Tzin Wine & Tapas: what do users think?

Tina: We opted to celebrate our anniversary here and we had an awesome Saturday night! Special thanks to lovely servers!Vegetarian options: Salads, falafel or patatas bravas

Vanessa Wedick: . But I guess that’s tapas so no fault of the place. The servers are lovely and very knowledgeable about wine pairings! Highly recommend the white wine riesling. Also the salmon is incredible!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Falafel Balls, Harissa Prawn …

Kristine Fabish: .Each dish came out as a different course which was great for our party who were catching up after being apart for so long. All the food was so amazing that I forgot to take pictures. It was all flavourful, tasty, and well seasoned. Each of us had a different favorite dish but also enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Gnocchi with mushroom and cherry sauce, followed closely by the Bacon. The only drawback from the night was that nearby parking was pretty expensive but also not unexpected for the neighborhood.

Ivy L: I love going to Tzin whenever I'm in Edmonton. I hate Edmonton but Tzin is one of the only things that makes Edmonton bearable for me. I might be biased though because tapas are my favourite type of food. The food is definitely pricy for small portions, but that's generally how it goes for tapas. I think considering how delicious the food is, the price tag is fair. The Bacon is phenomenal. My husband doesn't generally like bacon, but at Tzin, he ate most of the dish that we were sharing. I also really enjoyed the sea salt and caramel steak. Wood smoked caramel drizzled on a medium rare steak is something I never pictured together before, but they really make it work!I was introduced to Tzin from the Downtown Dining Week event and I'm so glad I did. The servers are always attentive and it's such an intimate dining experience.

Sheida Noroozi: We opted to spend our anniversary dinner at Tzin and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service! The wine recommendation paired nicely with the dishes we had selected. The bacon is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! A must try!

Bodega Tapas & Wine Bar: what do users think?

Mebs Chhagan: Absolutely enjoyed our evening here. Dan our server was a breath of fresh air.His parents should be very proud of him. His served us with a constant smile and made us feel very comfortable.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: Gluten free options.

Nour Ben-Abdallah: Food was absolutely delish! but the Server was OUT OF THIS WORLD seriously if you come here request to be served by Bella. She went above and beyond for my table and her banter is quite amusing. I would definitely come back this place is superb !

Thomas Whaley: The service was excellent, very friendly and helped explain things. The menu is big with lots of tasty items to try. I had the Lobster risotto and my friend the Seafood paella both were delicious and large serving’s.Recommended dishes Lobster Risotto …

Eat Wide: I finally made my way over to check out Bodega Tapas & Wine Bar by SABOR. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had.The food were excellent, the wine was divine, and the service exceptional and friendly.Ahi Tuna salad - The tuna was fresh and delicious, the cucumber and green salad was delicious, with a twist of curry in the sauce.Tomatoes Bruschetta - Served with a crunchy baguette and a delicious tomato salad, don't miss outI have to say the Octopus is a delicious dish that is perfectly prepared and is accompanied by a delicious olive tapenade. It melts in your mouth like butter!Even though we were so full, the lobster risotto was the perfect end to a great mealThe wine menu was unique and there was a 50% discount on Wednesdays so we enjoyed excellent Spanish wines. Dry Rose & VerdejoThe kitchen will always substitute vegetables and food-sensitive/allergy options whenever possible. Make sure you try the artichokes!Definitely one of my favorites!

Greg Johnston: Bodega always impresses! One of our party has gluten intolerance and dairy allergy, and these guys understand how to ensure a safe and tasty meal.We just had tapas, but each was fantastic - grilled octopus, scallops, and huge shrimp were all gluten and dairy free. We also had Portuguese bread and a mixed mushroom dish that were incredible! We’ve been to Bodega and Sabor a number of times, and will definitely continue to return.

Anthony Neil Simpson: Wow. Had never been, stopped in after grand daughters Christmas concert. Had the tapa's with wine pairing and it was excellent! We've been to tapa's bars in Barcelona, Sitges, Terragona, Lleida, Girona, and all parts in between and these were as good if not better than any we've had in Spain! We will definitely make this a regular stop. It was also less expensive than a dinner for the 2 of us with wine at BP's!

Shalima Tissera: From appetizers to large meals to dessert every bite was amazing! 10/10!! Great portions and taste, would recommend.

Bündok: what do users think?

Jesse Blond: Had the best time at Bundok with my buddies before the hockey game. Got served up some great food and amazing cocktails. If you’re looking to get some great tasting drinks, that you might not have tried before, go see Meera, she was super knowledgeable and friendly. Helped me pair my meal with a great tasting cocktail

Alison Chang: Go to date night space. This place never disappoints.

