Long & McQuade Musical Instruments: what do users think?

Roland Nadon: Knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain old fun. Many are professional musicians. Treat em well, and you'll get it back in spades.

Amanda Streit: Amazing customer service! Spiros and Connor stayed 20 minutes after closing to help me string a finicky ukulele. Thank you so much! Will get to play my show tonight thanks to them ! ⭐️ 🤠 😂

Carson Unknown: I take lessons and I also buy my gear here at long and mcquade north. Adam in the drum department has helped me alot with tips and advice, to get started on my journey in drumming. He is very knowledgeable with techniques and gear! Every time I come in I always leave with more knowledge about drumming.

Braeden Gibson: I went looking for a keyboard specifically to write music with and not only did Patrick find the perfect piano for me but he also got me the best deal and made everything super quick and easy.

coleton carnegie: Matthew was very helpful with his synth advice. A very nice and clean store.

Ron Ramos: Friendly, amazing staff! My wife bought me my first ever drum kit. Adam Hoang was the sales associate in the drum/percussion department who assisted her. She saw a boxing day price for a kit but came back a few days later. Price tag was still same but wasn't on boxing sale anymore. Adam went above and beyond to make sure she still gets the sale price. Great customer service, not just Adam but every staff in the store. Highly recommend to check this location.

Natalie Thurston: Today I had an awesome experience at Long and McQuade on 137 avenue in Edmonton. Our dog had completely destroyed the head of a beautiful Epiphone guitar to the point of impossible repair. Matthew took it upon himself to find a replacement guitar with a major discount. I picked it up today, and he had the body shined up and new strings were put on the instrument. Shout out to him and his coworker, they always go the extra mile for me when I am there. Love it, guys. Keep up the excellent work. 😁

Dylan DePape: I'm happy with their friendly services after visiting several times. Matthew is great to talk to along with the others. We're lucky to have such a down to earth music store in Edmonton.

Brendan W: Great experience and customer service.Sam was very helpful and took the time answer all my guitar tuning peg questions.Highly recommend

Ryan Northcott: went WAY above and beyond to find a solution for me.6-stars for this store and for these guys. I don't rent a lot of audio specific stuff normally, but when I do they will always have my business.

Mario Matak: Great person that works there

patti sch: They are very helpful and friendly

Steven Girard: Thank you Sean Besse at L&M Edmonton North for going over and above and beyond to help me get the Amp I was looking for. I initially wanted a Fender Rumble LT25 amp. However there was multiple issues that prevented me from getting this amp from other L&M Stores sending the wrong amp twice to the third one getting lost somewhere. Thank you again Sean for taking the time on Saturday Jan 21st to ensure I was taken care of as a loyal customer to L&M Edmonton North. He called around to a few L&Ms in the City of Edmonton to see if we could track down my second choice in amps and he was able to find one at the L&M Store South and ensured that I got the best deal. In the end I ended up with my second choice a Fender Rumble Studio 40.Thank you Sean for continuing the customer service that keeps me coming back to L&M Edmonton North.

Ike Fernan: Great sales staff and a lots of good stuff to select with

Acoustic Music Shop: what do users think?

Elijah Mabana: Great shop. Wide selection of guitars and other gear.

B E: Recently purchased a Eastman acoustic. The service and communication from start to finish was great. Have no problem in recommending the Acoustic Music Shop. Thanks to all the team from AMS. 👍.

Brennen Morrison: Thank you to Rod and his amazing staff for bringing my Grandfather's acoustic guitar back to life. It was an arduous process and Rod was meticulous in his detail of repair and dedication to his craft!

Canuck-Guy: First time customer! Just had the fret ends shaved, leveled and the action lowered on my Breedlove 12 string, all done within the time frame quoted and at a very reasonable price. I won't hesitate to bring my other acoustics here for future maintenance. Of course I had to check out the store while I was there. Great selection of acoustics. I highly recommend this store. Thanks to the luthier tech and the staff.

Dustin Leigh Mattern: I've been going to this shop for years, and I feel it's time to give these guys a proper thank you.I have trusted them with my most prized and meaningful guitars and amplifiers for years. They are the best guitar store I've ever done business with, and no matter how crazy of a repair I have. They fix it in a way that you know it will last. And even if there was a problem, they fixed it as immediately as they could. This Shop truly cares about their customers and takes pride in their work.I'd always suggest checking them out before anywhere else.I always find the most interesting gear that you'd never expect you'd find there!

Kale Seguin: I brought my guitar for a full set up and have no complaints. Even tho Long & McQuade are cheaper, I highly recommend supporting local shops like this one. They’re clearly very experienced and care about their customers. Great Canadian made guitar selection too!

