Bombay Talkiz: what do users think?

Kaur Khehra: Curry was spilled on the naan after being improperly packaged in the uber eats order.I'd suggest Panner kadai because it was so good. very well-seasoned garlic naans. But the chaat papdi was tasteless and unappealing.

Monsoon Bistro & Bar: what do users think?

Hardeep sidhu: Very delightfull and mouthfull taste. Didnt expected it would be that good, but this place stands out as the food isnt spicy no extraa masalas or extra oil floating around the dishes. Perfect place for family and kids. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Masala bhindi

Sandra W: that I left my crossbody bag at the restaurant. When I went back looking for it, they took the time to check their security cameras to see if I had left the restaurant with it on, which I had. This was so helpful to know and I ended up finding it shortly after. For the staff to take that extra step to help their customers is just amazing. I am so impressed. I highly recommend Monsoon, this is a first class restaurant.

Kimiya Akbar: The food is amazing and very flavourful, just prepare yourself that everything is spicy. The service is nice.A small glitch: We asked for medium rare lamb chops, and they arrived fully cooked with our server explaining that the chef misunderstood and thought we had asked for medium spicy. For the price we paid, we expected an immediate replacement rather than a half apology without any suggestions for improvement.

Rob Kaplan: To quote any episode of Master Chef, Monsoon Bistro is Indian food elevated to the next level. Attached to the Holiday Inn, it’s a well decorated restaurant with big tables and comfy chairs that’s worthy of a fine dining experience. Immediately attended to by a young friendly female server, we appreciated being asked if we had any questions about the menu and we observed a fully staffed restaurant where they all seem devoted to providing good service. Considering that’s almost unheard of in today’s sad generation of understaffed establishments with angry inpatient young people who hate their jobs, that alone makes Monsoon a standout. But service is irrelevant if the food isn’t worthwhile and it’s clearly the star of the show. Serving Mughali as the regional style in Tandoori style, the menu is a bit different than your standard strip mall Indian joint and we heard the staff explaining to anyone unfamiliar with the dishes. Starting out with complimentary poppadoms that are perfectly airy and delicious, the chutneys are fresh, not watered down and served cold.Despite the amazing menu, we usually stick to typical favorites. The butter chicken is possibly the best we’ve ever eaten and we’ve lived in Calgary, San Francisco, and Malaysia where one third of the population is Indian so that’s saying a lot. Advertised as “smoky”, the sauce is brilliantly rich and creamy with a beautiful orange red color and the chicken is charcoal infused. It’s served in a large bowl that highlights the large chicken pieces and presentation is beautiful. The lamb biryani has large pieces of flavorful lamb and beautifully fluffy rice. Practically grease free, my stomach appreciated the healthier aspects but the flavor is also perfect. The mango lassi was thick, sweet and delicious.Naan is brought out in baskets with tongs and is such a perfect texture it’s like a small flatbread pizza. Soft and fluffy inside and perfect tandoori oven crust. And it’s much larger than most naan dishes with six large pieces.Wanting one unfamiliar dish, we tried a shared plate of Hara Tawa Paneer which were circular and pan seared with a green filling of kale, spinach and coriander. Completely different than a standard paneer dish in deep gravy, they were light, crispy and delicious dipped in the poppadom relishes. As it was my wife’s birthday, we asked about dessert and they brought out a complimentary large plate of cheesecake attractively served with some berry sauce and two servers sang happy birthday. The finishing touch was the owner coming out to inquire how the meal was. Even if it sounds cheesy, we appreciate the little things that dining out used to include before inflation, pandemics and Gen Z service came along so we raved about the meal and promised a stellar review.Coming in at less than $70, the price is perfectly reasonable and nothing is overpriced given the quality and service. Partnering with an ex chef from a Sorrento’s who trained the staff and chefs, the owner did a top notch job and I’d call easily it one of Edmonton’s top ten restaurants. We look forward to coming back to try more dishes.

Matthew D: Others at my table ordered dishes I could not pronounce, but they were familiar with. We all enjoyed it very much.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to choose from, and many gluten free options as well!Parking: Many parking spots, you won't have trouble!

AR FOREVER: Superb food with vibrant vibe is just a perfect combination for a restaurant...Our serve Kwahish was just awesome in services, she was prompt & perfect timing to take our order for entrees,Mains & desserts.Loved this would definitely suggest visiting ❤️

Bombay Chaat And Paan House: what do users think?

