Morgan D: I've done a review before and doing one again!My previous dog Taco used to go here but has sadly passed but my puppy Taquito has been a patient here since I first got him and has been here recently for both allergies snd just recently all day today since he was vomiting for over a day.The price was reasonable, the techs and the vet was great and seeing the smiles on their faces when I bring him in makes me feel so happy. They really cared for him and I'm so glad I brought him to see the people he loves. He loves seeing his techs and his vet and that just goes to show much they care.Little Taquito is a tired boy but I'm sure he's feeling much better.

steve catpatrick: Great vet clinic! They have always been super helpful to us, and did multiple follow-ups after our dog required surgery to ensure he was healing properly. Also gave us multiple options for treatments, drugs, etc to ensure his care matched our wishes.
Dawn phun: Went here last year, and it was great. They made sure my rabbit was comfortable, and provided a room for him to be relaxed. They treated my rabbit so very gently, he was very comfortable and relaxed the whole time at the veterinary office despite generally not liking strangers and seeing many strangers. I’m very grateful.
Hollie DeRose: I have to thank the staff at south side vet for putting up with my panther cat, Pitch. Pitch got sick last week and due to poor timing I was unfortunately out of town and needed to board him somewhere that would also give him his medications. South side took him in that same day to my relief.Pitch was not a happy camper but with some stress relieving meds he came around and the girls actually got to meet my happy boy. They truly did all the work and I’m so grateful. Thank you

Bug: My very old hamster started showing signs of the end a couple weeks ago. It got bad after a couple days and I had to take him in to get put to sleep. I was devastated and nervous from past uncomfortable and traumatic vet visits at other clinics. I called and they assured me that he would be in the best hands and he was. I brought him in and they proceeded to be very patient and thoughtful with us. It made a bad day a little easier. A couple days later I received a card from them with additional sympathies written. I appreciate whole heartedly the care and compassion they put in for my Cheerio. Thank you South Side Animal Hospital.

Ashleydaniellee: Sharon and the staff at Charwick are the best, they are always a phone call away if we have any questions about our dog and they were able to get us in when our dog was not feeling the best. If you’re looking for a vet you can trust Sharon with your fur babies. They treat them like their own. I’m so happy we have such an amazing vet!

Gemma Darlington: A fantastic vet with knowledgeable, animal loving folks in every part of the office. If you want quality care that isn't regulated by Guardian Vets, you can't ask for a better group. They aren't a giant conglomerate with questionable practices so of course you pay a bit more. Our fur babies are worth that to us, absolutely. Sharon is a direct, open communicator who will take all the time needed to ease your concerns and answer your questions. I'm just so happy I found them.

They were so helpful with our senior dog, Sophie, and helped to make her last few months more comfortable. When it was time to say goodbye to Sophie they were incredibly supportive and kind. I cannot recommend Charwick Hill enough and if we decide to get another pet we will definitely be going back!
Krista Z: There's no better vet out there. Truly, your pets are safe with Sharon and her team in a way many other vets do not manage. We have 3 cats and I have never felt comfortable leaving them with other vets but I'd trust Sharon with anything and we're lucky to have her. When my dog came down with cancer, Sharon was kind and laid out all possibilities to us. It was a good thing she did because my dog ended up being the worst case scenario. Roseanne McCartney: Upon arrival here, the staff is always very welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable. Trips to the vet make our dog anxious but he calms down once he sees his favourite, Dr. Mohammed. She tactfully explains the problems our dog is dealing with and provides treatment options we can choose from according to our budget. We trust Edmonton South Animal Hospital the most; our dog receives excellent care, any issues he has are soon solved with the right medication so he can return to his usual self. We initially came here to get our dog neutered and can say that it’s a lovely, affordable vet clinic we’ve continuously had positive experiences with for over three years now. Highly recommend!
Ariane Turkington: Our dog has been helped by both Dr. Basha and Dr. Mohamed and I genuinely cannot tell you which is more incredible. Both are honest and have impeccable beside manner.They were both fantastic when dealing with our very nervous pup was sick and again when doing general checkups, they did not recommend procedures and tests unless absolutely needed. They provided their expert opinions and alternatives where possible.The team is also wonderful, they are very accommodating and carefully explain any medication or even minor things like teeth cleaning options in addition to brushing.Thank you all for taking such great care of our pup!

Kizmet Kizmet: We have used this Vet Clinic for the past three years under the current ownership and for six years prior. We are very impressed with the competency of Dr. Basah. His bed side manner is empathetic and he explains clearly what course of action should be considered by the owners. I would recommend him to any dog owner. I do have one issue with the office. They do provide quotes or estimates for procedures with the caveat that the total due may vary. I understand this requirement. The issue I have is that you pay upfront for the procedure, usually relatively expensive and when you go to pick up your pet they inform you that your dog required $5.00 more for pain killers. After spending more than $500.00 for a spaying this seems you would think the clinic would not even mention it but they do. I don’t think this policy does them any favours and smacks of being niggly. I understand recouping cost and making money but give me a break. It makes me think that perhaps they are running on very thin margins - I hope not as they are a trusted resource and I want them to be around!
Krista Z: These guys are a good group. You can tell these vets love all animals, not just dogs.l, and that's greatly appreciated. They tend to play it safe on treatments, though. I think in an effort to reduce pet owner costs, but I find it a bit frustrating that they don't even share all the options that our new vet did. We have one cat with serious arthritis that monthly shots have completely cured that these guys didn't even offer because it's a bit pricey. BUT they have great hours, excellent front staff, they do really care, and I think they work with a lot of charities which would explain the 'bare essentials' attitude. We take our cats here when the high end vet is unavailable and I know they're in good hands.

