McNally Robinson Booksellers: what do users think?

Richard: Best bookstore in the city. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very comforting. The bargain section is huge and has really good books in it!The location is a little bit inconvenient for me, but it’s worth the travel if i’m looking to expand my home library! Highly recommend, even if you aren’t a book lover.

Lightning McQueen: I wish I could read but I am a car

David P: Best bookstore in the city

Paul Turenne: I absolutely love this book store and have been coming here forever. It's my Sunday ritual to visit first thing in the morning and buy my favorite magazine and look around at all the various lovely books and nice greeting cards. The staff is most helpful and very nice. My sister who lives in Toronto love to shop here when she comes to Winnipeg. The best book store ever!!!

Bison Books: what do users think?

Nathan Balzer: Awesome selection and service. Delivery was incredible!

Henry Brock: Stopped by since I was in Winnipeg on business. What a great shop.

Matt Valcourt: My new favourite used bookstore in the city. Well organized and I could easily spend hours here! Friendly staff goes above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for.

Bailey Ross: Great used book store, the fact that they specialize in first editions and other rare titles means that the rest of their stock is all good quality. I often find other used books stores have non-fiction sections filled with low quality books.I only shopped for non-fiction and found everything on the shelf to be interesting, high quality titles. Prices on non-rare books were reasonable. This store also was much better organized than most used book stores.Highly recommend.

Jeff Gosman: I'll keep this short! The best used bookstore in town!!

Steacy Easton: Made sure to pull what I was interested when I cam back. Knowledgeable staff knew exactywhat I needed and wanted.

Anya Charlotte: Visited this store today and found 3 beautiful finely bound antiquarian books for my collection. Excellent selection, affordable prices. The girls working were wonderful and friendly, will definitely visit again

Jennifer Chan: Love this spot. After being lucky enough to see "Imagine Van Gogh" in Oct 2020 I messaged Aimee to see if she had any Van Gogh books for my boys for Christmas. She whipped up a selection and held them for me for the week till I could make it in to peruse them. Ditto for multiple other requests over the years. Love supporting this fantastic local biz!!

Andr W: Bison Books is my fave bookstore in Winnipeg. The staff have always been wonderfully helpful. I always get amazingly fast response to online questions. They have a beautiful curated collection, with huge variety. You can tell they really value books, history, and the written word in general....also the book stacks on IG are like a parade of things I want to hold and treasure.

Celine Brandt: Great place to browse. Love having them downtown!

Jessica Cupples: One of my longtime favourite local shops. It’s the dreamiest home for rare and used books. It’s filled my bookshelf with poetry, fiction and cookbooks by my favourite people. I always look forward to browsing this beautifully curated shop. The owner is the sweetest and so knowledgeable. This place is definitely a gem ofWinnipeg!

Gabriel Molin: One of the best in Winnipeg!

Rachael Alguire: The coziest bookstore with a great selection and super friendly staff. A must-se in Winnipeg!

Valorie P: My favorite bookstore in the city. Great quality and selection. Amazing atmosphere, with beautiful and cozy interior. Wonderful and friendly staff, always happy to help.

Stephanie Robinson: Amazing finds, and helpful, friendly service. Truly a gem of a bookstore!

Miona Milovanovic: The most wonderful owner and bookstore. The selection of books is amazing, so is the customer service. Consider supporting this business with the holidays coming up, you won’t regret it!

Red River Book Store: what do users think?

Remi DuBois: Great place for comics and dvds collectors to visit, and they usually have great prices

Laura Letinsky: Great places stuffed full of amazing selectiin

Amaryce Cousins: This place was packed but well organized. Even comics! Parking was easy, but it isn't handicapped accessible.

Navjit Singh: Amazing people and a great place to hunt for the books you need

Annie: Quite possibly my favourite place in the city. Hard to believe places like this still exist. So filled with charm and character, not to mention shockingly well organized, and with great customer service. A must-visit in my books. Great prices too!

Ashley Gay: Every kind of book can be found.

R W: Lots of books, comics, cds, dvds, vinyl some collectibles etc. If you love sorting and searching through piles of stuff this is the place for you. Some junk but lots of good stuff. Marginally organized -you will have to love treasure hunting. The guys are willing to bargain if you are reasonable. Long time owner and establishment that gives good memories of when downtown was thriving with other record shops and retail. One of the originals still somehow in business decades later.

Andrew Chapman: and my last visit in town I picked up 11 new books at about $6 each average.

moosefactorymullet: Legendary, super cool. “The Last of the Independents”

thomas oss: My kinda place, a dusty conglomeration of the good bad and the ugly. Presented in the kind of rickety chaos that needs hours to explore...

Whodunit New And Used Mystery Bookstore: what do users think?

Jeanne Lodge: Wonderful selection of new and used books.....helpful staff

Lorraine James: I rarely patronize this bookstore, but the night I attended, there was poetry reading. Yes, I indulged in listening to some poetry! Twas delightful. Had drinks with the poets afterwards, but the atmosphere was comfortable and effervescent.

Logan A. Lesage: What a precious amazing library!

Fiona Anthes: A great little bookstore that punches above its weight! I’ve bought adult fiction, children’s books, journals, and some used gems here. They’ve also ordered in titles that they didn’t have in stock for me, so they’ve never let me down.

MD C: I have had the pleasure of visiting this bookstore twice and have had excellent experiences both times. The staff members I spoke with were very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love their wrapped books that you get to pick blindly based on their descriptions. Both of my picks ended up being great books I might not have picked up on my own. Definitely will be back again.

Kenny B: It's a great place to buy new books and a fun place to find old editions of books as well.Every staff member I have dealt with has been great.

Fred O'Brien: Nice, cosy little bookshop. Lots of mystery books, both new and used, and a whole lot of othed genres as well. The staff were helpful and kind, overall a wonderful little store.

