Mica Szpigiel: Perfect downtown location, walking distance from all the best downtown has to offer. They accommodated my request to have 4 rooms all beside each other for my wedding guests and bridal party. They also allowed us to get a late check out at 1pm so me and my bridal party could finish getting ready. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were amazing as well! Will be back and would recommend!

Ty Knibbs: Amran at the front desk is a gem. She was helpful at every turn and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Extremely professional, and kind ❤️Rooms: Rooms are clean and sanitary. We had a very small stain by the foot of our comforter, but that is the only thing we found. Modern facilities 👍Safety: Outside during the day is very safe and a great area to walk around and see the downtown sights. However, after about 1am it’s a little sketch.

Olufikayo S: This was a place my family and I had stayed 5years ago when we came to Edmonton and we had no hesitation booking the hotel again, this time around. The service from the check-in desk, to the ladies at the breakfast table and everyone working to ensure we had a great time was impressive. We had our room upgraded as the room we had booked was not available at the time of check-in and we were quite pleased with the new room. I definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Eliana Salinas: The overall experience was fantastic! The services provided were top-notch, and we were delighted by the delicious continental breakfast. The staff, particularly the housekeeping and restaurant teams, treated us with exceptional kindness, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. The hotel's location was perfect, and the cleanliness throughout the entire property was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
TY Liu: The service was great! The staffs were friendly. We got cookies when we were checking in. They were warm and delicious! We originally booked a junior suite - king bed but got sent to a 2 queen beds room. Front desk fixed the issue and upgraded us to a bigger room. The room was very nice but just the AC was very loud so I couldn’t sleep. The noise was on & off all night regularly. Also I could hear people from other rooms walking around and talking outside at midnight til 3am. I told the front desk while checking out, she offered me a Tim Horton’s gift card, but unfortunately staff from Tim Horton’s told us the card was not activated, we couldn’t use that. Location’s good, very close to places we wanna go.
Alyssa P: Overall, we had a lovely stay. We were greeted with an option of warm cookies, which were delicious. A well sound proofed, clean, and comfortable room. It was not very large, but it met our needs overall for this brief trip. All interactions with staff were positive, which I think helped a lot in elevating our stay above other places where employees obviously care less. Linens are clean and plentiful as needed upon request. Luxury toiletries in washroom in eco-friendly containers. We look forward to staying here again someday.Rooms: Rooms kept very neat and as clean as can be expected. Turn down services was upon request and non invasive. Brings towels whenever you need them. Crabtree Evelyne products attached to wall, so much better for the environment which I loved. The shower head needs some improvement, but that's me being picky. AC did not work adequately, but we only advised them upon check out because we only were there two nights. Their compensation was fair as it was given to me in a gift card. I thought that was lovely since our stay was not longer-term.Nearby activities: West Edmonton mall is very close by with the Waterpark etc.Safety: A room key is required to access floors via the elevator.Food & drinks: We utilized the in-house buffet breakfast. We enjoyed everything, except I really hated the nasty scrambled eggs, and it appeared no one else was eating them either . When there was no fruit left, We asked, and they hand delivered to our table a small dish. Exceptional services. Very satisfied overall for our family.Noteworthy details: 24-hour pool access except for when closed for regular maintenance, it was Monday night.

Janice Chau: . The property is kind of dated and could use some upgrading, but that was a reasonable tradeoff for a lower rate. It can also get noisy at times - not from outside but the interior hallway.The location is excellent - steps from an LRT station and direct buses to WEM, and close to lots of great restaurants. Check-in was quick and painless.

Elizabeth T.: The front desk workers and housekeepers are awesome. Very friendly, very accommodating. Never had any issues checking in.The area is downtown, so we were able to walk pretty much wherever we wanted to go. There is the basic amount of crime or danger with being downtown in the area, but the Days Inn felt really safe.The room itself was pretty nice. Exceptionally clean. My only qualms are that the carpet can sometimes be ever so slightly damp, HOWEVER, not musty damp. It smells clean and fresh, I think they just clean it often. And usually when my party has more than 2 people, there won't be enough towels in the room for us all so I just ask for me and it works out perfectly. Absolutely worth the money.

