Richard: Best bookstore in the city. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very comforting. The bargain section is huge and has really good books in it!The location is a little bit inconvenient for me, but it’s worth the travel if i’m looking to expand my home library! Highly recommend, even if you aren’t a book lover.

It's my Sunday ritual to visit first thing in the morning and buy my favorite magazine and look around at all the various lovely books and nice greeting cards. The staff is most helpful and very nice. My sister who lives in Toronto love to shop here when she comes to Winnipeg. The best book store ever!!!

Paul Nazareth: Bookstores - a rare thing these days and what a location! I’m not from this Province so not familiar with this store and the unique selection was just fantastic.Lots more than books here, unique gifts and items. I bought a beautiful pair of art-socks!Staff were warm and helpful - cannot recommend a visit enough.

Laurie Sodomlak: A visit to the Fork without stopping into McNally is not possible. Their collection of books for such a small space is stellar. Today I was demonstrating self control and walked away empty handed but took pick of a book for next visit.

Lorraine James: I rarely patronize this bookstore, but the night I attended, there was poetry reading. Yes, I indulged in listening to some poetry! Twas delightful. Had drinks with the poets afterwards, but the atmosphere was comfortable and effervescent.

Fiona Anthes: A great little bookstore that punches above its weight! I’ve bought adult fiction, children’s books, journals, and some used gems here. They’ve also ordered in titles that they didn’t have in stock for me, so they’ve never let me down.
MD C: I have had the pleasure of visiting this bookstore twice and have had excellent experiences both times. The staff members I spoke with were very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love their wrapped books that you get to pick blindly based on their descriptions. Both of my picks ended up being great books I might not have picked up on my own. R W: Lots of books, comics, cds, dvds, vinyl some collectibles etc. If you love sorting and searching through piles of stuff this is the place for you. Some junk but lots of good stuff. Marginally organized -you will have to love treasure hunting. The guys are willing to bargain if you are reasonable. Long time owner and establishment that gives good memories of when downtown was thriving with other record shops and retail. One of the originals still somehow in business decades later.

When I encounter good people/sales people and the selection, then that right there creates “value” more than the “price tag “ alone .Here I found true value amongst others that seemed to also have values .Very happy .I intend to make my next trip here tomorrow or Tuesday .

Amelia Tompkins: Currently under construction so a bit chaotic to navigate, however, friendly staff and a good amount of space, so lots of options to browse through.
