Abi Boothe: If you're a foodie seeking a fantastic time, this Jamaican festival is a must attend. Cheers to an unforgettable experience!
Donette Wynter: "Cocktails and Jerk Festival” is an event in Edmonton that's a must-attend! The diverse range of cocktails and mouthwatering cuisine capture the essence of the islands perfectly. Add in the music, performances, and a vibrant atmosphere, and you've got an unforgettable celebration of Caribbean culture. Don't miss it!I travelled all the way from Calgary for this experience and I am so happy I did🙂.
Sara A: What an amazing experience!

Dajana Fabjanovic: . They especially loved the sunburst balloon backpacks
Bernadine: We went out last night for a family experience. We brought a 9 month old baby and she was mesmerized the entire time. No crying for her. There were lots of lights in the night sky and lots of action to keep her interested. I really enjoyed it. The parade reminded me of a night time Mardi gra. I hope this festival grows larger bc it really is a nice event. There was a live band and independent musicians playing all over. There are food trucks and some local restaurants stay open a bit later. I'm going back.
Justin Eccles: Amazing family friendly fun.
Brianna VanDewark: This is 1 of my favourite festivals in Edmonton! There's something for everyone ❤️
Delores Leonard: Fantastic annual event in the inner city. Lots of free parking around Avenue neighbourhood. Great place to bring the kids and family for a weekend of fun. I attend every year.
Kirk Dewhurst: Alberta Avenue hosts several festivals during the year. Just went to the Kaleido Family Arts Festival and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of activities for the family. Awesome live entertainment and music. It’s an outdoor festival so the weather can be a problem sometimes but tonight it was great. If it’s a bit cold then there are several fire pits spaced throughout the festival area. This is a great festival to come to and enjoy.

ruma jo: Great festival, lots of family fun
Thomas P: This is truly a beautiful place! We went there in late February of 2017 and had a wonderful time. The multi colored ice Palace was the best - especially after sundown - the place is full of different colored lights that glow through the ice of the excellent craftsmanship in the sculptures! We arrived in the early afternoon, stayed until dark and left after 9pm. Took a dinner break in between. Snacks, walks, skating, games, singing, music, horse rides etc - lots of options. Quite a variable and vibrant site to see for people of all ages! It is a great place to take your family or that special someone to!So we had a great time and that outing was a beautiful moment - one of the best days in my life - that will be etched in time. Truly irreplaceable. Some memories are simply worth cherishing and keeping around and this is one of them. Thank you, Silver Skate Festival, for being around and providing such a variety of fun activities, fun moments and great memories at a wonderful festival! Give the Silver Skate Festival a look see!
Kamal Khan: Best thing to do in Edmonton. We loved it when lived in Edmonton. Even now this year looking forward to visit Edmonton for this festival
Corbin Fadi Tom: I recommend Hawrelak Park during Silver skate festival, Edmonton , Alberta - CanadaTime well spent with family and relatives , kids love it ,Spectacular
Monique MacDonald: Great winter festival!
Kirk Dewhurst: Bring on winter, bring on the snow, bring on the ice, bring on the skating. It’s a great winter festival. The setting at Hawrelak Park is awesome. There are lots of things to do, activities like skating, lantern making, bannock cooking, sleigh ride, hockey and other things. I came with my wife and we both loved being there and enjoyed the festival. This is the first time for us, I know the festival has been around for over 25 years and this is the first time, it was way overdue.
