ryan mitchell: Ok so, this is a converted home into a hostel, it has a private bathroom, and the the bedrooms are privacy cubicles, with a privacy curtain and sockets at the head of the bed, it also has lockers as well. The staff were unbelievably accommodating and friendly! They even invited me to have dinner and wine before I left. I think the warm welcome of the staff and owner were by far the best part of this experience.It features a full kitchen and a full sitting room which is being used as a common room, it has a range of books, a guitar and a tv. The WiFi is free and fast and has a free breakfast every morning which is usually pancakes or granola yoghurt with coffee and tea.It’s rare to find a hostel like this, I’ve travelled extensively and never had such a warm welcome!I will certainly be back here. ☺️🤘🏽💜
Lukas Reim: A beautiful, warm, welcoming little Hostel in great location. The hostel really does feel like a home, it was always impeccably clean and great breakfast is served every morning. Dominique, the owner, went out of her way to make my stay more enjoyable and helped me out wherever she could. I have been travelling for a long time and this is easily one of the best places I ever encountered - I ended up staying three weeks. Would definitely recommend to every traveller coming through Winnipeg.
Campbell McLisky: Awesome little hostal just in the right location, what's great about how small it is, is that you talk more often with people, warm vibe to the place, nice and relaxing, it's got all the essentials that you need to survive and is what I would say an awesome place to stay. Would highly reccomend to others thinking about staying.

The Downtown Guest suites offer a convenient location and comfortable accommodations while away from home for career pursuits or personal reasons in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Service can be offered in English, Português, Deutsch, Français, and Español.
Our two private suites – The Classic Suite and Sunshine Suite – are located in a quiet apartment building. Both are clean, inviting, and fully furnished. The living room/bedroom combination includes a queen size bed, sofa or futon, sheets and towels (changed weekly), air conditioning, TV with Netflix, Blu-ray player (with over 70 DVDs to choose from), phone, wired and wireless internet, iron and ironing board, laundry hamper, and tourist information. Both suites also include a 3-piece bathroom with blow dryer and a full sized and fully equipped kitchen with fridge and stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, pots, dishes, cutlery, etc.
There are laundry facilities onsite and parking can usually be provided behind the building with advance notice.

Betty Alexander: Everything was beautifully clean, the bed was really comfy, there were a few food items in the fridge and fruit on the table. The unit was quiet and cozy. We loved it! Definitely a great place to stay!Many thanks to Randy and Janine for making us feel so welcome.

Clean, comfortable, and most importantly, the hosts are very hospitable and kind, they will always prompt, explain, and this is very important for those who are new to Canada. Then, when they immigrated, they happily rented a house from Randy and Janine for another two years, until they bought a house. This is amazing place!!! 🙌💯✔️Very nice landlords, always helpful and friendly✔️Super clean building✔️Location🗺 you don't need a bus, walk distance to any place in downtown✔️ cameras, digital key system makes you feel safe

Esperanza Carvajal: Downtownsuites is an excellent place to get to winnipeg, it is perfect since it is very well located near a park if you go with children, close to doing all the rounds canada service, manitoba health, manitoba start, supermarkets etc. Additionally, this place is fully equipped, clean and organized with excellent Wi-Fi connection. Janine and Randy are adorable, super helpful, friendly willing to help you with anything.

They are very attentive people and always willing to help their guests. The suite is spacious, clean and well located for those who work or study in the center.

Its cozy safe, privateand very convenient, thanks to its location and convenience, due to its closeness to most important pars of the city, specially the downtown.The owners are awsome human beings, servicial, friendly and clean, they guide you through the city and the have tons of information about the different activities and places you can visit during your stay, at Winnipeg.

ELAINE FERREIRA: My husband and I stayed at the Downtown Guest Suites when we moved to Winnipeg from Brazil. It was the best choice we made. We had wonderful service since we booked by email. Upon arrival, we were surprised that service was provided in Portuguese, as Janine is bilingual.Our suite had everything we needed and more, as Janine and Randy have prepared a guide with all the information about Winnipeg that a newcomer could need.Everything was perfectly clean and tidy and we even found homemade cookies with a welcome note.In addition, they helped us adapt to the city, Canadian culture and even the job market.If I could, my review would have 10 stars

dorian boggy: I gave this a 5-star because it the hosts, Randy and Janine, are wonderful people who did everything they could to make things comfortable and accommodating to me. I stayed in a guest suite for about 1 month, and while I was looking for an apartment around the city, a room became available in the same building. Randy and Janine welcomed me to stay and I was grateful. It's a very convenient location with grocery stores, restaurants and even a hospital within walking distance. I highly recommend staying there, whether short-term or long-term!
Yuriy Ankudinov: The location is very convenient, you can reach everything in downtown just walking around. The suites are very clean and couzy. Furnished and unfurnished suites are available for a good price. Quiet and respectful atmosphere in the building. Landlord family is very kind and helpful. They are always happy to make tenants feeling like at home.
