Atian Moghimi: The staff were really kind and helpful, they offered us early check in at 2pm and late check out at 12pm which helped us a lot.The location was far away from downtown but great place to spend a day or two at the mall doing activities and shopping, we didn't even get bored.Family and I would definitely come back again ☺️

Darryl Toth: My 15yr old son and I just recently finished last weekend, a 5day, 4night stay.We had a blast, from the theme room to the true convenience of the hotel being right there at the West Edmonton Mall.We never left that mall, once for 5days.Everything was right there for our enjoyment. From the 2 mini golf courses, to the worlds largest indoor wave pool. Ice skating, all the major attractions and resturant row located on Bourbon Street were literally 10-12 min walk from the hotel lobby. It’s so worth the $$ to stay right on site.

Maria Fe Poloyapoy Alfar: Great service and food! Wonderful stay..However, may I please request for checking of your camera for our lost large brown luggage? I know it is not your bell boy's fault but we are just hoping it is just kept somewhere safe. Thank you and please email me for update. We checked out today instead of tomorrow.Nearby activities: Food, pool, bowling rides are very accessible

Greg Johnston: Had a great staycation in downtown Edmonton. This hotel is very new, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! Every staff person we interacted with was pleasant and friendly. The location is steps from Rogers Place and the Grand Villa Casino with lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. The only issue is downtown Edmonton. The sidewalks and streets are in disrepair - cracked, uneven, generally poor condition. Also, lots of vagrants, vagabonds, and sketchy-looking folks - definitely areas I wouldn’t want to walk through after dark. Uber is our friend! So - great hotel, especially if attending an event at Rogers, but the City of Edmonton could pay some attention to the area.

Amir Safarkhah: WOW, such a great people. They accommodated our early arrival and late check out, they were helpful, nice and always available, and very kind and respectful. The most important part was that they prepared the room for our kids, set up a caravan tent and log fire inside the room as well as a stuffed animal for each kids. Lots of chocolates and candies and a very warm welcome notes. My kids were so overwhelmed and happy to see all these cares and kindness. My kids also received special coloured entry card for their stays.Buffet was great for breakfast and the menu almost cover any tastes. The afternoon snack was also great. The most important part was the staff that always ready to help.Rooms were nicely built and TVs working with any streams.Bed frames and furniture all are made from high end materials. However, the mattress were not very comfortable and I believe they should be replace with a new one.We enjoyed our short stay this long weekend and highly recommend this place.

Nathan Rosie: This hotel has gotta be the best hotel I’ve ever been to, it is located in a great part of Edmonton with easy access to a movie theatre, Rogers Place, the Fan Park, and lots of restaurants. The restaurants inside the hotel are amazing, and the service was incredible. The staff made sure your visit was perfect, I’ll definitely be back next time I have to stay in Edmonton.

Becky Demille: Rooms: Clean, and tons of space! Great size TV and comfy beds

Jeff Macalino: Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was ok, Breakfast options are ok, hopefully in the future, there could be better breakfast options.Walkability: Walking distance to The mall

Dave Formosa: The rooms are perfect for what we needed. They were clean, and no odours were present, And they were comfy and relaxing. When we arrived the carpets had some wet spots which I assumed had just been spot cleaned

Wei Sun: This is an old built hotel and the condition is not as good as others, but for us who do not care about room quality and spend most of our time in the Mall, this hotel absolutely saved much money for us to spend on other things like meals. We got 2 free tickets for Waterpark or Galaxyland each day we stayed, and 50% for other attractions. The location is great, we only have to cross a road to the mall. Our room is generally clean. Staff at front desk is very nice and helpful. It’s a great value to stay here for a vacation.

Ty Knibbs: Amran at the front desk is a gem. She was helpful at every turn and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Extremely professional, and kind ❤️Rooms: Rooms are clean and sanitary. We had a very small stain by the foot of our comforter, but that is the only thing we found. Modern facilities 👍Safety: Outside during the day is very safe and a great area to walk around and see the downtown sights. However, after about 1am it’s a little sketch.