Nancy Lambert: as an out of towner I really appreciated all the help i got over the phone and email with these guys when picking out a beginner drum set. very easy to communicate with! special shout out to phil and brent who gave excellent advice on which set to buy and what accessories i needed. my brother has also sold used amps and guitars here and has had nothing but great experiences. thanks acoustic!

JT TH: Awesome boutique musical shop, and great staff. They take the time to answer all of your questions in a friendly and relaxed manner. Not sure how I never stumbled in here before but it’s my new go to guitar store moving forward. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

eric budd: Acoustic Music Shop is my go-to local music store ... which is funny cause I am a dialed-to-11 tube screamer type of electric player. So don't be fooled by the name.Acoustic have always done right by me. I've bought instruments, amps, pedals, supplies and parts from them. Nice rolling selection of used gear at fair prices. They are my trusted shop for guitar setups and repairs.

Shane Sellwood-Hughes: The headstock on my Les Paul was broken off. Brad did an amazing job reattaching. Aside from a barely noticeable scar the work was seamless. Also go some fret work done. Guitar is better than ever. Thank you!

Cynthia Goold: Great service when I went here today. Little dusty shop but they have lots of inventory to look at. Very cool display window on the way in with old mandolins and bangos and guitars. Very cool. We will be back.

Amadeus Music: what do users think?

Matteo LP: Currently taking lessons here for guitar. Love the friendly experience from the school! I also had a great time browsing their great big selection of guitars. 100% recommend to friends, and family. They have a wide variety of everything from Keyboards and Pianos, to Guitars and Pedals!

JJ Mracek: Amadeus was so helpful with purchase & delivery of our upright Yamaha!

Vinesh Rao: 12 years ago when I was 6 years old, Amadeus was responsible for installing a lovely Yamaha piano in my home. This instrument has been incredible for my mental health. Throughout high school, quarantine and other stressful periods of my life, I could always rely on playing my piano to uplift me. I am delighted that Amadeus is now sharing the gift of music through his business. From the variety of pianos, to music lessons, to the generous staff, there is plenty of happiness that one can gain from Amadeus music.

Kaneesha Ross: I have a few shows coming up that I am hosting for and needed a reliable/portable microphone that is easy to bring around. I browsed the website and saw one online that looked perfect for my needs, the staff put it off to the side for me. The location of this store is incredibly convenient/easy to get to & everyoe who works there are incredibly knowledgable and kind. This is my first time buying a mic like this & they made the whole process very easy so it wasn't overwhelming. They also have a very massive selection of everything an artist needs to get started or enhance their careers. I recommend checking this place out if you're looking for anything particular for your music or entertainment needs.

Bryce Wall: Lovely staff. And at least one of everything I like😀

Zhang Sunny: Thank you for the professionalism and patience.

Alex N: Went here today with a specific guitar in mind, after having tried it in a different color at a different store. At that different store, I was underwhelmed by awful out-of-the-box setup and lack of help from staff.Enter Amadeus Music, the store I wish I knew about earlier. This isn't just a music store that happens to sell Guitars - each guitar I tried was well setup, in tune, and kept in a humidity controlled room.Tim, the person who helped me, was helpful and knowledgeable, giving me enough time to try each guitar out while also providing input and information on other comparable options for me to try. I bought the guitar I came in for, confident that it was the one for me, and very happy with the experience.I'll be going here again, and recommend that you go too!

Spazz: I ordered my CVP last May when everything seemed to be in short supply. Amadeus kept in touch letting me know the status and being Canadian, apologetic for delays. When the floods happened in BC and my old keyboard had issues, I was given a loaner so that I could continue practising! I have no “regerts” and am very pleased that I chose Amadeus Music! Thank you!

Andrea Pinna: Marvelous....

Nikki H: Pleasant staff, great selection of hybrid pianos. I enjoyed the huge selection of music books.

Bryce O'Connor: and his staff were very pleasant and helpful in our quest to find our son a new piano to continue his lessons. Lessons which are offered by Amadeus Music...one stop shopping. My spouse and I totally recommend this store for all your piano needs and piano lessons. Great job everyone. 👏

Bernard Sprenger: Great selection of books, acoustic pianos, guitars… the list goes on!

Perry (Perry): Great experience. Bright and friendly and great people.