Dolores Bennett: Celebrated our 50th Anniversary for Sunday Brunch at the Laronde with family. The Variety of Foods was outstanding. The staff are the cream of the crop, you receive only the best service in every way possible. This has always been the very best each and every time we have had the pleasure of enjoying a meal in the Laronde. Only at the Laronde will you meet wonderful, carring interesting, efficient, attentive experienced staff who know how to deliver such a top notch experience that will keep you coming back time after time !!!!!Such a memorable experience from the time you step off the elevator on the 24th floor and see our beautiful city of Edmonton and then continue to be pampered and entertained every minute you are there!!Food & drinks: You can expect to receive only the very best!!!!!

Magda Hirian: Château Lacombe is just a very old and not very clean hotel. The location is not too bad but the price and the staff wasn't friendly. We booked by Internet and we asked for a king size bed as my husband had spinal cord surgery and when we arrived, they just let us know at the front desk that they have only queen size bed and we have an extra charge of $25.00 for the parking. It was late, around 1 am, we were tired and we decided to stay but the bed and the mattress were very uncomfortable. We bought some water on our way, we brought it up in the room to put it in the fridge and surprise, no fridge in our room, so we were drinking warm water and almost slept on the floor. We stayed there just one night and we were looking for another accommodation. We checked in very late and the next morning before 9 am the cleaning lady was knocking at our door to ask what time we'll leave. The check out was at noon so we didn't appreciate that we were waking up earlier than we thought. Anyways, we'll never go back there even if they are pet friendly... the only nice "thing" that happened to us at the Chateau was Don at the entrance who helped us out to the car and he was extremely kind and nice. He had a very cute French talking and we hope to meet him again in other circumstances. We wish him health and all the best. He was the only one at that hotel who knew what he was doing.

Rick May: Nice hotel, stayed in 2022 and again 2023. During the 2022 trip, the hotel was remodeling the parking but it was finished in 2023. Good downtown location.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants within walking distance but be aware, weekends choices are pretty slim.

The other rooms definitely needs some updating, but we didn't mind it at all. The staff was very accommodating. Ihor Oliinyk: During my temporary stay here I have only good emotions. a nice and friendly team that will always help with any questions, good rooms with comfortable beds. a big plus is that there is a pool where you can relax when you feel tortured. convenient location near the city center allows you to solve all matters in a few minutes of walking.
Sydell Jensen: If you want to be in the thick of things, then stay here. An easy walk in downtown Edmonton to Churchill Square or City Hall. The staff was polite, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast 🥞 selection good. We enjoyed the use of the pool, hot tub and sauna on Sunday morning. It is not a five star accommodation and they didn't claim to be but my service was five star.

I observed pride taken in cleanliness, hospitality and care.While we were here, we experienced something that could have happened anywhere in the world. This was not something the Comfort Inn could have prevented. Its' one of those things that happens in our modern work of technology.The staff worked fast to get my child and I help. They did not waste time and called for emergency assistance. Greg Johnston: Had a great staycation in downtown Edmonton. This hotel is very new, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! Every staff person we interacted with was pleasant and friendly.The location is steps from Rogers Place and the Grand Villa Casino with lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. The only issue is downtown Edmonton. The sidewalks and streets are in disrepair - cracked, uneven, generally poor condition. Also, lots of vagrants, vagabonds, and sketchy-looking folks - definitely areas I wouldn’t want to walk through after dark. Uber is our friend!So - great hotel, especially if attending an event at Rogers, but the City of Edmonton could pay some attention to the area.