Andrew Achoba: Great place to stay. I enjoy the Hilton chain and this is no different.Rooms: The rooms are decent size. I had a king room and it was decent size.Food & drinks: The restaurant was good and the food was really great. I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was.

Rod: Excellent job guys and ladies. My stay with was memorable.Rooms: Was exceptionally cleanNearby activities: Walking distance to stadiumWalkability: Everything I want to do is nearby. Park, restaurant etcFood & drinks: In downtown

Russell Wilson: , central location with Pedway access to Ice District, plus I always sleep incredibly well. Unbeatable value, will definitely be back!Rooms: Always clean and very spacious, economy rooms included, and nice comfortable beds. Love having a chaise lounge to relax on next to the window. Fridge, microwave, and large TV with plenty of channels are standard.Safety: Entries

Pia Reyes: We've booked the Royal Suite for our wedding after party. The room was gorgeous! It was spacious enough for our guests and gave us plenty of space to move around. The other rooms definitely needs some updating, but we didn't mind it at all. The staff was very accommodating. Overall we had a blast and staying here definitely contributed to our great wedding weekend.

Aaren McNary: We had amazing experience with our booking and front desk help, her name was Jen and I highly recommend asking for her, she gave us the best service. The next day Hannah checked us out and was polite helpful and amazing as wellRooms: Rooms were clean and bigNearby activities: Downtown is sketchy but it’s nice to be located in the heart of EdmontonSafety: The hotel itself was safe but the area has a lot of drug use and people on drugs walking aroundFood & drinks: Food was great

Crystal Dawson: Awesome staff and super accommodating and helpful and friendly, the only few negative things I had a problem with personally was I seen kids taking rocks from the plants near the pool and throwing them around in the water and catching them while the family member was busy doing something else .Nearby activities: In the hotel there is a gym and a hot-tub and a pool .

Janelle Culbert: and due to the fact that we had to wait she sent up a bottle of wine and cake complimentary.I have never had such amazing service at a hotel, they were ever so apologetic that the original room wasn't available and were just fantastic about getting our new room ready a.s.a.p on short notice.Bed was comfy, lots of pillows to choose from, very clean and the TV is a smart TV! 👌. Wall plugs have USB ports. Lots of storage space for clothing/bags. Ladies they have a real blow dryer in bathroom and the shower pressure was 10/10. There is not one thing I can complain about.Full breakfast in am is included. You won't regret booking here.Noteworthy details: 10/10 customer service.

Brian W: were a little tired but functional.Included breakfast was solid & offered lots of variety.Bonus underground parking

Rudyman S.: We love going here. This hotel offers continental breakfast. Also the rooms are equipped with the latest tv system. We normally bring our nintendo switch and is easy to connect to their entertainment system. Staff is friendly. The only thing is that their swimming pool is shared by the sister hotel so it gets really busy. The towel rack gets empty very quickly. Also the pool is not the cleanest and this is coming from a family that goes to hotel alot. By the time of write up, the jet tub is out of order.

Kevin Navato: I just want to thank the hotel for their effort in helping me and providing cake and wine to surprise my wife's birthday. The staff are helpful and easy to talk to. Her name is DOA, and the other one is LAYLANI, i think that's her name. Thank you so much and keep it up guys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️Rooms: The room is nice and clean. We really like and love our room with a kitchenette in it.❤️🤩Nearby activities: It is just 10 minutes away from the west edmonton mall and lots of restaurants nearby.Food & drinks: The breakfast we have it so delicious. Thanks to the chef who cooked our omelets.

Preston Irwin: Decent, clean and good location 👍Breakfast was great.Compared to other places this is worth the money.

