Joel Wenaus: Done only a few classes. Loving it so far.

The instruction is expert, every instructor is approachable, and everything from the philosophy to the cleaning practices showcase how to build character and community.

EH4Y: Great place to train!

Patrick Frey: I can't recommend this school enough.

Dowie Centeno: The instructors are very professional. My daughter likes the way they teach.

C Mundt: Have had children in the various programs over a number of years here. They are consistently positive and great at meeting the kids at an age and skill appropriate level!

XIN SUN: My kid likes the classes and the coaches. The coaches are very nice, patient and responsible. Each class is very interesting. Kids can learn something important for bullyproof during the program.

MrMarioG: Amazing place to get into Jiu-jitsu! Very welcoming place and tons of friendly helpful students / staff! Highly recommended!

Дарья Тимохова: Thank you so much for this opportunity to train with the best coaches. We are thrilled to be on your team. The trainers are highly qualified with a unique approach to children. My son loves going to class.

Katia Vissers: Amazing place to build self-confidence.Super friendly and respectful environment.

S.H.: 10/10! I started at Edmonton Gracie Jiu Jitsu a little under 2 years ago, and it has been amazing! As a young woman, I was a little nervous about joining a co-ed martial arts class, but as soon as I started, I felt right at ease. They create a super positive atmosphere that is welcoming, uplifting, and professional! I’ve learned a ton from these guys, and I would absolutely recommend both the Women Empowered and the Combatives program! Keep up the great work guys!!

Nadya Molina: My kids and I have been part of the Edmonton Gracie Jiu-Jitsu family for over a year now, and I say family because that is what you feel once you step foot in their gym. Jeff, George and all of the instructors have created such a welcoming and inspiring environment. The values, life lessons and Jiu-Jitsu skills taught in the Bullyproof Program have had a tremendous impact in helping my kids navigate their entrance into schooling years.I have gained so much knowledge and confidence in the Women Empowered program - great instructor and amazing group of ladies!Highly recommend Edmonton Gracie Jiu-Jitsu!!

Joce LeB: Edmonton Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is my favorite place to be in Edmonton, George and Jeff are the best and the community is amazing. I couldn't recommend this place enough, I love it!

M CONRAD-KINDIAK: My search for a safe, CLEAN and inspiring learning environment ended quickly when I found EGJJ. Mere words cannot express my gratitude for the Greekas family and each one of the instructors here; I travel 2 hours round trip, 3-5 days a week to attend this academy, that’s how amazing they are. Their passion and dedication is contagious, leaving you wanting to learn more. The other students are wonderful. I enjoy the structured curriculum that only Gracie Jiu-Jitsu offers, the online Gracie University learning experience, and the warm hearted community that lifts you up to your highest potential. I would encourage anyone to come see for themselves!

Ryan Barber: Both of my children have been attending Edmonton Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for a number of years, progressing through various classes as their abilities and confidence grew. Both have used what they have learned to avoid and effectively deal with conflict as it arose. The organization is a family environment, parents feel like they are a part of the development of their child. All instructors are courteous and approachable, as well as professional. My youngest has now shown an interest in competition. I do not hesitate to recommend Edmonton Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to anyone.

Robinson Peroza: This is the best decision we have made for our son's martial arts life. The team and teachers are awesome, we love the way values are taught and the fact that parents are allowed during practice so we can see how the child's skills are improving.100% Recommended!

Carlin Getz: What an incredible program. I cannot say enough good things about Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. By the second visit, instructors knew both my name and my daughters name. All children are encouraged and challenged equally. I absolutely LOVE the character building conversations that instructors lead at the beginning of class, and how the kids listen and participate so intently. The expectation to follow the rules are high, and the kids do exactly what they are told. My only regret is that I wish we had started all three of our children in GJJ Bullyproof program when they were much younger.

Edmonton Mixed Martial Arts: what do users think?

Zachary Shier: One of the best places to learn and practice martial arts. It offers a realistic blend of the traditional styles. I started in 2015 and still doing it to this day. Master Woodford is super helpful along with other senior students. If I could say what are the 5 best things to say about the school. It would be the instructions are top notch, the people are friendly, the classes are fun and beneficial, training at your own pace, and the style itself is flexible and functional.

Jesus Santorum: Great MMA gym. Takes aspects of traditional martial arts and mixes them together. The goal is always self defense and what techniques are practical. Great place. They have moved locations to the whyte ave area, gym is named "freestyle Martial Arts".

Katie Campbell: I love Edmonton Mixed Martial Arts! I was scared to join martial arts at first thinking that I wouldn't know what I was doing and would look like a complete idiot. Everyday I am learning and doing more and more things that I never thought I could do. The instructors are absolutely incredible and challenge and inspire me everyday. They truly take the time to make sure you are happy and confident with what you are learning and wont hesitate to talk to you or help you if needed. Even the students are quick to lend a hand during class. I love everyone at this club they make you feel like you are part of a family from day one. If I could recommend any place to train there would be no questions asked, Edmonton Mixed Martial Arts is the place to be. If you are looking for a place to learn self defense and get in shape, you would be missing out on an amazing experience if you chose any place other than here!

Rebecca Woodford: We have the best students! The people that train are so nice and inspire me everyday! Such a wonderful enviroment!I am sad to see a reviewer got the wrong info about our program. We do have a belt systme, however, we do not charge for any testing at all!Keep up the great work everyone!

Arashi-Do Edmonton East: what do users think?

Trysh Sturkenboom: I initially brought my son here just to try to get him involved in something, but Jiu-jitsu ended up being his passion. Shannon and Neil are amazing at what they do, and they really care about the people who attend. I feel like they gave my son something invaluable that he will carry with him the rest of his life. I'm so grateful to them, and I know that any family who is lucky enough to be involved with this place will not regret it.

Irshaad Khan: .But just as important as the physical improvements in my life, so have been the mental improvements. The welcoming friendly environment at the gym established by the strong family presence of Professor Neil and his family are the best part of training here. There are many days where I've been very down, but once I got to the gym I would quickly forget about all of my problems. On the jiu-jitsu side, I have to say the instruction and curriculum is top tier. I've made incredible gains in my skill development in just a few short years. I don't compete, but I know professor and his family are at almost every tournament to support all of their students.I haven't been able to attend as many muy thai classes as I'd like to, but the classes I've attended have always been fun, challenging, and a great work out.If you're thinking about training, don't hesitate to come for their free trial. It's been one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself.

Jits N Eats: A wonderful club! The space has two mats with lots of natural light. There's a huge emphasis on family here and a place for everyone at this club. They're great members of the community. Definitely check them out!

Gregory: Best atmosphere for training, and family

Gabriel Hamilton: I love this place

Ernest Lesnik: Awesome family ran dojo. Nicest people to deal with. Kids and adult programs. And professor Neil's belt is so black that light cannot pass thru it. Check em out.

Ann Rivera: My son goes to classes here, and is always happy to attend, he learns new techniques, I do recommend it.

Troy Sorensen: Awesome instructors, super welcoming! Don't hesitate to try a class.

Legacy Films: Great place to learn and a great environment! Professor Neil is always willing to help teach moves

Joyce: Great teachers, been coming here for a few years now. An amazing family friendly environment, with a great adult women's class. 10/10.

Markus McKiernan: Great place, great people, great training. If you're looking for a challenge, I recommend checking it out.

Jay McLachlan: I’ve trained with Arashido for ten years and I switched from the north side to this location a year ago and must say, it is a fantastic family owned and operated martial arts gym to be a part of, welcoming and great for beginners. Professor Neil and his entire family are all passionate, experienced martial artists driven to train and teach across multiple disciplines.