They accommodated our early arrival and late check out, they were helpful, nice and always available, and very kind and respectful.The most important part was that they prepared the room for our kids, set up a caravan tent and log fire inside the room as well as a stuffed animal for each kids. Lots of chocolates and candies and a very warm welcome notes. My kids were so overwhelmed and happy to see all these cares and kindness.My kids also received special coloured entry card for their stays.Buffet was great for breakfast and the menu almost cover any tastes. The afternoon snack was also great.The most important part was the staff that always ready to help.Rooms were nicely built and TVs working with any streams.Bed frames and furniture all are made from high end materials. However, the mattress were not very comfortable and I believe they should be replace with a new one.We enjoyed our short stay this long weekend and highly recommend this place.
Nathan Rosie: This hotel has gotta be the best hotel I’ve ever been to, it is located in a great part of Edmonton with easy access to a movie theatre, Rogers Place, the Fan Park, and lots of restaurants. The restaurants inside the hotel are amazing, and the service was incredible. The staff made sure your visit was perfect, I’ll definitely be back next time I have to stay in Edmonton.

Steve McNeil: My wife and I were in Edmonton for my nieces wedding and we booked a room at The Matrix as it was part of their wedding package. We weren’t disappointed the hotel was very clean on the inside the staff were extremely attentive to anything and everything that we asked about from front desk people to the maintenance staff to everyone working in the restaurant. The room was very clean , the hallways were in my words pristine, the lobby at 7:30 am was ready for everyone to start moving around and had a coffee station ready for the early morning people and yes the smokers going outside for their morning smoke. The breakfast buffet was top notch many coffee choices, tea, juices , warm cinnamon buns, sausage, bacon, fresh baby roast potatoes and scrambled eggs. I didn’t count how many pastries but would wager a guess at 6 or 7 , toast . The restaurant staff were also top notch taking care of everything you need or want .I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone that asked about it two 👍 👍 up keep up the great work. Also shout out to George from the Maitenence staff you do a fine job my friend keep up the great work 👍.
Bobby Moore: We've been doing staycations here every year for the past 5 years.The front reception is always comforting, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the brunch three next morning is fantastic.The LRT is only a block away and it's super close to many local breweries and little places to eat/ drink.Access to the trolley that takes you to Whyte Ave is only a few blocks away and a nice walk.

S. Ferdowski: My family and I spent three days at this hotel last week. We had a fantastic time accompanied with daily great breakfast and extremely polite staff. The front desk staff were very friendly and approachable. The cleaning staff were so helpful and polite. We highly recommend this hotel for any family headed to Edmonton.Rooms: Our room was very clean .Safety: My family and I felt very safe there.Walkability: The location was in walking distance to fast food restaurants.Food & drinks: The accommodation staff assisted us without any hesitations.Noteworthy details: The staff were extremely helpful.

Silkk: Excellent location u herdme. Only a few mins drive to WEM. Amazing fast food restaurants nearby and liquor stores, dollar store etc. kingsway liquor store was very cheap. i hated the one way streets in this area made it kind of confusing to drive around. Breakfast ended at 930am however one day the waffles ran out at 9:10 am and was replaced with there hard as a rock pancakes. The rest of the breakfast was good especially the bacon and sausage it was tasty. Room was spacious however we had the 2 queen beds and unfortunately these rooms come with a bathtub and not a standup shower. I like standup showers much better. The washroom sink faucet was too close to the counter which causes the counter to get kind of flooded - bad design. Pool and hot tub were grrreeat like Tony the Tiger would say.

Shabz: Plenty of parking. inspirational design and comfy decor
Juicy Joy Wright (Pineapple): The front desk representatives were nice and helpful. The cleaning staff don't seem to understand my instructions. I felt like I had to ask for the obvious. One cleaning lady in particular left my room dirtier than it was before. My bathroom room floor was gross and grimey. She also left garbage on my bathroom counter and didn't replenish my coffee or sugar or creamer. The hotel needs to invest in a better vacuum. She also messed with my air conditioner. It was working perfectly fine until after she was in my room. It still works but is warmer then I like it. The food is way over priced, but the servers were great. I like consistency when it comes to restaurants. The pub drinks are very costly too. My only dissatisfaction was with cleaning staff.