Dolores Bennett: Celebrated our 50th Anniversary for Sunday Brunch at the Laronde with family. The Variety of Foods was outstanding. The staff are the cream of the crop, you receive only the best service in every way possible. This has always been the very best each and every time we have had the pleasure of enjoying a meal in the Laronde. Only at the Laronde will you meet wonderful, carring interesting, efficient, attentive experienced staff who know how to deliver such a top notch experience that will keep you coming back time after time !!!!!Such a memorable experience from the time you step off the elevator on the 24th floor and see our beautiful city of Edmonton and then continue to be pampered and entertained every minute you are there!!Food & drinks: You can expect to receive only the very best!!!!!

Angelo Blais: and enjoyed the complimentary early evening beverages and appetizers. Staff and service there was great. Our hotel room was really nice with an upgraded separate living room and king size bedroom. We did not get the chance to go to the revolving restaurant

Magda Hirian: Château Lacombe is just a very old and not very clean hotel. The location is not too bad but the price and the staff wasn't friendly. We booked by Internet and we asked for a king size bed as my husband had spinal cord surgery and when we arrived, they just let us know at the front desk that they have only queen size bed and we have an extra charge of $25.00 for the parking. It was late, around 1 am, we were tired and we decided to stay but the bed and the mattress were very uncomfortable. We bought some water on our way, we brought it up in the room to put it in the fridge and surprise, no fridge in our room, so we were drinking warm water and almost slept on the floor. We stayed there just one night and we were looking for another accommodation. We checked in very late and the next morning before 9 am the cleaning lady was knocking at our door to ask what time we'll leave. The check out was at noon so we didn't appreciate that we were waking up earlier than we thought. Anyways, we'll never go back there even if they are pet friendly... the only nice "thing" that happened to us at the Chateau was Don at the entrance who helped us out to the car and he was extremely kind and nice. He had a very cute French talking and we hope to meet him again in other circumstances. We wish him health and all the best. He was the only one at that hotel who knew what he was doing.

They also allowed us to get a late check out at 1pm so me and my bridal party could finish getting ready. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were amazing as well! Will be back and would recommend!

Kevin Sequeira: I had the pleasure of staying at the Canterra suites for 6 months while on a work contract in Edmonton. There are not enough wonderful things I can say to describe my stay. I would have to start with the staff who by the end of my stay felt like family. They truly took such amazing care of me and were always available and responsive. The location was terrific, right in the heart of downtown Edmonton with easy access to transit, restaurants and other attractions. It was also right next to a beautiful park and steps to a grocery store. Walking distance to the Rogers stadium. The suites were clean and well equipped for a comfortably stay with a full kitchen and in suite washer and dryer in each unit. Overall, I would highly recommend considering Canterra for your Edmonton stay. Short or long term, you cant go wrong. Thank you again to the wonderful staff at Canterra. You will be missed.

Cesar: I stayed in canterra for about 9 months for work.Maria, Sharon and the rest of the staff are all wonderful. Canterra provides everything you need for a home away from home experience. Everything you could desire is within walking distance of the hotel.

Talia J: Stayed here for two months. It really felt like home. Very clean and good service from staff. Spacious rooms, open concept, great kitchen with everything you need. And close to everything downtown within walking distance

Candice Amber: Fantastic Services and great people!

Colette Weeks: Stayed here with my 3 girlfriends for our annual girls weekend. Room was fantastic for the four of us with two bathrooms and the location cannot be beat!Walkability: Easily walkable to bars, shopping, restaurants and transit.

Jesse Blair: Really well laid out suites. Built for living in and not just staying in which I very much appreciated. Close to amazing restaurants/bars and groceries and in the less rough area of downtown Edmonton.Amenities are something I would love to see beefed up, I had to also travel to and pay for drop in gym passes throughout my stay as the gym here isn’t functional. Room cleaning/services should also be more frequent for longer stays, was here two weeks and got fresh towels/linens once and had to buy my own coffee after day 2.All in though, I’d book here again.