Cindy Curry: . I left with a bag full!! This is my new favourite bookstore and will be stopping each time I am in the city from now on.

M Prins: Super friendly staff, loads of used books and fun new books. Found more than we were looking for! Quaint neighbourhood, too!

Kate Garinger: Great selection and helpful staff. Their online shop is also super convenient. So glad to have them as part of our community!

Parris Filbert: Only open 11am to 3pm Saturdays from now on!

Kai Bear: I purchased a book from here internationally via biblio - I was very happy with the purchase. Well packaged book, and the communication directly from the store was excellent.

Ken Peters: A wide selection in many categories of books. I've found some gems here.

Lorraine Lafferty: Winnipeg staple full of lots of charm and a great selection of quality books. They don't just take in any old book people want to get rid of and it shows in their selection. Constant flow of books means every time you visit you find something new. Owners are very helpful and want to sell you books that are right for your needs and not just the most expensive copy they have.

Marjorie Hanowski: An extensive range of books of every genre

Peter Heinrichs: If they made me up a cot in the corner I'd stay indefinitely. This is a wonderful bookstore with a wide selection of reasonably priced books. Books, that cornerstone of the thinking life.

Ian Harrison: I loved this place because of they had a great selection of Canadian authors. I spent almost 2 hours looking through their books. Some of the books older books are 20-40 dollars, but they are in great condition and they are usually beautiful books. Additionally, they had cheaper paperback versions of those same books if you don't want to spend more.

Baylee: Such a nice shop. I'm really sad its closing

Amanda Anderson: Sad to see this place go, Nerman's books are truly a local South Osborne gem. That being said, you have to be ready to comb through the aisles as there are a LOT of books/items to check out!

Natisha N (nippy.): Wonderful little book shop full of treasures.

Bucky Bentley: Cute place, well worth a browse. Give yourself some time to visit

Dwight Froude: Loads of books.

rosa cavalini: Great variety of books, very good price!

Dave Blicq: Cool shop on Osborne beside the park theatre. Chill vibe, huge selection and enthused proprietor. Two floors of vintage books with sufficiently wide aisles make for a fun and "novel" experience. Enjoy!

sunny myla: great selection of books, but the customer service is not great. both women working there were rude to me. i will still return though!

Kevin Cahill: Very nice bookstore with a large selection!

Amelia Tompkins: Currently under construction so a bit chaotic to navigate, however, friendly staff and a good amount of space, so lots of options to browse through.

Gregory Alexander-Bort: Good chapters. Many books, under renovation right now so kinda limited.

Kynda Pollard: Always pumped to spend a few hours in Chapters! Nothing beats real books!

len mendoza: I love the items.

Dustin B: Becoming more of a gift shop then a book store. It was always a gift shop too but now that has overtaken the books for real estate inside Chapters. But the store is still as beautiful and Intersting as ever, with a great environment for all ages. And of course, a large and diverse selection of new books from all eras.

Evolution Hvac Services: Very happy with the sales staff , selection and overall value .Please don’t mistake my words . When I encounter good people/sales people and the selection, then that right there creates “value” more than the “price tag “ alone .Here I found true value amongst others that seemed to also have values .Very happy .I intend to make my next trip here tomorrow or Tuesday .

JurkaDS: Cute books store

Alex D: Amazing selection of books including local authors.

Sima Chowdhury: Cute little bookstore on the 2nd level of the forks market.

Stephen Jay: but there was no lineup.

Laurie Sodomlak: A visit to the Fork without stopping into McNally is not possible. Their collection of books for such a small space is stellar. Today I was demonstrating self control and walked away empty handed but took pick of a book for next visit.

David P: . While the location is fairly small, it nonetheless has a good selection of books to browse.

Sandra S.: This McNally Robinson location is a great place for finding local Manitoban authors, Canadian content and more. A must-visit small bookstore for anyone visiting Winnipeg and The Forks!

Globosapiens Used Bookstore: what do users think?

Samizdat Broadcasts: One of the better used book stores I've seen. Perhaps the most economical use of space I've ever seen in a used bookstore.

Joshua Bruins: Really friendly staff, great used book selection

Christina Norris: She's awesome! Honest too, I accidentally over paid and she called me to let me know! Definitely will be going back for my book needs!

Corey Mcgimpsey: Super nice Boss Lady and fair prices

A.Kathleen Sanders: In August, 2020x I emailed several second hand bookshops looking for a particular. I didn’t hear back from most of them and gave up as a lost cause.Well this March, the owner, Cathy called me to tel me that book had come in. Apparently she is very passionate about finding books for people. She has everything entered on this incredible document and remembers when people are looking for books, so can pull up their info when/if she comes across it. Just incredible service. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Don Thompson: Great owner.Large selection of books.Clean and organized.

Stephan: Great selection of books and the lady running it was extremely helpful.

Sean Dexter (MADCARS): Great little bookstore. Staff was great.

mary iver: An enriching used bookstore experience. Read some other negative reviews about the owner, I disagree; she is establishing a conversation which in all the public places to do so, a book store should be one to be the most inquisitive and should inquire about what inspires or interests you. Gave me some great recommendations at a great price! This book store is also very supportive to local authors.

Laura Patton: Fantastic! We did the book advent calendar for our two youngest kids, emailed their ages and interests and in a matter of hours had an amazing collection of books for each of them! My kids are so excited to open their books each day!

Chantelle Reid: It was our first visit to Globosapiens and I Iove this bookstore! Although a smaller footprint, it is very well stocked and organized. The store owner is very friendly and helpful. Just be advised it is cash only, no debit or credit card.

Syndi: and when they get it they will contact you. The owner is wonderful. I would go everyday if I could