Michaela Milne: I always have the best meals here! Great for dates, family events and everything in between. The food, cocktails and wine are always 10/10. If she’s in, ask for Meera she’s such a delight!

Jill Rosser: Cocktails was great!! Nice atmosphere

Chanelle Roussel: We were recommended this place by a friend of mine. We walked in ans they opened and it was empty and they said they were full but could accomodate us at the bar. Both my partner and I found it excellent. The service was great, ambiance was calm and the food was delicious. The flavors were great. We had the soup to start… I believe it was a mushroom soup but can’t remember it was a couple weeks ago, the gnocchi and the chicken and we all loved it. Had no more room for dessert. We expected smaller portion so we ordered a lot but the portion were also very generous for the amount we paid. The soup was honestly to die for. Wish I had room for dessert! Will be back!

Naeem Hussein: Great service and delicious gnocchi + Striploin steak!Recommended dishes Gnocchi …

Vanessa Torres: We really enjoyed our pre-Valentine’s day dinner at Bundok, and tried a variety of dishes on the menu. Service was attentive, vibe was cozy and romantic, and all the dishes were good - though nothing blew us away. All in all, a great option for a special occasion!

Nicole Lamothe: Soooo good. Cocktails were so yummy. Food was perfect. Atmosphere is cozy. I will definitely be coming back

Kevin Fyfe: We went today on a free day which was Treaty No. 6 Recognition Day & really enjoyed all the cool art.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Ian C: Enjoyed the banksy/Warhol exhibit!

Kim: Nice facility but lacking in terms of volume, it's rather small and modest.Depends on the exhibits they have on display when you go and if your interest in them. It is currently Pop Art like Andy Warhol and Banksy and such. This was great and the galleries are clean and very cleanly laid out. It isn't huge in terms of volume as it seems most of it is on loan from a single private collector. The other galleries, especially the third floor video galleries are VERY avant garde and takes a particular mindset to interpret, which I do not possess, humbly speaking. The bottom floor exhibition was closed when I went so there wasn't too much to see.

jf paquette: Beautiful pieces of work to be seen, and the music gallery was interesting. 3 floors of beautiful art work. They were hosting the indigenous artists market, at the same time as my visit which in itself was interesting to see, all the traditional art and items they make.Definitely would go back, especially if the market is there again.

Kendelle Marr: Love the AGA! Recently saw the Pop Art exhibition with Warhol, Lichtenstein, Banksy, etc. Amazing! Plus, the architecture is wonderful.

Taruni Tyagi: The experience was different.... contemporary art is beautiful here...gallery is not as big as the art gallery of Ontario and has less of the traditional oil paintings etc.but is definitely a breath of fresh air with more current work on display... building architecture is intriguingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Mali Rabinovich: Great exhibition from Warhol to Banksy!!! Love it a lot

Ruth's Chris Steak House: what do users think?

Brad Anderson: Had the pleasure of taking my beautiful girl and her three children for dinner on Saturday, Aug. 17. Morgan was our server and was very proper, professional, and friendly. We ordered: caesar salads for everyone, the large seafood tower, the tomahawk ribeye, 16oz bone in tenderloin, mushrooms, asparagus, french fries, and the potatoes au gratin.Everything was exceptional, and the steaks were a beautiful medium rare and paired it with the Baker cabernet. The pacing of the meal was perfect, I do not like feeling rushed. For desserts, we shared the banana cream pie, key lime pie, cheesecake, and the creme brule, which were all great....that banana cream pie is exceptionally incredibleEverything was spot on.Thank you to all the staff, the nice gentlemen who filled our water, Morgan, and the kitchen for a memorable evening.

Debraj Dutta: I had an absolutely delightful experience celebrating my birthday with my wife at Ruth's. Everything was just perfect! I ordered a 16oz medium rare rib eye, and it was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The garlic bread we ordered was incredibly delicious, even though it may have been a tad bit oilier than expected. But who can resist indulging in some comforting and delectable garlic bread, right? 😄Our server, Tyler, truly added to the wonderful experience. His knowledge and warmth in service were commendable. Tyler recommended a local brew beer that had this delightful citrus note to it – a fantastic choice, as I thoroughly enjoyed the drink. As a delightful surprise, they treated me to a Crème Brûlée, which was an absolute treat and generously portioned enough to share between two. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more special. From the delicious food to the attentive service, our time at Ruth's was truly memorable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to others, and my wife and I are already looking forward to returning for another fantastic dining experience. Thank you, Ruth's, for making my birthday celebration a remarkable one!

Wifes Hubby: Great food and excellent service from the staff. They made it a special anniversary dinnerParking: $17 for parking beside the restaurant

Dustin Weinbrecht: Ruth Chris is one my favorite steakhouses anywhere. This particular location is in downtown Edmonton. Great choice for a date night, and a phenomenal steak. Ambiance, service and food are all really good. Not cheap, but worth the cost imo. The lobster bisque phenomenal and the shrimp appetizer is excellent. That said, for a Ruth Chris the steak was not quiet as good as what I’m used to but still solid.