Tobi Amodu: The was venue for a friend’s wedding in Edmunton. The rooms welcomed a host of us while the topmost event room took care of the wedding reception and engagement. The staff are respectful and friendly. Shout out to TK at the front-desk, cool dude 👍. Very friendly budget. Room service was promptly. Clean sheets. Not so modern but well maintained. Our groups flight was delayed so we got to keep our luggage after checkout. Great central location in town - Only wish it was a bit closer to the airport. The popular west mall is a few minutes away. Parking space just beside it.
Le Vagabon: My stay here waz magnificent, Nav and TK made sure my stay waz comfortable and satisfactory. I appreciated how they are well mannered, informed and accommodating.The hot tub pool and fitnezz centre being open at 5am iz very convenient 👌🏿.when I'm back in Edmonton I'll be sure to be staying here!!!Thank You
Abtin Vakilinia: Great hotel in a great location based on the cost you pay. Hot breakfast and kindness of the staff were great.... It seems the hotel runs with the minimal staff though. It was clear to me that the staff are doing their best but it would not hurt if front desk and breakfast area have more staff employed and work there which helps guests in quicker responses.

I have to say that service is absolutely beyond expectation and the staff pays special attention to my needs. Shout out to Paul who's always very attentive to details and always ready to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable ! The kitchenette which includes a fridge, microwave and dishwasher are really practical and I'm able to buy and make my own healthy food. They recently updated the Gym with a Peloton Bike ! Gym is always clean.Pool looks fun although I never swam yet. There's always families and kids in it.Would definitely recommend this hotel !

Wei Sun: This is an old built hotel and the condition is not as good as others, but for us who do not care about room quality and spend most of our time in the Mall, this hotel absolutely saved much money for us to spend on other things like meals. We got 2 free tickets for Waterpark or Galaxyland each day we stayed, and 50% for other attractions.The location is great, we only have to cross a road to the mall. Our room is generally clean. Staff at front desk is very nice and helpful.It’s a great value to stay here for a vacation.

Nick Mayers: Great hotel. Clean tidy and very friendly staff. Location is in a busy part of town with some fabulous restaurants and coffee shops on your doorstep. Late night traffic noise may be a problem for some. Plenty of bus routes from Hotel to explore Edmonton. Very handy if you're visiting the University of Alberta. Easy to walk down town across the river. Check out the Strathcona market on a Saturday which is just around the corner from the Hotel. Amazing food and produce. Highly recommend Hotel 🇨🇦👍🏻

Betheiah Storheim (Beth): I didn't stay here, I was just there for a party for Folk Fest volunteers and performers. It was a good time. Alas, I was too zonked to stay very long.The hotel itself is always nice.
Hsin-Yu Chen: We love our stay here. Stayed here for total 4 days 3 nights. Everything was amazing and fabulous starts from the main entrance. There was welcome drink at the lobby. The doorman was very helpful and kind. Helped us with all our luggage and stuff to our room. The fragrance in the hotel was amazing.It was a smooth check-in experience and Brad was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional!!We traveled with a 11 months baby and a dog and requested to have a crib and to be in a pet friendly room, surprisingly they arranged everything nicely and still be able to provide a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe double queen room which made our stay AWESOME and more comfortable!! Not to mention our crawling baby definitely love the spacious room but also our giant puppy could sleep comfortably! The bed and pillow is definitely the best. We all sleep in deep.The downside of the room is that there’s always loud music in the midnight even though I’m from the 8th floor. Surprisingly there’s no microwave in the deluxe room. Received it after requesting it a few times.We had one breakfast at the restaurant on Saturday morning. The food was great but I could see the restaurant was understaffed. It would be good to assign at least two servers I guess.Theres a few downside in our entire stay was the housekeeping service. I requested to have a room tidy up with changing towels & trash while walking the dog on Saturday, which was our 3rd day. We left for an hour but it couldn’t be done. Only be able to grab fresh towels when we came back in the late night. And we can hear people talking & slamming their doors all the times from our room.Underground parking was small but we managed to find a space all the time! Very safe and convenient.Location was awesome. Generally We really enjoy the city view and the street view. The stay was one of the best in my life. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful.Would definitely return in the future!
