Bryan Whitford: I stumbled upon two wonderful employees helping out a community member in distress. They did an amazing job keeping the community member safe, relaxed and cared for until the ambulance was called. Firefighters were the first to respond and took over the scene. The firefighters then proceeded to demonstrate why the emergency response system needs to change and decolonize, as the trust between community member and responder deteriorated almost immediately.Keep up the amazing work you do in the community. What you’re doing is making a difference.

leona paetsch: I lived at Villa Rosa 47 years ago. It was a great place for young women to have the opportunity to learn about making good choices and to make a plan for their future and their child’s future. It also opens your eyes that all people make mistakes and the only difference was that ours showed, which gave many of the girls incentive to be more positive about themselves and their choices. You also learned that a lot of the girls had it worse than you did. The nuns kept a tight ship but it was the structure we needed. Bless the people who worked their for giving all unwed mothers some love that was needed.
Candace Wright: I actually worked at Villa Rosa years ago. The experience affected me in an unbelievable way and still does. Sister Adrienne loved those girls like no other. I even spoke with one of the girls who stayed there recently and she is doing amazing. There is no better place for a unwed mother to spend her pregnancy. Everyone who is fortunate enough to be touched by the staff will do better in life afterwards. God blesses this home continuously.

Adam Peiffer: So much better than the Marlborough where I drained all my savings just to end up here. Amazing. Clean, safe, privacy and bigger/better rooms than a hotel. Wish I could undo that $900 mistake but alas, looking forward. Great place to get back on your feet. And unlike the Marlborough, they don't steal your stuff.
Akindele Opoola: Social services here is unparallel. I'm trilled by the housing they provide for the homeless.

Tricia Robinson: Many services for families. Parenting, babysitter training classes, home alone classes. Family drop in, Dress for Success Winnipeg helps women with clothing for interviews.
Tatjana Scholl: Really great place! Very family friendly. They run a lot of programs. Great help for the community!
Emily CPY: The Dress for Success program is a great place to give a second life to any work appropriate women's clothing you're thinking of donating. One of the best ways to help women and their children is to set them up for career success. Looking professional and feeling confident going to an interview makes a big difference.
Tannis Hewitt: SWFIC provides several great services to the community: they take donations of gently worn business clothes so that women can go on professional job interviews. They also do a lot of family training- babysitting and "home alone" classes.
