redlemon photography: . That alone is an immense bonus to her work.But aside that, her photography is fantastic as well. Her style is exactly what i'd been looking for for this shoot, alluring and sensual and mysterious and a bit on the darker side, think a dark cirque / cabaret type thing. And holy smokes, did Barbara deliver. We came in with a few ideas but then it just unfolded from there. Her style is cinematic and she does it so well. She's open to exploring and she's creative in the way she frames the shot and moves from one pose to the next, it never feels like you're going through a series of standard poses. It's organic, natural and playful. Creativity aside, she also knows what she's doing on a technical level, so you can be assured that you'll have way more photos to chose from than you might expect. Choosing your album is no easy task, you'll want to take all the pictures home with you!I could go on and on, but i think that sums it up. Barbara is amazing behind and besides the camera and i'd shoot with her in a heartbeat!

ANITA VERNAUS: I had the most wonderful experience ever with Luminaire Studio. Going into this photoshoot I was very nervous because I'm a thick girl, and I'm not always comfortable in my own skin. But from the minute I walked in the door Barbara was very inviting, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable. She makes it a very personal experience offering something to drink and snacks. She took the time to talk to me about what we would do, we went over clothing choices, and when it was time to shoot she really gave me a sense of empowerment, and got me pumped up to take the photos. Once in the studio, she put on some fun music, and showed me the set ups she planned for me. She took the time to show me poses that would best showcase me and my body type. After the shoot we talked about what happens next. Fast forward to a week later....As I walked in for the reveal of the photos she had one of them up on a screen, welcoming me back. It was absolutely gorgeous. Then she set up a video to show me all of the photos. Once the video was complete a I was set up to scroll through and pick the photos I wanted to order. It was such a hard decision, but she was there to help give advice. Once i had picked my photos the digital images were loaded to a USB and my prints were ordered. The Prints were amazing. They were printed on this great matte board, with a border. They are absolutely stunning. The overall experience was Amazing. If you are looking to have a Boudoir Shoot done, I would highly recommend checking out Luminaire Studio. I plan on doing another shoot in the future, and am excited for when I can do it again!!
Jen Shellenberg: As a self conscious woman I was hesitant at first to book an appointment for a Boudoir photo shoot. I called a few different studios before booking, but after speaking with Barbara I knew she was the one! When I arrived at her studio for my photo shoot I was welcomed with my own personal set up, snacks, drinks and even a personalized welcome sign with my name on it. She is very thorough with explaining how the shoot will go, giving pointers and constantly encouraging you and making you feel comfortable and confident. The photo shoot itself was so much fun! For the first time in a long time I felt beautiful, sexy, and confident in my own skin. My photos turned out amazing! I highly recommend Barbara and I can’t wait to book another appointment in the future.