Priscilla Koehler: Our family came across this hidden gem for dinner and we were not disappointed. There were 5 adults and 1 infant. Promptly seated by Amit who was lovely and attentive! He made sure my child got her food first and it was such a generous portion of idly! We had leftovers for lunch and dinner next day for her! It was delicious! The adults ordered: Masala mysore dosa, chettinad dosa, egg & onion dosa, paneer dosa, butter chicken dosa and vegetarian manchurian Hakka noodles. We also got two types of drinks: falooda and mango lassi. The food was delicious and absolutely filling! My husband who can’t do too much spice - Amit was so caring and ensured the spice level met his needs. We look forward to coming back again!

Saira Patel: This place had lots of delicious food, so many options and the food was well cooked and served in good portions! The pricing was good, and we enjoyed our experience at Bombay Chaat. we visited and Amit helped us so much the whole time, he is an amazing waiter and was very kind the whole time. Thank you Amit and Bombay Chaat for an amazing dinner!

maninder grewal: Been meaning to go here since forever because it's my friend's favorite restaurant. The ambiance is so cozy and overwhelming in a good way. The premises were clean. The food was amazing. We absolutely loved the veggie momos. The sauce is to die for. Not for the faint hearted though. 🌶️The chili baby corn was so-so. A bit on the salty side.Manchurian with semi-gravy was really good.We also had the Kadahi Paneer, which in my opinion is the closest you could get to the food you get in India. 🏽 and the garlic naans were also great. The service is great and quick.Definitely recommended.P.S. The mango lassi is a must have. Better than other Indian restaurants.Vegetarian options: Lots of options.Parking: Lots of parking.

harmanjit kaur: was very professional and humble. She helped us choosing the menu and suggested great items. We loved “Honey chilli cauliflower, “paneer lababdar” and “Methi malai Soya”

Akbar Ali Khaliqdina: Amazing food and host. You can feel good quality ingredients and no corner cutting. It's value for money. Enjoyed the buffet and the items on the menu.Vegetarian options: Number of good options of vegetarian food.

B J: Haweli Indian Kitchen & Bar in South Common, Edmonton, is a popular Indian restaurant that offers a diverse menu of authentic Indian cuisine. They likely serve a variety of dishes, such as curries, tandoori specialties, biryanis, and more. The "Haweli" name often refers to a traditional Indian mansion or palace, which might reflect the restaurant's ambiance or decor. Keep in mind that specific menu items and experiences may vary, so it's a good idea to check their latest menu and reviews for the most accurate and up-to-date information before you plan a visit.

Derek Lukachko: . Great atmosphere too.

Khazana: what do users think?

Nick Little: Absolutely stunning atmosphere, waitstaff, and ambiance. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine at an affordable price, dishes here come with much more than you pay for. However, be wary of your taste buds! Most of the dishes come aggressively seasoned, whether it's sweetness, heat, or bitterness. They may not be what you expect. Many of their curry dishes are fantastic. I would recommend the butter chicken samosas and the rajasthani lamb - they are wonderfully filling at a very reasonable price.Update: After a return visit, I can say that the food lives up to my previously set standards, however, I can't say that I enjoy the modernized direction the restaurant is heading in. The change in music really detracts from the atmosphere, the robot waiters make for a crowded and overactive environment and their seems to be a lack in focus on sanitation. Hopefully the tables and cutlery will be clean for another visit if I choose to make one.

Sura Furkaan: I have one word for this experience."AWESOME"Best Food we ever had.My cousin's family, Uncle and Aunt, and my sister and I loved the food. The Hyderabadi Biryani and Chicken Afghani were delicious.

ANISH ABRAHAM PHILIP: Cheap and good Kerala food. They have offers on stuff every weekend worth checking it out.Recommended dishes Beef Olathiyatheu …

Jose Cyriac: I recently ordered takeout from Masalaz and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding.I opted for the chicken biriyani with chicken 65 and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the biriyani had just the right amount of spice. The packaging was also well-done, with the food arriving hot and neatly packaged. The portion sizes were generous, and I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal without any hassle. The staff were also friendly and accommodating, with my order being ready for pickup on time. Overall, I would highly recommend Masalaz restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal. The food, packaging, and service were all top-notch, and I cannot wait to order from them again in the future.