Kaitlyn M: Amazing food and service!! We came in with no reservation and we sat in the bar side which was really beautiful. It was busy and I believe it was actually the manager Jen?? who served us and she made us feel welcomed and took us through the menu and even bought us desert for my partner’s birthday! The food was unbelievable especially the lamb and the mac and cheese with lobster on top. I’m going to bring my mom for her birthday. A really cool experience here and I understand the hype.

Sheryl McGuire: 40 oz porterhouse and sweet potato casserole. We really appreciated that the steak stayed hot due to their unique methods of serving it. It was extremely tender. The casserole too was very delicious. Dessert was the Banana Cream Pie and it was awesome! We are glad to have been to Ruth Chris!!

Victor Sharkov: The steak was wonderful!A worthy place to spend an evening with friends in a relaxed atmosphere!

Stacy Marshall: Was a fabulous experience... the food was so delicious and the staff was efficient and friendly.Dietary restrictions: They make all fresh in their kitchen and can also make sure that nothing gets cross contaminated in the kitchen...

Shayla Skare: and all the wait staff was phenomenal. We ordered the tomahawk steak and it was delicious and the waitress wrapped the bone in a to go container so I can take it home to my dogs. I have 5 dogs and they've all had their share of it and after a month of having it, it still disappears then reappears making the dogs happy.

The Melting Pot Edmonton: what do users think?

C.M. Neely: Have been enjoying the Melting Pot experience for years, my husband and I come for anniversaries, birthdays and have invited friends to check it out.Highly recommend the Fiesta or Classic Alpine cheese fondue, the Steak Lovers cooked in Coq Au Vin style and the Flaming Turtles Chocolate!Don't forget to buy their special seasoning, its great to add in ceaser salads but really tastes good on everything!

Tina Rodgers: Absolutely amazing food! Our daughter is gluten intolerant. They made certain she had just as much of a wonderful experience as we all did. Had her own items. Was amazing. It is always worth the price as the selection is wonderful and so delicious. It is a really fun experience and I loved it. I great place for quality family time! Great conversations and good healthy choices! Portions are huge.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!

Thomas Harris: Great for an intimate meal and privacy for 2Dietary restrictions: Kept us informed as wife has citrus allowedRecommended dishes Original Chocolate Fondue, Cheddar Potato Soup, Steak Lover's, House Salad …

James Needham: My wife and I went here for dinner before a movie on our date night. The venue is really warm and inviting. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The food is absolutely delicious, but at quite a high price point considering how much you get. With 1 drink each, dinner was about $160 after tax but before tip. I went in moderately hungry and came out satisfied, but still looking forward to popcorn at the theater. Dinner service is very long, with 3 courses needing about 40 minutes each. First course has melted cheese with bread and appetizer items to dip. Second course has meats and seafood if you like to cook in broth. Third course has melty chocolate with fruit, brownie bites, and cake bites to dip. This place allows you to be playful with your foods and gives you a long time to talk over dinner, making it ideal for anniversaries, Valentine's days, and perfect for those all important third dates. 💖

Ryan Toxopeus: The best dining experience I have had in years. We got the 4-course dinner for two, and it was a delightful experience! The Quattro cheese fondue, Caesar salad, Alberta entree and milk chocolate fondue were all amazing. Our server had amazing energy and his suggestions were perfect. I tried mixing the teriyaki sauce with the curry for my steak, and it was SO GOOD! Can't recommend this place highly enough. Lots of food, and we were there for 2 hours.

Crystal Wells: The waiter was very very slow, even had to track him down after 40 minutes just waiting for the bill. Food was amazing though but probably shouldn't be a 3.5 hour adventure lolParking: Just not enough spots for the area with multiple businesses

Katy Llewellyn: Absolutely fantastic! Well worth our 2 hour drive! The night we went, it was super busy. Even with our resvation we had to wait 20 minutes past our time. The manager noticed we were waiting and offered to pay for our first round of drinks. It made us feel that he was very knowledgeable about the guests he had in his resuraunt and that he cared about our experience. We also had an amazing server! I believe his name was Brandon. He was very kind, funny, patient and helpful! When he was presenting our meal, he told our kids a story about if they loose any of the food in the oil they failed swimming lessons and the spoon is the lifeguard so it just scoops them out. It was cute when that happened to our youngest and he reiterated the story. The food presentation was marvelous and it tasted even better! We left feeling happy, full and very impressed! Attention to all details is very important for a gusts experience, this restaurant exceeded here. A job very well done!