Trish McIsaac: Thank you Amadeus Music for helping us with our Yamaha piano purchase. There are lots of electronic pianos out there and lots of keyboards online but they left us with more questions than anything. Should we go piano or keyboard? How will we know what condition a second hand piano would be in? What if a key stops working? How can we, a couple of seniors, transport it? So we watched lots of YouTube videos on electronic pianos but we were left more confused than ever. Then we discovered Amadeus Music, a new piano store recently opened in Edmonton. All it took was one visit to your new lovely store today and all our questions were answered. You and you helpful staff gave us all the information we needed to make the right decision for us.We walked out very happy with our new Yamaha Piano! Reasonably priced with a 5 year warranty! That relieves a lot of our worries. Prompt same day delivery and first class service, we couldn’t be happier! Now all we need to do is practice, practice, practice.Thank you Amadeus! Good luck with your new store!Trish

The Bandstand Ltd.: what do users think?

aguy hehe: Really good place

Beni: Fantastic spot! Great service, knowledgeable staff, and lots of music to choose from! Highly recommend.

Gail Matheson: This is a gem, both for service and quality. We buy all our band instruments here. My kid loved the flute and piccolo. Next is a saxophone.

David Cuyler: landscape. For wind musicians, it is repairs, instruments and sheet music, as well as accessories and maintenance supplies. It is dealing with knowledgeable and friendly people, many of which you have played in ensembles with. It is that specialized knowledge and good practices that sets them apart.

Ray Théberge: Good inventory of musical charts back by a super musical instrument repair department.

Tom: Great place for all your musical needs, I rented equipment for my daughter's music class and the process was easy. They even dropped it off at our house on their way home! You can't beat customer service like that!

Susan Smith: Fantastic best music store in the city

Ling Liu: I started to love this place. I rent a violin for my jr high daughter. The string broke on Saturday night. I took it in Monday morning before the store opened. The lady opened the door for me and got it fixed right away. She also processed a refund for returning the unopened box of a unused music stand. At the end I got a free expedite fixed, some $$ back and be able to be back in time for my work meeting. My daughter will be able to continue her band lesson. Everything worked out perfectly! I felt I was treated well with courtesy. I am so happy and grateful to Bandstand!

Olivia Menard: I love this place. My trombone valve broke earlier this year and Susan came and picked it up from where I was. It was fixed impeccably. I just got an order delivered two days after I placed it on Saturday, and when I called to ask about some items, Ormand was very helpful.

Cassandra Tomas: Fun fact: if you rent an instrument, the rental fee can be put towards the purchase of a new instrument from the store. Very appealing to know you're not 'throwing money away' on a rental when you may eventually choose to buy, but are not sure yet. They were my go-to store when I was in jr.high and high school band almost 20 years ago, and from what I can see, that's not about to change!

Alicia Calvert: Super friendly and very helpful with figuring out instrument rentals for the kids.

Stang Guitars: what do users think?

Vick Lahar: Oh man. Love the quality of guitars. Best place in Edmonton to buy.

Glen McDonall: Everytime I've been there I've had nothing but pro service.

Ron Olson: Nice store. Microphones non existent. Suggestions even more so.

Dave Lawrence: Nicely set up shop. Definitely on the middle-high end for pricing, but some nice guitars in stock. Not for beginners, more of a place for intermediate and up musicians looking to get a serious instrument.

Raymond Donnelly: I can’t recommend Stang Guitars enough. This is the ONLY PLACE in town I’ve never had any issues with guitar repairs or maintenance . Doc + crew have gone above and beyond to fix and customize my problem-ridden guitar into a fantastic instrument that I love playing, and I’m so grateful.Easy 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Allan Keller: Very talented personnel. Friendly, helpful and reasonably priced.

monika penner: Fantastic service and advice.

Mary K: Staff at this is incredibly helpful and kind. I was shocked at how many guitars they have. We went there to get my oldest kid guitar picks and foot pedals ect and they left happy. If you’re looking for top quality guitars and whatever you need to go with them then head over to Stang Guitars.

R.A. Houston (CdnBushNerd): about what I wanted and it's like he read my mind. EVERYTHING was done as I asked, plus they made me aware of a couple issues to watch for. I was absolutely stunned by the difference the work made. it took me about 7 notes on the new setup to tell the difference between my usual tech and the work done by Stang Guitars, Needless to say, my usual tech place is no longer putting their mitts on my gear. If y'all need work done on your gear, all I can say is this place is affordable, thorough, and absolutely worth the trip. I don't know what else to say except that the service has won them a repeat customer and I actually can't wait to play again!

Cory Fraser: The team here is always courteous and professional. The #1 guitar store in Edmonton.

James Wasmeier: Staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly

Eric Meier: Amazing store. Great taste in what they stock, and their customer service can't be beat. The owner is extremely accommodating, and along with all staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Best guitar shop in Edmonton hands down.Edit: 6 years later and I love them even more. Thanks for everything guys!

luke wells: Best place in town for geetbassses

Travis michael: Always so cool to visit! Staff know allot and are incredibly helpful
