Anthony: The staff is friendly and helpful. Room was done up well and clean. Very modern feel inside as opposed to outside which looks run down.Unique FREE breakfast that is included in your stay that is much better quality then that of other hotels.Homeless seem to frequent the parking lot and harass customers. The casino and beer store that are attached probably contribute to this.
Tran Chung: Clean room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They care about the guest's experience. The table service for breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Something that would have cost $40 is complimentary. I had to ask the front desk twice to make sure lol. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a lot cheaper than the downtown ones.

K M: Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Room was so clean and welcoming, staff were delightful and helpful. Denise was exceptionally wonderful and helped me out when I had car trouble and had to stay an extra night. Plus, the slushies are awesome. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe staying here. I will definitely be back anytime I am passing through.
Edward M: Way better than other Super 8s I've stayed at. Newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff, and welcoming for my dogs with a little treat bag. Delicious grab and go breakfast! They've got games too, although I don't think they were available during covid. Fitness centre is big and we'll equipped, with equipment in great shape. Hot tub!
Sharon Hamilton: My husband and I stayed in a kitchenette suite for four days in July and next time we come to Winnipeg we will stay here again. This is a fabulous hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and hard-working. Everything is clean: the room, the stairways, the hallways, the fitness centre, the laundry room. They provide free 24 hour coffee and tea, slushies all day, and lemon water in the afternoon. The 4-hour breakfast has lots of variety and they use washable dishes with very little plastic waste. Even the yogurt comes in a dispenser. The room was compact but well designed so there was lots of space--and shampoo etc dispensers in the bathroom instead of little bottles. Having two sinks and a full size fridge was great. The fitness centre has a lot of different machines, including weight machines. The hot tub was big and worked well. Our room faced the #1 Highway so with the window open it was pretty loud, but with the window closed it was fine. The air conditioning worked well. My only suggestion is to put a sign in the laundry room to say how long the washer and dryer take to run their cycle so you know when to come back. They don't do housekeeping unless you ask for it, but they did check to see if we needed anything. The whole atmosphere is cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.Safety: The hotel and area felt very safe.Walkability: Lots of restaurants and a mall within walking distance. Easy to drive to anywhere because you're on the main Street through a Winnipeg. You can walk to the Assiniboine River through a nice neighborhood south of the hotel.

Saymy Name: a reminder when you're booking would be nice. I always expect a deposit but everywhere runs them between $200-$350 depending so I would like to know ahead of time to keep my finances on trip in order. Otherwise, decent hotel for what I needed. The bar does get loud so maybe pick a different hotel for weekends.Rooms: Rooms are old but again, you get what you pay for

They have a vending machine but its not stocked with items that are sustainable.Shopper's Drug Mart is across the street, so you can have some food options from there...or the many restaurants in the area, including the Korean BBQ attached to the hotel.Its a walk-up, so if you need the mainfloor, I'd call ahead. We were asked if the second floor was okay, we agreed. They want to ensure that they have main floor suites for folks who need them.Parking: free and ample

Dan me: I just got a call from queen bee regarding my luggage, last time we stayed there we did a lot of shopping, a few boxes of goods and couldn't leave them in our vehicle because back in December there were 3 vehicle break in including our vehicle was damaged.Limited to 2 pieces luggage allowed per room is what I was told, so I had to cancel my reservation. Shopping out of question if staying there. Giving heads up on allowable pieces of luggage.

It is a bit far from the downtown Winnipeg area but the hotel has a bus stop right infront of it and it felt to be in a safe area and was a great price. If we ever have to or just get the chance for fun to come back to Winnipeg, we will be trying to stay here again!Thank you so much April for your help and kindness when we booked and to the rest of the staff.
Murray Kull: and the building was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a good place to stay, excellent value for what we paid. There is a restaurant next door and lots of retail services nearby. We would definitely stay there again and also recommend it to others.

I dont usually order out and almost never breakfast if I do but I have been stuck at home sooo sick that I cant go out and finally felt hungry, just starving,so I ordered off Skip.The app was being weird and they called me just to make sure I still needed the order and make sure what kind of hashbrown I wanted then sent down an incredible, huge ,hot, super tasty meal with perfect pancakes. Daniel Jolic: Location is good right off the Trans Canada Highway. The rooms were comfortable and clean. However, it hard to lug the bags up and down the stairs due to lack of elevator. Also, the continental breakfast was not the best - no eggs/meat/potatoes. Overall, it was decent.

The pool and hot tub are perfect temperatures and there’s a neat sitting area to hang out at as well.The evening Manager on duty was very accommodating and hospitable.It ain’t no 5 star hotel but the price is right for a decent place.

Great friendly staff, awesome poolside area and a great selection of different types of rooms to suite your needs.Rooms: I really like the poolside rooms with 2 entrance ways and they have a variety of different room including Roomy Hot tub suites.
Frank O: When my wife first walked in to book our room she was met by friendly staff and offered a latte by the hotel manager followed by a friendly comment. I was a little concerned about noise from a room next to the pool but pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast in the morning to carry on after a comfortable sleep.

Really??? That pr…k. Never again. Couple months later talking to a Freind about my experience……. They did the same to him. Nasty!!!

Nikkiann Doran (nikkiann): We were there sept 1st we went to have a few drinks and play pool my kids and I. While we were at the pool table some patron was trying to hook up to the Bluetooth on the TV n the name that showed was get a job u squaw..was really passed off as we were the only natives in there. The security man working was amazing as he came n tried to figure out who did it n since he couldn't he just turned the TV off. Was really upset that we were trying to enjoy our night but some idiot ruined it. We will go back as it was not the bars fault ...

Sandi McLaren: Super 8 is always consistently great for us. We book a pet friendly room on the main level. It's always spotless with crisp linens. Staff have accommodated requests from us over our numerous stays with ease. Pool area is stocked with tons of water toys for the kids and lots of pool towels. Breakfast is solidly good but a menu change would be nice when staying 4 or 5 days. The 'slurpee' machine serving lemonade slushes was a nice after dinner summer time treat this visit
Heidi Halwa: We booked here while traveling through from Ontario to Alberta. The last time I stayed at a Super 8 hotel was years ago and it was mediocre at best. I must say, I was completely blown away by how nice this hotel was. Not to mention it is pet friendly and has very reasonable pet fees unlike some other hotels. This hotel was nicer than a lot of hotels I have stayed at in recent months/years. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, continental was better than most, and staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever passing through Winnipeg!
Roger Cox: Very convenient location right by the Yellowhead Hwy. Made for a quick trip in the morning when we were driving across Canada. The customer service was exceptional as well! They had a treasure box that our son was able to pick a prize from. When it broke because of rough playing after the first night, they let him pick 2 more items to make him feel better. Rooms were very clean - highly recommended!
Tania Kohl: Well I’m not sure why this has only a 2 star. Should be 3 or 4 for sure.Brand new, spacious gorgeous rooms, beautiful lobby, front of hotel and sitting area. There is a back patio with a pergola and lights and a field for your pet to run. There is a Hottub and pool, excellent breakfast included. There is even a complimentary slushy machine and treats for the doggies!!The staff were so pleasant and I absolutely would recommend this place. Well done Super 8. Best one I ever stayed in. You should use this one as a template.