Steven Francis: It was quiet and peaceful

Shabz: Plenty of parking. inspirational design and comfy decor

Juicy Joy Wright (Pineapple): The front desk representatives were nice and helpful. The cleaning staff don't seem to understand my instructions. I felt like I had to ask for the obvious. One cleaning lady in particular left my room dirtier than it was before. My bathroom room floor was gross and grimey. She also left garbage on my bathroom counter and didn't replenish my coffee or sugar or creamer. The hotel needs to invest in a better vacuum. She also messed with my air conditioner. It was working perfectly fine until after she was in my room. It still works but is warmer then I like it. The food is way over priced, but the servers were great. I like consistency when it comes to restaurants. The pub drinks are very costly too. My only dissatisfaction was with cleaning staff.

Staybridge Suites West Edmonton, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Martha Wiebe: UPDATE AND ADDED NOTE: September 3/2023…this hotel continues to amaze me. The breakfast has alllll the things!!! Including a yogurt bar…you gotta stay here.We stayed at Staybridge Suites West Edmonton this past weekend and we have found our new home away from home. The service was from check in to check out was wonderful. The rooms were quiet and when we asked for more towels we were always greeted with nothing but the best and happiest faces. The location is also so great! Everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. Breakfast is included and every room is spacious, and very clean. Each room comes with a full kitchen INCLUDING a dishwasher. Its totally bomb. And the rate was very reasonable in this day and age where it is hard to get a room for under $200/night. We stayed here as a couple as we came for the Luke Combs concert, but i will be staying here with my entire family the next time i visit Edmonton. Guaranteed.

Kait T: . The furniture and decor in our room was a bit dated, but really that is the only point to improve I can think of. There is a pool and fitness centre - I think this would be a fantastic option for families or individuals on a work trip.

Linda Posada: This hotel is nice, but the rooms could use some updates. When you go into the room, it feels like you're back in the 90's.Service is great, and the location is superb, very close to many amenities.Rooms: Very outdated.

Ryan Sgambaro: Overall this was a fantastic hotel. Staff were friendly, kids had a great time in the pool.

Brenda Faithful: I was assistant manager of a well known hotel years ago and wasn't impressed so walked away from that job. This Staybridge Hotel in my opinion is Excellent in many ways.First, Customer service is Excellent!Second, room appears clean, organized and glass shower doors with zero water spots. They have all toiletries except facial wash. So, you'll want to bring face cleanser.Third, the Free complimentary breakfast has everything you can imagine.Sausage, Mexican egg burrito looking tacos and hot sauce, fresh waffles you can make, cereal, yogurt with a big variety of fresh fruits and oats, fresh hard boiled eggs, cubed potatoes, breads and bagels, banana breads and muffins, cream cheese, fresh apples and oranges, coffee and non caffeine as well, hot water for tea, milk, a variety of juices. Now that's a big big complimentary breakfast with Great Service with tables to sit at and enjoy the morning.Pool, workout room and free laundry service ... just bring your soap. One night stay and will most definitely come back.Thank you for your Great Service and this review was worth my time. 😃

Steven Brown: Rooms: Great value, hotel is clean and you can't beat the price to come with a kitchenette.Noteworthy details: Very friendly staff at the front counter.

Melanie MacDonald: Overall a great hotel. Really nice breakfast layout, Social hour in the evening is also a nice touch but the couch in the room was VERY old and worn

Hiroshan Gunawardane: Great hotel, great staff. They have a pool and a gym. Free breakfast and Monday to Wednesday evening social from 5 to 7pm. The social event will give you one beer/wine ticket with unlimited snacks. Spent 11days, their free laundry helped to travel light. The location is very convenient for buses and other transport. Not very far from the West Edmonton Mall, which is the world second largest mall. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and fast food outlets. A great place if you plan for a longer stay.