Parm Johal: Highly recommend Dr Shilton. Two vets gave us options of total amputation of a paw or euthanize our dog as she is a senior. we were referred by a friend who brings her dogs to Dr Shilton. Dr Shilton is amazing and did not rush to an assessment of what to do. He took his time to assess the file and discuss with a specialist and then followed up with us. He has now referred us to the specialist in hopes that we may be able to save our dog's paw from a total amputation. Dr. Shilton was clear that a board certified specialist surgeon has skills to work around the mass and save a paw. The other two vets never mentioned the option of board certified specialist surgeon. Dr. Shilton was also clear that if he did the amputation he may not be successful in saving the paw hence the referral to specialist. Great staff, very friendly and highly responsive.
Nicole Purger: Each and everyone there who helped trying to save my cat’s life were incredibly kind and compassionate. We felt sadness when we had to say goodbye but I had no regrets because we knew that they all did their best to keep him comfortable and safe for as long as they could.

You know right away when you meet people who truly love what they do and are engaged with their customers. keira_ drawing queen: Best veterinarian clinic I' ve ever been to! The staff are all so kind and caring. I have a 21 year old cat who has had severe diarrhea. Other than that for being so old he's healthy. Dr.Stickney has been so patient,caring,empathetic and very kind to me. Ive had a few melt downs in front of her.She is very understanding.Instead of just saying" you need to euthanize him" she has been looking for different solutions to get rid of his diarrhea. She gave him medication and recommended me buying special GI food for him. He is much better now and putting on weight. There is another animal hospital I won' t mention. Basically forced me to euthanize my dog after christmas without doing any examination. I still regret not taking him to this clinic.I rescued another dog in February . Dr.Stickney gave her a very thorough examination.She listens to everything I have to say .Answers all my questions. I' ve been to lots of vets and I' ve never had a vet do such a thorough examination on my animal.I will never take my animals anywhere else. I' m very happy with Dr.Stickney and all her staff. If you want a good, thorough , kind, caring veterinarian .Take my review seriously and take your fur babies to this clinic. They will be in very good hands.
Nic T: I love this vet. They're super knowledgeable and friendly. I brought my older Kitty there for 16 years and now my kittens. I trust all the vets in this clinic and appreciate their approach to animal care. Not only are the vets stellar but the techs and admin staff are also amazing. I think this clinic is fair with their prices for the high level of care and respect they offer to their clients. Highly recommend this clinic.

Anna Bana: I’ve been going to this vet clinic for years. The vets here are so kind and understanding and really want the best for your pet. The front staff is also very nice and welcoming. The clinic is under renovation currently but it will be much larger and modern. The only downside sometimes the phones don’t connect / long wait times on the phone but they get to you as fast as they can.

We mostly have dealt with Dr. Sheffield, although on occasion have had to have a visit here and there with other vets at the clinic. Everyone at this clinic is incredible! I only have postivies to say. From the time you enter the clinic and you are greeted front reception to all the vet techs to your time with the vet. Everyone always goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable. Dr. Sheffield is one of the most incredible people I have met and I trust her 100 percent. Dr. Sheffild always takes such gentle and loving care of my dogs and is so kind, genuine and patient with them and me. I do usually like to ask alot of questions to understand what is going on. She never once had made me feels rushed or that I was asking silly questions. All of my questions are always answered and I have a complete understanding before I leave. Dr.Sheffield has taken such good care of my dogs. I recently had to let go of one my little pups after 14 amazing years with him. Thru the heartbreaking pain of loosing my beloved family member Dr. Sheffield and her team were so compassionate with my Frankie, myself and my family. The experience was on our time, not rushed at all. We were able to say goodbye how we needed to. With the love and support of Dr. Sheffield and her team. All I felt was love. I cant say enough good things about DR. Sheffield and her team. Thank you for being so incredible. I would reccomend her and this clinic to my closest family and everyone else! You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Van Boxtel is very honest, compassionate, and dedicated - easily the best vet I have ever brought a pet to.I wanted to add a review so other chinchilla owners are aware that this is a good clinic to take their little puff balls to. The front staff and techs have always been extremely friendly and kind. Top Secret: I love this practice as a whole and Dr Littlejohn is just great in so many ways- he’s straight up, detailed, attentive, explains things very clearly and without rushing, compassionate etc you can just tell this is truly his passion. He often will follow up at the end of the day or a few days later after you see him to see how your pet is doing which I just really think is so amazing. He makes efforts to be as reasonable as possible with costs and will tell you what is essential and what would be maybe not as essential. I moved around a lot with my last dog so have seen a variety of vets and dr Littlejohn is the best. My last dog I was at the clinic practically every 2-3 weeks her last few months and the care the whole clinic team gave to me and my dog was unparalleled. Very selfishly, I hope he never retires.

Everybody here is so respectful and understanding. I needed to get an appointment asap because I was worried and I knew Oxford animal hospital would not let me down and I stood correct. Once I had called they told me that they were very busy but they would squeeze me in and get me seen right away. I head on over and within minutes I was in the exam room and the doctor was doing his exam. They listed out all my options on how to care for my baby and in no way did I feel pressure or rushed to make a decision. They treat your babies like their own. Cannot thank Oxford Animal Hospital enough for all they have done for me!!

perry: . The Emergency clinic saw it as a cash grab opportunity and were conducting all kings of unnecessary tests. I told them no more when they wanted to do an expensive barium test. They were rude, I paid them and they said my dog may not make it through the night.Next day I took my dog to Belle Rive Pet Hospital and Dr.Howlett said that those previous expensive tests were totally unnecessary. He put my doggo on IV and I picked him up a day later and he was back to great health.I totally recommend this clinic!
