Chin Yin Buddhist Society: what do users think?

Zhigu Feng: Jingyin Leizang Temple, a Buddhist hall, is a place to promote Buddhism. In the middle of the lobby, there are three large Buddha statues and some small Buddha statues that cannot be named. The place is clean, the staff is kind, and the whole person relaxes when entering the Buddhist hall

Kimykawa T: Very nice and quiet clean big place .good delicious vegetarian food.

su chong: I'm very bless to have this Temple. Everyone is always helpful and kind.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Connie Perlitz: Happy New Year!

Mikida Bong: I enjoy the cultivation every Sunday. I also prefer our refuge names are not used as examples in the rules during cultivation. I prefer to stay low.Overall, I visit this temple because I enjoy the 1 hour teaching at 10am. I learn a lot in this True Buddha school .

Sanatan Dharma: Great way for Buddhists to get to the heart of their Dharma.

Purified F: With the breathtaking appearance architecture of the new Mui Kwok Temple, it becomes the prominent landmark on the 153rd Avenue in the North Edmonton area. The beautiful gardens around the temple reflect the nature lovers of the Buddhists. The inside of the temple is very spacious, very clean and tidy. Mui Kwok Temple proves the functioning of the Buddha and the remarkable efforts of the spreading of the Dharma by the sangha and the audiences. Amituofo!

Nate Nutter: Making sure that things are done correct as per knowledge given not taken.

Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu: Great place, friendly monks and nuns. Some language barrier, but open to all.

Dừa Sọ: Goodbye Master and everyone. The dream of meeting Mr. Phap Hoa came true, he gave me the virtue of Compassion, so I overcame many angers and delusions in life. Teacher, I intentionally threw a burning coal to someone I hate, I don't know if that person burns but the first person to get burned is me. Likewise the fire of anger destroys oneself first.

Hai Duong: Good

Mark Milton: Very tranquil and peaceful. They sale vegetarian food in the basement which help support the Monks and the temple. The volunteers are wonderful and welcoming to all.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Starseed Magicians: Friday evenings 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Good guided meditation and walking meditation.

John Smith: My mother visited this place and said it was a good experience, she's usually very critical of everything. She seemed more balanced in speech and reactions to things after going there. I always would walk past the temple but never actually went there having no official business of any sort. I give it 5 stars.

Joy Conway.: A beautiful, busy, and peaceful place. An interesting experience to visit and spend a little time. The people were friendly and polite. The statues, art and space were beautiful and clean

Lotus Heart: Great place to learn meditation

Rejuve Your Body: I’ve been coming for the past 6 weeks and so impressed with how amazing the Monk is there. He’s very much loved. The place is so inviting and clean and I’m addicted to the market on Sundays. The kimchi is my favourite get it every Sunday. Wish I lived in Edmonton I’d be there every Sunday.

Lotus Heart: Thursday at 7pm the Dharma sharing starts. A very nice place to practice . The Teacher Geshe La is very compassionate and has a great selection of topics and talks with retreats as well

A.J. Wrenn: Love the meditation sessions on Saturdays! Very welcoming and worth going if you've never tried before.

Angel Cleary: Wonderful temple! All beliefs welcome.

Diane Fereig: Geshe Pema is a wonderful person and it's a beautiful place to learn about Vajrayana Buddhism in action. Warm and friendly people from diverse cultures makes it a great community experience.

S: Warming, tranquil and loving place. After one year of attempting meditation, I never went anywhere or stopped thinking during meditation. However, last week, while we attended the meditation at the temple, towards the end, we felt think strong amazing vibration/energy that was immensely blissful. My thoughts dissolved for the first time in my life! And made good friends here too!But we wish that the teaching style could be more vibrant, maybe let all of us read the txt and raise questions paragraph by paragraph and take short breaks in between.

jothi nathan: Happy, Respectful, Knowledgeable and Good Practices can be experienced in this center. All are welcomed with open hearts and the free meditation and Saturday lessons are excellent for anyone looking to get inner peace and understanding of what "compassion" is all about.

Buddha Head: Great Place, Great Environment, very helpful; Whats evens more wonderful is the meditation classes they now offer on Monday evenings 6:30-7:30 pm. The reason i say this is because i believe meditation to have played a big role in my life & in helping me open up my mind more to Buddhism. When i first studying Buddhism it was hard for me to grasp on to its ideas, because i had been raised as a catholic and already had a different mindset on how our existence works. This made it very hard for me because my mind would automatically disagree with Buddhist teachings without even giving them a chance. The one concept of Buddhism that my mind seemed to agree with though was meditation, because i realized that every time i would take some time out of my day to meditate their was this feeling of peace, quite & stillness in my mind. this feeling would penetrate to the core of my being. My normally upset & chattering mind would be peaceful for those few minutes I'd spend meditating. After experiencing this peace my mind/soul wanted more of this feeling & as a result i began to meditate more; becoming more open to Buddhas teachings. The few minutes have now turned to hours sometimes & has relaxed my mind to a state of peace that i never thought was possible, it has also helped me deal with many negative emotions that i carried around with me. Even eliminated some completely. My destructive mindset & emotions have slowly been healing from the teachings of Buddha, the teachings have made me more in tuned with my inner being & the world around me; allowing me to feel true happiness. None of this would have been possible if i hadn't given the simple yet powerful tool known as meditation a chance. Please if you have some time i suggest you attend the meditation classes that are now being held here & maybe some of the other classes as well; Give the teachings of Buddha a chance they really are a powerful antidote for many of the problems that arise in peoples lives & i truly believe they can bring peace to your life.

Ben Becic: Very warm and welcoming, Instructor gives a basic introduction at the beginning if your not familiar with the practice. Insightful and light-hearted with dashes of humor.

Melvin Racelis: Everybody is warm and welcoming. Great place to learn about Tibetan Buddhism, specifically the Gelug tradition and it is also a great place for retreats.

Michael Spangler: I have benefitted greatly from the teachings and support I received from Kushok. I felt welcomed by the group there and got alot out of the experience. It is good to be part of a group involved in self awareness and spiritual growth. Kushok is a great teacher.

Crystal Sea: This is an amazing gem, in the heart of Edmonton. They have a wonderful teacher, a master, monk from India, Tibet and beyond, who lives here in the city and teaches here at the centre. They are an inclusive community of practicing Buddhist's who welcome all people of all ages, races, faiths and beliefs. They have wonderful programs all throughout the week and celebrate the major Tibetan holidays and ritual days. The temple is beautifully decorated inside and outside. You can tell the members here really take pride in their temple. Their website is easy to navigate and they have a great online presence with facebook and Instagram. The dedication to the dharma is admirable. They are always looking to expand their members base and welcome everyone to come learn meditation, mindfulness, compassion, dharma and Buddhist philosophy.