CaN-InD Music Wagon: Front desk staff are so good, friendly and helpful.Customer service and reservation centre are awesome… Pet friendly room with kitchen makes the suites special. Awesome features of swimming pool, 24*7 gym, wifi and complimentary buffet break bast.Room rates are comparatively law almost has 100 car parks and 4 disabled parking.

Olufikayo S: This was a place my family and I had stayed 5years ago when we came to Edmonton and we had no hesitation booking the hotel again, this time around. The service from the check-in desk, to the ladies at the breakfast table and everyone working to ensure we had a great time was impressive. We had our room upgraded as the room we had booked was not available at the time of check-in and we were quite pleased with the new room. I definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Eliana Salinas: The overall experience was fantastic! The services provided were top-notch, and we were delighted by the delicious continental breakfast. The staff, particularly the housekeeping and restaurant teams, treated us with exceptional kindness, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. The hotel's location was perfect, and the cleanliness throughout the entire property was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

TY Liu: The service was great! The staffs were friendly. We got cookies when we were checking in. They were warm and delicious! We originally booked a junior suite - king bed but got sent to a 2 queen beds room. Front desk fixed the issue and upgraded us to a bigger room. The room was very nice but just the AC was very loud so I couldn’t sleep. The noise was on & off all night regularly. Also I could hear people from other rooms walking around and talking outside at midnight til 3am. I told the front desk while checking out, she offered me a Tim Horton’s gift card, but unfortunately staff from Tim Horton’s told us the card was not activated, we couldn’t use that. Location’s good, very close to places we wanna go.

Alyssa P: Overall, we had a lovely stay. We were greeted with an option of warm cookies, which were delicious. A well sound proofed, clean, and comfortable room. It was not very large, but it met our needs overall for this brief trip. All interactions with staff were positive, which I think helped a lot in elevating our stay above other places where employees obviously care less. Linens are clean and plentiful as needed upon request. Luxury toiletries in washroom in eco-friendly containers. We look forward to staying here again someday.Rooms: Rooms kept very neat and as clean as can be expected. Turn down services was upon request and non invasive. Brings towels whenever you need them. Crabtree Evelyne products attached to wall, so much better for the environment which I loved. The shower head needs some improvement, but that's me being picky. AC did not work adequately, but we only advised them upon check out because we only were there two nights. Their compensation was fair as it was given to me in a gift card. I thought that was lovely since our stay was not longer-term.Nearby activities: West Edmonton mall is very close by with the Waterpark etc.Safety: A room key is required to access floors via the elevator.Food & drinks: We utilized the in-house buffet breakfast. We enjoyed everything, except I really hated the nasty scrambled eggs, and it appeared no one else was eating them either . When there was no fruit left, We asked, and they hand delivered to our table a small dish. Exceptional services. Very satisfied overall for our family.Noteworthy details: 24-hour pool access except for when closed for regular maintenance, it was Monday night.

Betheiah Storheim (Beth): I didn't stay here, I was just there for a party for Folk Fest volunteers and performers. It was a good time. Alas, I was too zonked to stay very long. The hotel itself is always nice.

Hsin-Yu Chen: We love our stay here. Stayed here for total 4 days 3 nights. Everything was amazing and fabulous starts from the main entrance. There was welcome drink at the lobby. The doorman was very helpful and kind. Helped us with all our luggage and stuff to our room. The fragrance in the hotel was amazing. It was a smooth check-in experience and Brad was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional!!We traveled with a 11 months baby and a dog and requested to have a crib and to be in a pet friendly room, surprisingly they arranged everything nicely and still be able to provide a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe double queen room which made our stay AWESOME and more comfortable!! Not to mention our crawling baby definitely love the spacious room but also our giant puppy could sleep comfortably! The bed and pillow is definitely the best. We all sleep in deep. The downside of the room is that there’s always loud music in the midnight even though I’m from the 8th floor. Surprisingly there’s no microwave in the deluxe room. Received it after requesting it a few times. We had one breakfast at the restaurant on Saturday morning. The food was great but I could see the restaurant was understaffed. It would be good to assign at least two servers I guess.Theres a few downside in our entire stay was the housekeeping service. I requested to have a room tidy up with changing towels & trash while walking the dog on Saturday, which was our 3rd day. We left for an hour but it couldn’t be done. Only be able to grab fresh towels when we came back in the late night. And we can hear people talking & slamming their doors all the times from our room.Underground parking was small but we managed to find a space all the time! Very safe and convenient.Location was awesome. Generally We really enjoy the city view and the street view. The stay was one of the best in my life. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful.Would definitely return in the future!

