as immediately as they could. This Shop truly cares about their customers and takes pride in their work.I'd always suggest checking them out before anywhere else.I always find the most interesting gear that you'd never expect you'd find there!

Kale Seguin: I brought my guitar for a full set up and have no complaints. Even tho Long & McQuade are cheaper, I highly recommend supporting local shops like this one. They’re clearly very experienced and care about their customers. Great Canadian made guitar selection too!

Nancy Lambert: as an out of towner I really appreciated all the help i got over the phone and email with these guys when picking out a beginner drum set. very easy to communicate with! special shout out to phil and brent who gave excellent advice on which set to buy and what accessories i needed. my brother has also sold used amps and guitars here and has had nothing but great experiences. thanks acoustic!

JT TH: Awesome boutique musical shop, and great staff. They take the time to answer all of your questions in a friendly and relaxed manner. Not sure how I never stumbled in here before but it’s my new go to guitar store moving forward. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

eric budd: Acoustic Music Shop is my go-to local music store ... which is funny cause I am a dialed-to-11 tube screamer type of electric player. So don't be fooled by the name.Acoustic have always done right by me. I've bought instruments, amps, pedals, supplies and parts from them. Nice rolling selection of used gear at fair prices. They are my trusted shop for guitar setups and repairs.

Shane Sellwood-Hughes: The headstock on my Les Paul was broken off. Brad did an amazing job reattaching. Aside from a barely noticeable scar the work was seamless. Also go some fret work done. Guitar is better than ever. Thank you!

Cynthia Goold: Great service when I went here today. Little dusty shop but they have lots of inventory to look at. Very cool display window on the way in with old mandolins and bangos and guitars. Very cool. We will be back.

Lillo's School of Modern Music Ltd: what do users think?

Samuel Grayson: I received excellent service from Lillo's as they guided me, someone with minimal accordion knowledge, towards the item I needed. I found out with minimal notice that I would need to fly with an accordion the next day and Lillo's was the only shop in Edmonton that was able to get me a case the same day. They even went above and beyond offering me additional packing materials to ensure I'd be able to get the instrument and its accessories on a plane the next day.Highly recommended.

Ethan Bardsley: Took my MIJ jazzmaster to Dove for repairs it was having a ton of electrical problems, after 24hrs it was completely re-wired and working great. I will be taking every guitar here from now on if it needs work that I can’t do !

Allison Delaney: Corrine was wonderful! Thank you for helping me rediscover my love for music

Stewart Bell: Excellent service

Vic Lillo: Finest musical instruments in Edmonton.

Shawn Acorn (Travel with the Acorns): I have been buying my instruments from here for over a decade. Love the vintage feel and the Hey Hey Hey greeting when I go see Victor Lillo. Sometimes you get lucky and get to meet a celebrity that shops here like Joe Perry from Aerosmith.

Anie MacRae: Wonderful place with very wonderful and amazing people.

Roland Huddleston (AWESOMELANDO): rolls out the red carpet for everyone that walks through the store. As an independently owned store you might not find everything you're looking for but you're almost guaranteed to find something. It's worth it just to check out the eye candy on the wall. I hope to have another twenty plus years shopping here.

JDM JDM: Very excellent service! Would love to come back anytime I need to

The Rock Shop: what do users think?

Eli L.: Love this place. I bought my piano and my guitar here. Everytime I've gone in here, Al has been the one working, and he's great to do business with. There was even a seperate occasion where I went in here to play a little bit, and some d-bag that had more skill than me heard me went up to the piano next to me and decided to upstage me, and after he left, Al noticed I had stopped playing, and he said something like "Don't worry about that guy, just keep playing". I really respected the heck out of him for saying that

Daniel Engelhardt: Wonderful place! The guy clearly makes accessibility of music a priority. Highly recommend this location.

Serge L: Spoke with Al about what I was looking for, he was very honest and pleasant do deal with; it was like calling an old friend for advice, which he gave. Had the guitar shipped to me, it shipped very fast, well-packed and was in perfect condition. I am very pleased with my new G&L. Based on my experience, I have no hesitation in recommending the Rock Shop.

Kathy D: Above and beyond service!! We needed strings, found what we needed quickly, and my son got a quick leaaon in playing before we left. As he was stringing it at home, one broke and we returned with our guitar and Al helped us with the issue, and tuned it and fixed another little issue for us.Very impressed with the knowledge and extra time taken to make ensure my son has a good start to learn to play.We are returning for certain.

Rudy Neumann: Had a setback recently, Broke my shoulder and that made using my guitars very difficult. Decided to explore an option .. a small bodied guitar. Again Al with his skill set evaluated my options within his existing stock.. Finally settled on a small body Fender CT 140. Great choice for me at this time and it should be a very suitable travel guitar. This is my 4th guitar purchase from this location. Also have a 12 string, an Ovation and a hollow body Gretsch. Add in a couple of amps to the mix and it is probably evident that I have a comfort level with this outlet.Yes this has been a Go To Location for me. Maybe to the chagrin of my wife.I do ask for a lot of forgiveness at home.

Gord Maidment: Always the best service and guitars are actually ready to play here, as opposed to OTHER PLACES..Big shout out to Al for helping me get what may be one of my last and best guitars! This thing plays so buttery you could baste a turkey with it!

Days Alone: My go to for important things. These guys actually care about their gear and make sure its in tip top before you test it.

Bum: Great selection, shopkeep is really helpful and respectful

david timothy anselmo: First time ordering a guitar online, Al was super helpful and made the whole process amiable and smooth. Would recommend going to them for your musical needs!

Ken Enjoys Life: These guys are top notch. Knowledgeable , willing to help and very passionate about music, ask them anything they will find a way to get you what you want. Ask for Roger, Rob or AL!

Karl Andriuk: Had an awesome experience getting a rare pedal that is only available on reverb and such. Good communication and very quick to fill the order. Thanks Al and everyone at the Rock Shop!

jay hannah: Stumbled in to the rock shop while exploring the mall. The guy working at the time was very friendly and helpful. I was just browsing and overheard him with another customer, his knowledge and customer service were top notch. Next time I'm in the market for a guitar or amp, the rock shop will be one of my first stops.

Red Ant Retro: Brought my 9y/o daughter to the store a couple the other weekend. She had been pulling my ear about getting a guitar since last year as so I finally decided I would give it a try and talked with Al and had all kinds of questions. I decided to go ahead and get her a small blue Beaver Creek acoustic that was up on his wall now that I knew what we were in for. I was really happy with the level of knowledge and information he was able to provide to a guitar newbie. (I asked a lot of questions! All was great, nice guy, not pushy at all and gave an honest opinion as if he were in my shoes. Above all that he even gave special attention in configuring and getting it setup for my daughter to use knowing we were out of town and wouldn't likely be back in the city for a while. Overall I couldn't have been happier with the level of service and care we got that day and will definitely be stopping by the shop the next time we are in town to have it adjusted/re-tuned.

Jordan Dick: Great store! The staff has improved over the past few years!

Carson Williams: Amazing services gave my brother tips on how to get better to!

ghazal dastournejad: There is a guy who work in the store. He helped us a lot and we found what we were looking for.