Alyssia McCaw: We stayed at the Westin for volunteering at Folk Fest. We love within Edmonton so this was a lovely treat for a stay-cation. Everything was great, awesome food and fast room service! We will be coming back next year!Nearby activities: Lots of resturants, library and the museum is close!Walkability: In the heart of downtown so it's easy to get around.Food & drinks: Awesome food and drinks!

Leanne Stein: Super spot in the heart of downtown Edmonton with a friendly greeting of welcome to the westin. Enjoy your stay!Nearby activities: Stayed the week of Edmonton folk music festival 🎶💕👏

Anh Le: Old hotel but good location.

Marc Aubin: The AC was down so she was extremely hot in the room. Had to keep the window open all evening and never fell asleep until after 3 pm because of the wooping and partying on white ave.Nearby activities: SameWalkability: AMAZING!!!Food & drinks: Insane amount of Great options.

Nick Mayers: Great hotel. Clean tidy and very friendly staff. Location is in a busy part of town with some fabulous restaurants and coffee shops on your doorstep. Late night traffic noise may be a problem for some. Plenty of bus routes from Hotel to explore Edmonton. Very handy if you're visiting the University of Alberta. Easy to walk down town across the river. Check out the Strathcona market on a Saturday which is just around the corner from the Hotel. Amazing food and produce. Highly recommend Hotel 🇨🇦👍🏻

Diana Athena Mittelsteadt: Walkability: Very central location on Whyte Ave.Food & drinks: Lot's of variety of food and drink in area.Noteworthy details: Appreciates the extra touches for guests. Umbrella, yoga mat, house coat etc..

Jennifer Kurek: These little things used to set your hotel apart from the others;it’s sad to see them go.Though, It is nice to see that you aren’t overcharging for valet parking since there really isn’t much for self parking.

Chateau Nova Yellowhead: what do users think?

A Hesitant Traveler: This hotel is modern and beautiful. The staff are the stars of the show though. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful even when things did not go as planned. Our room had to be changed because of a miscommunication and we ended up with a room that was missing furniture and somewhat under construction but even at that, it was still very beautiful and spacious with a separate bedroom. There are very few amenities nearby though. You will definitely need a vehicle to go get anything you want or need outside of what the hotel offers. The hotel was also remarkably quiet considering there is a rail line nearby and the hotel sits on the side of the highway. We never heard either of them and we enjoy our window open.

K. C: Are you kidding me how is this place so affordable yet I feel like I stayed in luxury!??? The pillows are so good, so much space inside, they even gave me a late checkout of 1pm free of charge. I just wish they had a heavy blanket but other than that this place is so good and very clean!! Had such a good sleep. And the channels are good. I watched free movies on one of the channels. A fridge with dishes also. Not too far from the gas station and Arby’s! Oh I took the last M&Ms in the snack machine on the 2nd floor just FYIAlso very helpful and friendly staff!!

Jack Burton: . Tons of parking out front of this hotel to accommodate cars, pickups, pickups with trailers vans and moving size vans. The rooms are really great. The prices are reasonable and not crazy like some others. Very clean and the restaurant in the lobby tops off your stay with a hot breakfast. I also believe you get breakfast vouches with your stay. My wife and I have stayed here many times together and we have never had anything less than a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Chateau Nova Yellowhead to friends and family. 🙂
